Loved it !

Just perfect. Lovely Italian style, absolutely everything you need is here. So peaceful, the terrace is wonderful, fabulous views, watching all the birds and catching the occasional violin music drifting over. A huge thank you to Cristina at lucaapartmentsandvillas.co.uk for all her help.

Die Wohnung ist super. In der Beschreibung wird nicht übertrieben. Eine sehr schöne Dachterrasse . Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Ruhige Lage und dennoch nur wenige Gehminuten in das Leben der Altstadt. Die Kommunikation mit Sidrak oder seinen Mitarbeiterinnen klappt gut. Kann ich nur bestens weiterempfehlen.

The perfect place to stay in Lucca

We have stayed throughout Tuscany and found Lucca to be our favorite location. This apartment, Casa Uccellini, was appointed perfectly. The outdoor area was great. One early evening, we listened to harp music from the music institute. Many afternoons we had cello, violen music. Having a washer was very helpful. There is a great lending English book section. We left books and took a few. This was greatly appreciated. Since we were on a one month driving trip of northern Italy, parking our car in the free lot outside the walls and being picked up was perfect and timely. The driver was the nicest man we met in Italy. Don't run away from Lucca. Enjoy the city, find your perfect pasta, meat, cheese, pastry shops. Gather your food and come "home" to make your perfect meal/evening. This was a highlight of our trip. If/when we go back to Italy, we will certainly entertain Lucca and this rental agency.

Beautiful Apartment in Lucca!

This was our 4th visit to Lucca and this was by far the best apartment we’ve stayed in. The location was fantastic, within the walls of Lucca and a short walk from several restaurants, bars and parking. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. It was clean, tidy and had all the essentials we needed. The decoration of the apartment was beautiful with all the modern touches you’d expect, along with a stunning roof terrace overlooking the city, we simply couldn’t find a fault. We’d highly recommend staying here on your Lucca trip.

We enjoyed our stay

Lucca is a lovely place to visit and the apartment is very well located - only a short walk to restaurants, bars, shops and the amazing attractions of the old town. Despite this the apartment was very quiet with no outside noise and a very efficient air con system (it was very hot outside during our stay in August!). The apartment was very clean and well equipped and the terrace was a lovely outdoor space. Walking through Lucca’s winding streetson the ramparts was beautiful at night and everywhere felt very safe. All in all a very good base to explore Lucca and wider north Tuscany

Quiet, comfortable and private apartment with a great view

The location is amazing, just outside the busy city center, but close enough to walk anywhere. And the private patio with a view of the large trees and Tuscan hills was our favorite place to relax. The rooms were all quiet, the beds were very comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows, blankets and towels for our needs. Finally, the management team is top quality, providing us with all the information we needed both before and during our stay. This property is highly recommended! There were many ants in the residence, both living and dead, when we arrived. Eliminating them was easily resolved with the bug killer spray that the management team provided, but I would recommend the team check for ants and clean up any dead ones before the next residents move into the unit.

Lovely in Lucca

Casa Uccellini is a beautiful apartment in an excellent location. It is both cozy and spacious at the same time. The high ceilings give the rooms a feeling of space and the sunlight from all the windows in the bedrooms bring in great light. The windows in the living room gives you views of the trees and it feels like being in a treehouse. The terrace is large and perfect for morning coffee or evening glass of wine where you can watch the people walking or riding their bikes on the wall. The bathroom is fully equipped and the kitchen works perfectly for two when cooking. There are 30 steps up to the apartment and then once you enter their are 10 more to the living space. The last 10 are steep but I am 70+ and able to navigate them even with luggage. The staff of Lucca Apartments and Villas are both professional and friendly. They truly do care about your experience. This is the second time I have stayed in one of their properties and they are the only people I will stay with in the future. I recommend them to all my friends. I can't wait to return to Lucca.

Lovely Lucca Terrace

This property was excellent. We loved the outdoor terrace which was comfortable and had a wonderful green space view. The location was excellent and was a short walk to all kinds of things inside the city walls. The apartment was decorated in a shabby chic style and was well done. Bedding was very comfortable and the AC was effective. We had most everything we needed with very few exceptions in the kitchen. Please know there are fairly significant stairs and no lift which was not a problem for us but may be for others. Lucca is an incredible place to visit and very relaxing. There were some dusty areas in the corners but generally very clean. The shower was very slow draining which is probably due to the age of the building and plumbing which can be expected. I would be very hesitant with very small children due to the steep staircase up inside the apartment which would be difficult to block from little ones.

Amazing apartment

I really appreciated all support of Lucca apartments's team, when we needed they were there to help. The apartment itself provides everything you need for a long-stay and it's in a great peaceful location, but just 1 minute far from the main commercial street of Lucca. Lucca itself, not enough words, super organised, great and open people. Me and my family had great time, for sure we will come back and we strongly recommend renting with Lucca appartments. Maybe just get new mattresses, but it was not a problem for us.

a lovely home away from home.

This is a beautiful apartment with a balcony that looks into the trees and across to part of the iconic walls that surround the city. It is very well appointed for a longer stay (we were there for 2 weeks) and the large balcony was lovely for reading and meals. It is fitted out with absolutely everything you could wish for a lovely home away from home.

Oltre le mie aspettative!

Ottimo alloggio all'interno delle mura di Lucca, a pochissimi passi dal centro e dai pricipali servizi, negozi ed attrazioni. Parcheggio non a pagamento a poco meno di 10 min a piedi oppure parcheggio a pagamento (Mazzini) all'interno delle mura a 5 min a piedi. Appartamento molto bello ed accogliente, arredato elegantemente.

The perfect place to stay in Lucca

Great place with good proximity to primary attractions within Lucca. Parking was the only drawback but using the underground parking at Parcheggio Mazzini worked well.

Perfect location

Really well decorated and clean apartment, ideal location near to main shops and restaurants but tucked away enough to be quiet when home. Enjoyed a glass of wine on the balcony on an evening. Can’t fault anything.

Fantastic terrace and beautifully decorated

We loved spending time on the very comfortable outdoor terrace. Great location with easy walking to all of Lucca. Wall with walking/running path was close by for morning and evening exercise or casual strolling. Beautiful interior with all amenities.

Perfect apartment with superb terrace in Lucca

A great location. Lucca is a beautiful place. My 16yr old son enjoyed going for walks around the shops on his own, and it is a very safe place. Great vibe when eating out and walking around in the evenings, with amazing bars and restaurants. By the way the apartment is in a quiet street which makes it the perfect place to relax. Enjoyed going on a bike around the walls. Beaches only 30 minutes in the car. Also enjoyed an afternoon in Montecarlo, lovely scenic drive! we prepared meals at the apartment also, the kitchen was superbly equipped and there were items to dress a romantic table. Mrs Sonia meets you at the apartment and shows you round the apartment etc, and she is very friendly. The apartment was very clean and tidy. The terrace was a great bonus! We enjoyed very much and we will be back soon! JoAnn
