Lovely little studio in south west London, perfect for our trip to Wimbledon for the tennis. Very easy to find and having parking was a bonus. Great location, variety of eating places and shops on your doorstep, but still a very quiet place. Studio was spotlessly clean and plenty of room for 2. Hosts thoughtfully provided milk, juice, cookies, tea & coffee etc which we were grateful for. I loved the Rituals shower foam too, a lovely surprise and one of my faves! No issues at all and we’d have no qualms about staying again or recommending to others.
A nice place in a great location for central London by Uber. Richard & Fiona were good hosts in person and prior. Thank you for the supplied left for us in the room. Very much appreciated,
Lovely little place to stay, although quite roomy at the same time. Had everything we needed and close to railway station. Owners were lovely and nothing was a problem. Would stay again and definitely recommend. Thanks guys 😊
We were very happy with our stay. The garden studio was ideal for our short stay in London and had everything we needed. We appreciated the privacy of a separate studio and the neighbourhood was very quiet. Communication with the owner was very good.
Excellent location, with the owners on the same plot of land.
Excellent and comfortable. The unexpected surprise were the cookies, chips, orange juice & milk.
The neighborhood is fabulous, with many restaurants within walking distance, as well as convenience & grocery stores.
I highly recommend this private studio.
Fiona and Richard's place was private, clean, comfortable and very welcoming. It was a very thoughtful touch that they provided us with milk, orange juice and some yummy cookies and chips. The location is in a nice neighbourhood with plenty of pubs, restaurants, convenient stores and about a 25 min drive away from Bukingham Palace. My partner and I really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return, and highly recommend others staying here.
We stayed Monday until Friday. We were at the tennis Tuesday and Wednesday, the location was perfect with Streatham station only a few stops from Wimbledon. The apartment had everthing we could need for our stay and was clean and bright. Thoughtful snacks and some milk and juice greeted us on arrival, we are vegan but the owners weren't to know. Also close to a tesco, lidl, aldi and m&s so easy to stock up on supplies. Absolutely no negatives.
Great Studio , close to amenities, apartment had all we needed , clean tidy and warm. Parks one street away then shops, restaurants etc another steer away. Centre of London easily accessible with good pupils transport close by. Felt like a leafy village despite being so close. Felt safe and a bonus we could park our car on site . Fiona and Richard were welcoming and provided some nibbles and fresh orange juice which was thoughtful. Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thankyou
Lovely, cosy, comfortable appartment in back of the hosts garden. We felt save. The room and the bathroom was clean & well equipped and we felt ourselves very welcomed. Host Fiona & Richard are so friendly and helpful. We reccommend to take one of the many busses (2 bus stations only 5-10 minutes walking distance), in order to reach the next underground (Brixton) or go directly by bus to London City Centre. The Garden House of Fiona & Richard has directly access (thameslink to STREATHAM STATION) if you arrive by train (e.g. Eurostar) at St. Pancras International Station. We enjoyed our stay in London very much and can really recommend the appartment.
The garden chalet location was lovely. I had my own parking space and entrance into the garden. Access was easy, and the chalet had everything needed for a city stay, and also some lovely nibbly extras. The shower was lovely, and the bed was super comfy. My dog was also made very welcome and had full access to the garden. There were games and books a plenty, and a proper sized mug for my coffee The hosts were lovely and friendly and had good knowledge of the local area and I recommend reading the booklet, as it was really informative. This stay was perfect for us.One thing, there is a postal sorting office behind the chalet. This can get quite noisy during the night, so if you're a light sleeper, get some ear plugs! I was woken a couple of times, probably because all the windows were open due to the heat. DONT let that put you off though, as this stay was definitely a 10/10
My husband, our 18 year old son, and I were visiting London on holiday. The studio was exactly as described. It is very close to the bus and underground lines and yet the neighborhood is very quiet. There is a grocery store less than 1/2 a block away. The studio was impeccably clean and had every thing we needed. We knew from the reviews to expect it to be small, and it was. However, our plan was to spend all day in the city and only use the studio for sleeping- so it was perfect. The covered porch has a small table with two chairs and offers a little extra space. Richard greeted us when we arrived. Fiona brought us a fan the following morning - it was unseasonably warm. They were quick and responsive to any questions we had. Expect the space to be small but perfect if you are looking for a clean, safe, quiet, conveniently located place to sleep while you visit London.

Microwave worry
The property is a converted garage, and the original garage double doors remain at the front where the car parks. I was very upset and worried about the microwave which continued to run after I opened the door. I put my hand in to remove the bowl then realised it was dangerous and shut the door and it continued to cook my OatSoSimple oats until I turned it off at the wall socket. I spoke to the owner, who came and switched it on and off and demonstrated that when it was cooking things the door was locked shut and could not be opened. That is all very well, but that was not happened to me. The owner assured me it was only the fan and demonstrated switching it on and this time the door locked and would not open. Nevertheless I would like to know how frequently the microwave has an electric safety test. It ruined my day of a much anticipated trip as I was worried sick in case it had caused my hand some damage.
We had a great stay at Fiona’s. We loved the neighborhood. Great coffee, restaurants and groceries nearby. The bus and metro were within walking distance. It was 20 or so minute ride to downtown areas. The room was clean, comfortable, a little small but perfect for our visit. They provided welcome treats which was great after a long plane ride. The room had coffee, toaster and cooking supplies. We were able to get some work done too at the small counter by the cooking space. Loved the outdoor seating too.
