Unfortunately the pictures look better than reality. Generally, it is a nice enough place but when you look at some of the details, it kind of feels like an older hotel room. It also had a smell to it that wasn't awesome. The kitchen also felt under equipped so cooking meals was actually kind of difficult. The location wasn't bad, the two king beds were great and the parking was easy.
The location of this rental is great for getting out on the town. You’re right in the mix, close to shops and restaurants. The neighborhood is walkable and safely lit. My only wish is that there were a few fixes to broken features - the patio has a broken rail that poses a potential safety hazard, and the Beth room faucet was broken and obviously glued back together, which broke again quickly upon use.

Disliked: Listing accuracy
I was disappointed that the condo did not quite look like the posted pictures. I expected a more modern condo and instead the floor was marked up, the couch in the living room sunk when you sat down and the carpets were soiled and there was a smell of dog urine in one of the bedrooms. One bedroom did not have a television like the listing stated. The shower knob did not clearly turn to the hot or cold so it was hard to get to the hot water. The toilet made a high pitch noise when you flushed it and it would just run at odd times. The good things were that the bed was comfortable, the shower head in the shower was nice. It did feel like a safe neighborhood as there were a lot of people out walking their dogs. There was not a lot of noise and it was close to the location that I was needing to get to the days I stayed.
We stayed for a long KC weekend and generally this place is fine. It's a good price and close to a lot of things. It's located in a larger complex, so there are a few issues that the property manager can't avoid (e.g., there was a pervasive smell of marijuana outside the front door). But parking was plentiful and we felt safe the entire time. We had communication issues with the property manager, such as emails asking for a later departure time, that went unanswered, but these did not meaningfully impact our stay.Nevertheless, we did have ants in the master bedroom, and we never received any contact from the property manager after sending proof. It was not an infestation, per se, but there were more than enough incidents to make us tread lightly in the bedroom (thankfully we did not catch ants in our bed or inside our luggage). There are a few minor inconveniences as well. The shower did not stop completely, so there was always drips of water all over the tub (this was noticeable as soon as we arrived). Nor were the dishes put away in-between stays (we set it again anyway to comply with house rules). And the remote controls were all broken in a way, rather than being replaced with new ones.Good value for the money, but you def get what you pay for.
Everything was nice. My only complaint is that we only had two towels, so when the toilet flooded there weren’t any spare towels to clean. Outside of that, evening was great!

I would not recommend this particular unit. The rank of pot smoke was overwhelming. While I don’t think it was this unit, it was all those around it. The door kept continually locking and unlocking electronically when we tried to secure it at checkout. There was some sort of sticky all over the floor and kitchen countertop. The sofa was in such bad shape you literally sunk to the springs when you sat on it. Overall, this rental did not clean at all. While I assume the sheets were changed and common cleaning done, there was no chance that the floors were cleaned under table and other obstacles. For the price, you can easily do better. I will say the location was very good, convenient. This is not a house, it’s an apt/condo in a bldg, FYI.Sorry, wish I had an honest review before I booked it.
The location is perfect, and easy walk to the plaza or the streetcar. The parking lot is a bit tight but its nice to not be on the street. Overall the unit us nice but in need of some updates. The bedrooms are very dimly lit, some brighter bulbs or better lamps would be nice, a mirror in the bedrooms as we were sharing a bathroom and needed multiple areas to get ready, and the shower was a bit tricky. It doesn't have an actual "off position" it spins 360 degrees so you have to just slowly spin it until it stops dripping. The couch seems to have something broken in the middle area and the coffee table is worn. I would stay here again, but some updates would make it better.
Nice location, lovely kitchen and living area, comfortable bed but I would not necessarily stay again. The neighbors were very loud from 3:30 a.m. on, the fan was not balanced so it was loud, the toilet ran, and the curtains are sheer so in the morning light comes through but at night there’s only one lamp for light. It was clean though and felt safe and I appreciated having a no hassle way to do an early check in.
As advertised. Clean and comfortable. Accessibility to the Plaza and Westport is excellent. Parking good. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is shower needs upgrade and the lock between parking lot and patio needs repair. Otherwise we recommend this property...
We were only there for one night. We baby sat our 8wk old grandson while kids went to the Banana Ball Game. It was comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Full kitchen with a hodge podge of plates/pans etc. If you plan to cook a lot, it might be a challenge. No prep or serving containers.
We traveled to KC for the AFC championship game. The condo was nice, clean, and close to local sports bars and restaurants. Thanks Alex and Glenn!!

Loved the area and this apartment was so cute and clean. Minor issues with the TV and dryer but the amenities overall were amazing and I will definitely be back next time I’m in Kansas City! Highly recommend.

Check in was fine. It was odd that they sent a link the day I booked several months in advance for the day of checkin. I reached out to the host and they seemed short with me when I asked about it. Kitchen had bare minimum of plates, bowls, cups. The cabinet all stuck and you had to pull hard to open. No salt or pepper in the shakers. WiFi was strong and easy to access.
