An excellent location, Surrounded by fields of cows and a few sheep and occasionally a couple of horses.Situated next to a working farm where there's the odd farm noise, but it's at a reasonable distance not to bother you. There's a short walk to a stony beach, it's not really a sunbathing beach, but the tide noises are relaxing. The laundry facilities are in a utility room and the hot tub was excellent. The view is brilliant.I only put 4 stars on local amenities because it's at least half hour to a major supermarket (Sainsbury's) and the journey involves a lot of single track roads, however, you don't meet many other vehicles. There are plenty of touristy stuff, all within an hour's drive, or you can happily relax at the house and play the great supply of board games provided and there's a nice selection of reading material also.Plenty of rooms and a conservatory to relax in.From the window of the lounge, there are a few bushes with bird feeders and these attract lots of small birds. At many times during our week, all at once, there were far too many to count and all within a couple of metres from the window.Plenty of space for parking, possibly around 5 cars, at a guess.Red Kite feeding, Red Deer Range, Sandhead Beach, St. Ninians Cave and more, all within an hour's drive.
