Durmast House är en vacker fastighet nås vid slutet av enheten. Huset ligger i fyra tunnland trädgård designad av den berömda Edwardian designern Gertrude Jekyll och som är noterat i Hampshire registret över historiska trädgårdar. Gästerna är välkomna att vandra runt i trädgården.
Detta bekväma lägenhet har boende på två nivåer och är en generös storlek. Från entréhallen finns ett fullt utrustat kök med en frukost bord och fyra stolar. Idyllic Place to Stay

A perfect location in the New Forest, near Burley Village, pubs, golf and walking trails. The flat is fully supplied, clean and very comfortable. The gardens are beautiful and the perfect spot to sit, relax and enjoy the aroma of roses, lavender and wisteria.I would highly recommend and will return in the future.

Great location, great place!

This was the second time we have stayed at Durmast House and we have really enjoyed both visits. The property is very comfortable, warm, quiet and has a lovely, huge garden to explore and enjoy. The owner is very pleasant and helpful. Location-wise, it is perfect for exploring the New Forest and its villages as well as being in easy reach of the coast. We hope to stay here again in the future and that should be recommendation in itself. Thank you Philip for a lovely week.

Relaxing Christmas Break

We have just returned from a week at this ideal apartment.The location is perfect for forest walking, village shops and local pubs. The host Philip was charming and helpful. We hope to return soon.

Just what was needed

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay. It was very warm in rather cold weather, cosy, spacious, well equipped and quiet in the most lovely surroundings and Philip wonderfully welcoming and kind. We would recommend to others.

Beautiful Gardens

The house was absolutely gorgeous! We enjoyed our stay a lot. The furniture was very beautiful. And everything was nice and clean. The kitchen is spacy and has all you need for cooking and baking. The location was very handy for us as well. We spend most of our days on walks around the area and didn't have to drive much. The garden is also a must to check out and a peaceful place to admire nature, watch the stars or read a book. Overall very relaxing. The owners are also very nice and supported with information. Our dog lived the holiday as well. There are plenty of areas around the property to take a dog out for walks.

Perfect property.nestled in the magnificent New Forest

This property is situated in Durmast House just outide the beautiful village of Burley. This property has manificent grounds and ample parking. Every possible utensil.is available. Hosts Phillip and Margaret are on hand to assist as needed. The flat is spacious and homely. Would definitely recommend and stay again

Delightful stay

We had a wonderful few days in this very clean, well equiped and comfortable flat attached to the hosts' house. The host (Philip) was delightful, explained various aspects and that we were welcome to explore the extensive garden, and was on hand if we needed anything.

Super property

We stopped for a week at the end of May and felt relaxed and at home from the very first minute. The apartment was immaculately clean and comfortable, the shower (which hasn't been mentioned much in other reviews) was superb and the gardens were a delight. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. All parts of The New Forest and coast were easily accessible. We would certainly be happy to recommend here to others and look forward ourselves to returning in the future.

Lovely period house and gardens

Lovely stay

Had a lovely short break, in this very pleasant accommodation. Location is perfect for walks and discovering The New Forest. The owners were always on hand for any requests or advice and made us feel welcome. Very much enjoyed staying in this older property with character and beautiful garden. We hope to return again in the near future.

Lovely property in a fabulous location

Despite the horrendous rain we had a lovely time. I can see the garden will be beautiful in a few month - it was just starting to bud while we were there. The short walk to the pub was enjoyable (bring a torch), and Burley village is very friendly.

Durmast House is set in the beautiful New Forest area of Hampshire. There are many walks across the heaths and forests. The sea is not very far away with lovely views across the the Isle of Wight.
The gardens of Durmast House are widely regarded as being a typical example of Gertrude Jekyll's English style garden design. The gardens are open fro charity twice a year under the National Garden Scheme.
