SHEPHERD’S HUT (DELUXE).
A beautiful artisan built luxury large shepherd’s hut, with the ambience of modern living in a quiet country retreat.
Situated at Foxhill Farm set apart from our other two holiday cottages is our one bedroom absolutely charming Shepherd’s Hut. With a hand built fitted oak kitchen supplying full size gas cooker, microwave, retro fridge with freezer, compact coffee machine and toaster, the living area also provides a dining table, two pretty carver chairs and a quirky addition of three vintage cinema seats giving a unique interesting touch. A television with built in dvd is also supplied. Rustic industrial lighting provides a cosy feel and the accommodation which is centrally heated comes fully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay.
A full size shower room is provided fitted with toilet/shower/wash basin cabinet/heated towel rail and the separate pretty bedroom houses a handmade double bed, a hanging wardrobe space, bedside tables with retro lamps, usb connections and a television with built in dvd. A lovely country outlook is enjoyed from the Hut and as we are in an area of no light pollution you can also indulge yourselves in star gazing through the roof skylight. All quality linen and towels are provided and a washing machine and tumble dryer are available.

A stable door leads from the oak veranda which is up 4 small steps from a private patio with table & chairs and chimenea with FREE logs provided.
The patio area is enclosed with a rustic fence which is ideal for dogs (£10.00 per stay) which are allowed under our standard policy of ‘providing they do not go into the bedroom or on the furniture they are very welcome’.

From the Shepherd’s Hut you can cycle or walk a short distance into the forestry tracks. We have plenty of storage for your bikes. If you wish to bring your boat to take to the coast then we can store this securely for you.
At the bottom of the road we have the local shop/post office and village pub.
Situated on the edge of the New Forest, located on the boundary of Dorset and Hampshire, close to the River Avon. Ideally situated to explore Ringwood Forest, on our doorstep, and a short drive can take you to the New Forest National Park famous for its free roaming ponies, donkeys, cattle and pigs in the autumn,, New Forest Water Park, Moors Valley Country Park, the local quaint town of Fordingbridge, delightful Wimborne Minster or the local market town of Ringwood. All offering excellent pubs/restaurants and coffee houses. Bournemouth coast’s spectacular beaches are an easy 25 minute drive, the Jurassic coast within easy reach and the ancient city of Salisbury with its beautiful cathedral is well worth a visit.
This is a perfect romantic hideaway, an ideal bolt hole for couples and just 2 hours from London, easily accessible and ideal for a country break. Minimum stay of 2 nights.
