The housekeeper is very grateful if bedlinen can be stripped from the beds and left in a pile, along with the towels.
Please wash and dry crockery, cutlery and pans/dishes and return to the cupboards. Please take rubbish to the dustbins.
Please make sure all lights are off, (including the shower switch in the kitchen) and the house is locked with the key returned to the key safe. Many thanks!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please leave the house in the condition you found it in, wash up dishes and clear away any food. Please report any breakages.
No dogs upstairs/on sofas at any time & always keep on lead in garden. Dogs must be shut in kitchen at night or if you leave them in the cottage .

Great, spacious and warm property in a good location to access all the local area has to offer. Plenty of walks, beaches and wildlife nearby and only a short drive into Lochinver for restaurants and amenities.
Lovely property in a wonderfully remote location. The cottage was warm and cosy and communication with Daisy was excellent. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the views from the bench in the garden were outstanding.Highly recommended.
Wonderful little cottage, very clean and exactly what the photos on the site show. The communication with Daisy was very good, she responded to queries very quickly. We had a wonderful stay!
Lovely, well equipped cottage in Stoer. Cosy property with wood burning stove. Kitchen has everything you need. We loved the remote location with lots of nearby beautiful beaches and walks. Excellent communication from Daisy.
We were so smitten with this wonderful cottage. Daisy had everything so well outfitted and comfortable. Our beds were warm and cozy. The location was beautiful and we walked everywhere and every direction. We would love to be able to spend more time here again one day. Thank you Daisy!
One of the most beautiful place in this world !!The heating system is quite hard to deal with. What brought a lot of times (day and night) in a cold house. Even with setting the heating on more than 2 times a day.
This cottage is everything it promises to be: comfortable, warm, clean, well cared for and in a perfect location. Access is straightforward and the directions very clear. The property owner was very helpful and resolved a minor issue with WiFi immediately. So much to do from the front door, including some swimming in the nearby little bay, about 15 minutes walk. If you have bikes so much the better. Would highly recommend this cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We had a wonderful stay at Daisy's cottage. It was cozy and comfortable with beautiful views and access to stunning hikes (Old Man of Stoer, the local beaches). Daisy was always available for questions or tips during our stay. The highlight of our stay was the trip to Handa Island (the drive along the single-track coastal road was a little harrowing; I would recommend driving through Lochinver) and taking a boat excursion to see the beaches and a seal colony from the perspective of the water. We even took a quick swim in the North Sea! Highly recommend this beautiful, well-appointed cottage, particularly if you're looking to get away from the rhythms of daily life and work. Thank you, Daisy!
What an unusual experience to stay in such a remote place. Our greatest pleasures were sitting on the outside bench watching life go by and all the remote walks we took. Plus…. the amazing piano! I played each morning to my heart’s content. Such a unique experience for a traveler to have music be part of their journey.
Thank you Daisy. I’d love to meet you one day. Judith and Stephen
We have just returned from this magical place ... We have had the quietest, most relaxing week..eating lovely food and walking in nature..beaches and mountain views to die for.
The location is very remote, a good 30 minute drive to find petrol so pre planning your supplies of food and a full tank is a must.
The house is so well thought out, everything you could need, a stunning view and very well apointed, warm and cosy. Daisy our host could not have been more helpful.
We loved it so much we did not want to leave. The wifi works well enough that the kids could play they're games when we were home. And we were still able to work a little, as we both run buisnesses.
Morning coffe overlooking the view out on the bench is a real 'must'.
We cant reccomend this place enough and will return .
Wunderbar.
Had a lovely stay here with my family. Very comfy place with a well equipped kitchen. Perfect base for exploring the beaches, walks and bike rides on the peninsula. Plus the lovely food (and more) in Lochinvar is only a 20 minute drive away, with Assynt mountains just beyond. Daisy was an excellent host and answered questions quickly. Highly recommend.

I am a mum of 2 and a professional Music Therapist working in special education, dementia care and an NHS hospital children's ward. I love the countryside and my family spend most of our time exploring nature. I am a keen photographer and enjoy walking, cooking and music. My husband, Nathan, is a classical pianist and composer which is why we have a piano in the cottage, both for us and guests to enjoy.
