Sun, gentle waves and starfish greeted us every morning. Kaibo and Rum point offered livelier experiences, and unexpected treasures like walking to the bioluminescent bay tour and a trio of playful sea turtles rounded out our escape. We were searching the property calendar for a return voyage before the week was even complete.

9C Kaibo YC

Condo was very clean and had most everything we needed. We loved the screened in porch and being able to walk right out our door and be on the beach- perfect for watching sunrise with a cup of coffee and relaxing at the end of the day with a glass of wine. The pool and hot tub were nice, but after a day of kids they were murky and not appealing. I would not call the beach out in front of the condo truly swimmable. You need water shoes to get into the water as it’s very rocky here. It also has a lot of grass just past the entrance area and because you are in a marina there are boats coming and going. There is however, a small sandy beach in front of the yacht club - very close. We drove to different beaches throughout our stay. It would have been nice to have some folding outdoor chairs and an umbrella to take with us to other beaches. It was a nice quiet end of the island. Starfish Point - walking distance with a sandy beach but everyone was getting stung by jellyfish- apparently this is an area they tend to be. We did get over to Rum Point they had a nice beach area and you could use their chairs and umbrellas. They also have a very nice outdoor bar and outdoor indoor restaurant and we found the food very good. Because it was spring break time the place became very quickly overcrowded and we chose to try and find other beaches. I think other times of the year probably it would be a little less crowded and more enjoyable. Over all a nice clean and safe complex to stay at.

We enjoyed our stay and were happy we decided on the North Side/ Rum Point neighborhood. The beach in front of the condo isn’t the best, but works for a quick dip. Having Starfish Point and the beach at Rum Point so close was great. Plus it was nice to have the Kaibo Beach Club just next store, though you definitely need a car here. The condo was very nice and we felt safe and comfortable.

Perfect stay

Immaculate place. Had everything needed- toiletries, hair dryer, beach toys. Couple minute walk to coffee shop and dock where we took the stingray and bio tours with white sands water sports. 2 minute drive to starfish point, although we saw more starfish out front of our condo. Don’t pick the starfish up out of the water- they will die!! Chisholm grocery store less than 10 mins down the road and it was open shortened hours on Sunday. Can’t really swim in the water outside the condo but a mile down the road there was a nice little beach at rum point. Would absolutely stay at this place again.

The condo itself was absolutely beautiful. Directly by the pool and a short distance to the restaurant. It was absolutely clean and had everything that we needed. I would absolutely recommend this condo! I will definitely be coming back to this place. The property manager was extremely nice.!

Good location, nice place

The condo was as expected, clean and convenient location the pool and to go to Kaibo(wood fired pizza on the beach). Short walk to starfish point. One issue in the evening and the manager was there in 10 minutes to take care of it(impressive).

Perfect Oasis

The condo was perfectly situated for relaxation. A pool, hot tub, beach, beautiful waters, Kaibo restaurant and coffee shop all within steps from my back door! We enjoyed beautiful morning sunrises with coffee every morning. The condo was nicely equipped, clean and comfortable for two couples to enjoy. Our host, Judy, even checked on us to ensure we were settled and had all that we needed. Also, we were conveniently located near some restaurants and other attractions as well.

Great stay!

My husband and I had a lovely stay at this charming condo. It’s spacious and equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. The water and pool were steps away, and there were more starfish in the water near the condo than at Starfish Point a close walk away. Great stay, would return! We took the water taxi over to Camana Bay one day and that was fun and an easy way to get to and back from 7 mile beach without a long drive. Definitely need a car but the chill vibe was just what I wanted. Thanks!

Relaxing vacation in paradise

We loved the peacefulness and beauty of Cayman Kai and the north part of the island. The condo had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Located next to the pool and on the ocean and next to Kaibo yacht club we were very relaxed! The only downside is the main grocery store (fosters) is a 45 minute drive away. Make sure when you’re in town and sightseeing that you plan to grocery shop. There was a local grocery store about 15 minutes away but it does not have much. Rum point was closed as they were renovating. We loved starfish point Beach which was walking distance from the condo. Very safe neighborhood! Judy the property manager was very nice and hospitable and the condo was very clean!

Clean and very relaxing

Had an amazing get away at this beautiful condo. Every little detail didn’t go unnoticed. Very much recommend this spot for a family or for someone looking to take it slow. The pool was our favorite spot!

February 2020 Stay

thanks for a lovely stay. The unit was very clean, well stocked with supplies including extra towels, washer/dryer, outdoor furniture, snorkeling gear and a full kitchen. The Kaibo yacht club is very close with delicious food and drink. During the day we also enjoyed the coffee/sandwich shop. People were lovely, especially Judy our property manager. Beware of airport taxis who ripped us off on way to the unit!

December 2019 Stay

Very nice place to stay. Condo was clean, nice linens, well-stocked with kitchen equipment. Location is a bit remote. 1/4 mile walk to Starfish Pointe, about 1 mile to Rum Pointe. We would definitely stay here again.

Off season

What a great property in a peaceful setting. We stayed during the off season (late September) so some amenities were closed, but we nearly had the place to ourselves. It was a great time and we would love to stay again.

Beautiful condo, great location, well equipped with lots of extras! Steps from the beach and pool, and the Kaibo coffee shop, bar, and restaurant were just a 2 minute walk down the beach. My kids are already asking when we can go back!

We loved being on this side of island. Unit well equipped. Judy responded promptly to all of our needs. Close to great restaurants and Red Sail Water Sports. Beach a few feet from unit. Absolutely beautiful spot. Will come back!!!

Excellent Property

The condo, pool area, and property were excellent. Amenities and excursion opportunities at yacht club were very convenient. Only drawback was rather small beach area.
