To begin, we didn't receive the address of the property until the day before we arrived.The owner's phone number wasn't included. Upon arriving, I was knocking on the door to find out how we get a key with no success. Immediately, my phone rang. It was the owner saying the info was on the vrbo website. I had checked Vrbo before we left Reno and it wasn't there. A couple of additional things, first it was 104 degrees that day, Once inside I tried to lower the room temperature, but couldn't. The owner has it setup so no one can make adjustments to the thermostat. Also, the property portfolio pictures show this great view of the valley below, but don't miss the tiny print on the bottom left of that page. It states it's the view from one of the bedroom windows. I thought it was the view from the deck at the rear of the house. What the owner has done, is boarded up all the windows on that side of the house, installed drapes to cover up the boards and locked an access door to the rear deck. The owners live in the lower half of the house and I assume they climb the stairs and use that upper deck for themselves. To me those view pictures in their advertisement is a deliberate ploy to deceive potential tenants. Finally, they have pictures of a beautiful sectional couch in the living room. That couch should be sent to the nearest dump. When you sit in it, your behind sinks to the floor and you'll need help to get out of it.
I don't recommend staying here!
