Durmast House est une belle propriété atteint à la fin de l'entraßnement. La maison est située dans 4 hectares de jardin dessiné par le célÚbre designer Edwardian Gertrude Jekyll et qui est inscrit au registre Hampshire des jardins historiques. Les clients sont invités à se promener dans le jardin.
Cet appartement confortable dispose d'un logement sur deux niveaux et est une taille généreuse. Depuis le hall d'entrée est une cuisine entiÚrement équipée avec une table de petit déjeuner et quatre chaises. Au premier étage il ya un grand salon avec une suite de trois piÚces et un espace plus formel. A cÎté se trouve la chambre à coucher avec lit double et placards avec une salle de bain.

An excellent place to stay in the New Forest. The flat is on 2 floors and has plenty of space and has everything that you could possibly need. The area is very quiet but there is a good pub a stone's throw away. The garden is a lovely place to while away some time after a day out exploring the New Forest, and Philip is a welcoming host, especially if you like cars...

Idyllic Place to Stay

A perfect location in the New Forest, near Burley Village, pubs, golf and walking trails. The flat is fully supplied, clean and very comfortable. The gardens are beautiful and the perfect spot to sit, relax and enjoy the aroma of roses, lavender and wisteria.I would highly recommend and will return in the future.

Delightful stay

We had a wonderful few days in this very clean, well equiped and comfortable flat attached to the hosts' house. The host (Philip) was delightful, explained various aspects and that we were welcome to explore the extensive garden, and was on hand if we needed anything.

Relaxing Christmas Break

We have just returned from a week at this ideal apartment.The location is perfect for forest walking, village shops and local pubs. The host Philip was charming and helpful. We hope to return soon.

Just what was needed

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay. It was very warm in rather cold weather, cosy, spacious, well equipped and quiet in the most lovely surroundings and Philip wonderfully welcoming and kind. We would recommend to others.

Great location, great place!

This was the second time we have stayed at Durmast House and we have really enjoyed both visits. The property is very comfortable, warm, quiet and has a lovely, huge garden to explore and enjoy. The owner is very pleasant and helpful. Location-wise, it is perfect for exploring the New Forest and its villages as well as being in easy reach of the coast. We hope to stay here again in the future and that should be recommendation in itself. Thank you Philip for a lovely week.

Burley in the New Forest

We spent a lovely 10 nights at the flat listed. Beautiful location exactly as listed. Hosts were living downstairs and always available if we needed anything. Highly recommend this location for a couple.

Lovely stay

Had a lovely short break, in this very pleasant accommodation. Location is perfect for walks and discovering The New Forest. The owners were always on hand for any requests or advice and made us feel welcome. Very much enjoyed staying in this older property with character and beautiful garden. We hope to return again in the near future.

Durmast House is set in the beautiful New Forest area of Hampshire. There are many walks across the heaths and forests. The sea is not very far away with lovely views across the the Isle of Wight.
The gardens of Durmast House are widely regarded as being a typical example of Gertrude Jekyll's English style garden design. The gardens are open fro charity twice a year under the National Garden Scheme.
