We can’t recommend Irena highly enough as a host. Before our stay, she provided us with a wealth of helpful information, including fantastic restaurant recommendations and suggestions for things to do in the area. Everything we tried based on her advice was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel incredibly welcome—no question was ever too much trouble. Her apartment was not only beautifully presented, but it also offered one of the most amazing views we’ve ever seen. When we return to Montenegro—we already know exactly where we’ll be staying!

Immaculate property with every last detail thought of. Great base to explore the area . Walking distance to local restaurants and the sea . Sept weather wasn’t so kind to us so glad we’d hired a car and could visit other places - Kotor , Prevast , Lake Skadar , to name a few . Unspoilt and beautiful

Milo and Lidija are perfect hosts, they have created a wonderful place for a holiday rental and the cleanliness and practicality is hard to fault. We enjoyed our first trip to Montenegro - the sun, the sea (what a gorgeous colour), the history. The apartment is the perfect launchpad to experience everything the country has to offer.

We had a lovely few days at Penthouse Stoliv. Daniel welcomed us and made us feel as if nothing was too much bother. I would recommend taking a boat trip from the jetty, wandering around Kotor, walking up to the church on the hill above the house and going on the Kotor cable car. Also Restaurant Margarite a 10 minute walk away.

We loved this wonderful property and agree with other reviews that the pictures do not do it justice. It has stunning views of evening sunsets, is well equipped and spacious so that our family of 6 (ages 17+) had space not to be on top of each other. There is plenty of outside areas to eat and sunbathe and the top terrace is incredible where we bbq'ed, ate and sunbathed. Although the pool is small it is deep so great to immerse yourself in to cool off. There is a small pebbly beach in Rose or larger ones 20 mins drive from the property. If you are driving it is worth noting that the drive up to the villa has 2 tight turns which we managed but had to take it very slowly first time. The property manager, Jules, is amazing and incredibly helpful and responsive and happy to answer all of my questions! Rose, the small fishing village at the bottom of the hill is picturesque and has a lovely restaurant called Adriatic which serves delicious food and wonderful fresh fish. (you can either choose to walk down the 400 steps - and back up - between the villa and village or drive down as there is plenty of parking) There is also a boat from Rose to Herceg Novi (takes 15 mins) that is a larger town with more restaurant choices including Portofino in the beautiful white stone Old Town or Tri Lipe a short walk from the boat drop off.

We had a wonderful two weeks in this apartment. It was clean, comfortable and had the newest of appliances and facilities. We spent many a morning and evening relaxing on the balcony and had spectacular views of the firework festivals and ships. The pool was an added bonus and we enjoyed this facility in the 36 degree heat, if you don't like swimming in the sea! The position of the apartment meant that we could walk to the old town within twenty minutes and visit the local restaurant and bars with ease. We ate and drank well and everything was good value for money. The boutique shops were excellent if you like browsing. We would absolutely recommend this as a place to stay. Annie was very helpful and everyone staying in that particular complex were kind, helpful and respectful. The days out we chose to do were also exciting (with some hairy bus rides!) Don't expect wild, raucous nightlife - this was a romantic, quiet, relaxing break, perfectly suited to our needs. We definitely hope to return in the not too distant future.

Lovely apartment, well situated in the old town in a less busy area. Handy for the local supermarket and very easy to walk out to restaurants that all very close. Aneta was very helpful and welcoming. Would return.
