The apartment is on the seafront with immediate access to a quiet beach which slopes gently into the Kotor Bay and provides very safe swimming. The property comprises the entire first floor of a seafront property with a large private terrace overlooking the sea and an off-road parking space. It has recently been refurbished to a high standard including a new kitchen and bathrooms, ceramic tiled floors throughout, air conditioning and a secure water supply.

What a view to wake up to!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay in this apartment. The apartment is well furnished and was large enough for a family of 6 of us not to feel cramped at all. There was every mod-con available too. The village itself was very cute and the people very friendly. We would happily return for another vacation here.

Wow! Just had the most amazing time!

The apartment is in a truly wonderful location, and we have had just had 10 days of sweltering, unbroken sunshine!! The beautifully clear waters of the lake were but a stones throw away, and the air conditioned apartment served to cool us all down beautifully when it all got a bit too hot. The area is truly stunning with beautiful scenery, and the opportunity to explore by land or by water makes this such an irresistible place to visit. Of particular note were the Old towns of Budva and Kotor, with Tivat also being very close and accessible to give a variety of notable places to eat. On this note we were struck by how reasonable it was to dine out, and just how friendly people were. We would like to especially recommend the lake tour offered by the "le coche d'eau" sailing from Tivat and offering the opportunity to swim in the Blue Cave, visiting Kotor and other locations around the bay. The captain and his wife were totally charming, and the tour lasted from 10.00am to 18.00pm for the princely sum of 10 euros per person!! unbelievable value. Safe to say we loved our stay and were very grateful to have such a fantastic base from which to explore this beautiful area. In short we will be back!

Breathtaking views

Apartment is extremely well kept and fully equipped with stunning views across the bay to Perast. Quite a distance from the old town but you can flag a bus down fro outside or anywhere along the bay. However during our stay these only ran once an hour-not sure if they run more frequently as the season fully gets going-Stoliv is small and neither of the restaurants within walking distance of our apartment were opening until the day we flew home on June 12th which was a shame. Sandra from the property management company was most helpful during our stay and when we wanted a question answered we just sent her a message on What's App and she replied straight away. All in all a wonderful place to wake up to-the only suggestions for improvement we would make as a party of 5 ladies are

1. A full length mirror somewhere in the apartment

2. A bin in the 2nd bathroom and

3. A parasol for the balcony

This is by no means a criticism as we had a wonderful time here and would not hesitate to recommend

It's a home from home, except better!

The apartment is based on the second floor of a three-storey building, which sits infront of a narrow road and then the bay of Kotor. On entering the apartment we were pleasantly surprised with the size of the living/kitchen area. The kitchen has everything you would need to cook a meal (except a microwave).

The lounge has two good-sized and very comfortable sofas, and they face the two double doors which lead out onto the capacious balcony, which has a wonderfully panoramic view of the bay and the mountains.

The main double bedroom (which has a kingsize bed) has an ensuite wet-room. There is a double wardrobe in the bedroom with plenty of wooden hangers, and there are plug sockets next to each side of the bed (a plus for charging your phone overnight!)

There are buses from Tivat to Kotor which stop outside the apartment every hour and cost only €1!!! There is really no need to hire a car.

Within 200m of the apartment are a small supermarket which stocks most of everyday essentials, and a restaurant on the edge of the bay which serves simple but delicious grilled meats, fish and salads and where you can get a large beer and a glass of wine for €2.50!!

Although there aren't any typically sandy beaches in the vicinity, there are lots of little jetties on which to lay your towel or place your lounger, all of which have steps down into the sea.

Simple and relaxing, so close to the water

The apartment is beautifully clean and fresh. There was plenty of space for our family of 5. It had everything we needed and the kitchen was very well equipped. We loved swimming everyday just over the road and eating on the balcony which had perfect shade so we could eat lunch outside even when it was 35 degrees. We visited a few of the lovely out towns nearby, but it was hard to drag ourselves away from Stoliv, lovely bars and restaurants and friendly neighbours.

Great apartment in the Bay of Kotor

A clean,well equiped apartment with fantastic views of the Bay of Kotor.A great location for exploring Montenegro and Croatia.

The owner was extremely helpful and provided great advice and guidance.

The property management company were also very helpful both on arrival and at departure.Montenegro is a very beautiful country and the National Parks are amazing.

The world class Porto Montenegro marina is less than ten minutes by car with its signature restaurants, lively bars and a wide range of sports, leisure and cultural activities.

The Vermac mountain rises behind the property and provides ample opportunity for walking and hiking in lush, unspoilt and largely deserted groves of ancient olive and chestnut trees.
