Westgate Cottage is a wonderful holiday home with a fabulous garden in a great position, tucked away quietly from the road in the very popular coastal village of Thornham. With supremely comfortable beds and three bathrooms, it offers lots of privacy and space for families or friends.

The cottage has a super kitchen leading through to a spacious dining room, with conservatory off that and a good sized sitting room with two three seater sofas beyond the dining room. There are two double bedrooms with en-suites and a separate shower room, making it easy to get ready when there's a full house. The house is comfortable and easy to live in and very practical too with solid oak floors throughout the kitchen and reception rooms.

This large single storey family-friendly holiday home comes with a fabulous large enclosed garden, lovely and private, laid mainly to lawn with mature trees and shrubs, making it a perfect place to spend sunny afternoons relaxing and long evenings catching the last of the sun's rays. With two terraces, one at the rear of the property and one set within the main garden area, garden furniture and gas barbecue, there's no excuse for not dining alfresco.

The cottage is within easy walking distance of all the excellent pubs and restaurants in the village, including the ever popular Thornham Deli, The Orange Tree, The Lifeboat Inn and The Chequers, and at the further end of the village there is Eric's Fish and Chips, Gurney's fishmongers and the fabulous Drove Orchard's farm shop with facilities to pick your own fruit.

Recomendation Of Westgate Cottage

Could not find anything I did not like. Would love to stay here again. Ideal for a older person being on one level Although our stay in this property was not planned, due to a flood in Chestnut Cottage we had to vacate and staff at Norfolk Hideaways suggested Westgate Cottage. Could not have been a better choice. Especially loved the garden.

Accessed via the kitchen, oak dining table with seating for eight, oak side board and french doors to the conservatory.

Accessed from the dining room, this is a great extra space to relax in and enjoy the view of the garden beyond. Glazed, with blinds and two comfy two seater sofas, bookcase with books and games and french doors out to the garden.

To the rear of the property is a lovely large private garden, laid mainly to grass with mature trees and shrubs making it a fabulous place to spend long afternoons and warm evenings. There are two patios, one in the garden and one to the side of the conservatory with garden furniture, gas barbecue (gas refills are organised by the owner).
Approached via a shared driveway and a five bar gate, there is a shingle drive to the front of the cottage with parking for three cars. Once the gate is closed the front and rear gardens are fully enclosed.​
