Brand new one suite apartment in Ibiza center

Dear Marjolein, We unfortunately needed to charge you the person who came to open the apartment from the outside (locksmith), which is a professional dedicated to do this jobs, because you left the key inside the apartment into the latch/bolt. Unfortunately when is left a key into a bolt, that is not allowing to open from outside, which is something that happens in all (or most of them) bolts for safety reasons. We would also need to say that in checkin time (always done in person with our guests) we always explain where to leave the key (on the table) in case that you look for a flexible checkout to leave when you like, which was the case. We understand that leaving the key inside the bolt was done by accident by you, but unfortunately we needed to call the locksmith opening service due to that, therefore unfortunately it has a cost to fix it and be able to open the apartment to clean and prepare for the following guests checking in that same day. I completely understand that you would have preferred to not have paid that cost. I would also have liked that the issue didnt happen to have been able to offer a complete nice holiday experience to you, but I would have never charged any cost if the issue was due to our fault.
