Beautiful stay

Great location and lovely little apartment. Only one bathroom but well appointed and great spot to be. We loved it (couple with two children).

An excellent stay.

Terrific location, convenient to major sights, museums, bistros, shops and river walks. Old heritage building with character, and the flat had all the necessary fittings. We would definitely book again.

Paris is always a good idea!

This apartment was centrally located and perfect for our trip. The property managers were readily available for our questions and had great suggestions to help us with our stay.

Wonder apartment and location

Excellent location and host

This property was very clean and the directions great and host available. Location was great . Only thing for a family with teens was that it was a bit small and made it hard to move around, but with the area so lively you don’t spend much time there anyway. Merveil was an excellent host.

Great Location

The property is in a great location, close to a lot of places of interest. The check-in process was a little complicated but I understand, they need to protect their investment. The lift was a plus.

Lovely apartment

We very much enjoyed our stay here! Location was perfect and we could easily walk to shops, restaurants and the metro. Beautifully decorated, quant building and quiet. The bottle of wine was a nice touch! Property manager was very responsive. We loved our trip to Paris and we would certainly stay here again!

Best if Paris

Could not have been in a better spot. Need to have some energy to get to the flat or take the mini elevator. Incredible spot in a historic building right in the heart of Paris: absolutely loved it. Would stay again for sure/

Great little apartment in central location

Great little apartment in central location. Full kitchen and washer was nice. Double bed tucked in small room/closet was comfy, as was the queen in bedroom separated from small living space by glass wall. Pull out couch was uncomfortable...as expected AC unit was noisy and needs repair. Could use more comfortable pillows. Overall a good stay.

Great location & property!!

This was a great rental for our week in Paris. Central enough to walk to all main attractions. Only note is the listing indicated 2.5 baths - it’s a toilet and shower (each with a sink) in 2 rooms. I’d call that 1 full bathroom, not 2.5. There is a washer but not a dryer (though washer appears to have cycle that nearly dries clothes).

Double booked

Our stay was at an alternate property because this one was double booked, even though it remained our booking via VRBO. The host provided an alternate apartment independent of VRBO but in a different neighborhood with no discount or accommodation for our inconvenience. The property we ended up in was nice but not what we booked and not in the desired location.

It was as pictured. The place was clean and spacious enough for the 4 of us. The washer is also a dryer if the correct settings are used (our clothes were dryer here than at other places with stand alone dryers). The shower was the best we had in 3 weeks of European travel (air b&b and hotels included). Convenient to metro. The lift is, as described, small and can only manage 1 person at a time with luggage. The stairs are a challenge as it is on the 5th floor. Overall we have no complaints and enjoyed our stay.

Great location

Overall, we’ve enjoyed our stay. It’s in a great location. Safe place. It’s within walking distance to many popular attractions. However, caveats are it’s on the 5th floor and the elevator breaks down sometimes, beds are not comfortable, and communication with host is rather difficult. Got some severe anxiety of not having our check in information until the DAY BEFORE departure, I wasn’t sure if my booking was secure. The host hasn’t responded to any of my questions since 2 wks ago so I felt the host has ghosted me and I might have been scammed out of my booking. Nevertheless, I called VRBO many times and they were able to connect me with the host but it shouldn’t be this hard to reach the host.Otherwise, we were very appreciative for a nice place to stay in Paris.

Great location

The unit was as viewed in the pics. The checkin process was great no issues and the location was great. For a family of 5 (3 teens) it was tight. The unit only has 1 bathroom not 1.5, the toilet and shower are in different rooms. The challenge we had is that the elevator was out of service (90+) stairs. Management said they weren’t responsible for the elevator which I understand but they didn’t alert us to it being out of service. Thank goodness we were all in good health. It was very challenging with luggage and doing the stairs 2+ times a day. If we would have been disabled or elderly we could not have accessed the unit.

The Perfect Parisian Apartment!

This is an amazing place to stay in Paris. You cannot find a better location - we were able to walk to the Louvre, designer shops, Notre Dame, Arc De Triomphe and many other attractions. The neighborhood felt very safe and we had a gorgeous view of it from the windows. The apartment is also decorated beautifully - while a small space, the owners did a fantastic job making the most of it. There are hooks and storage everywhere so everyone had places to hang coats, towels, etc. It was a little tight for all 5 of us with luggage, but definitely doable (we folded up the pullout couch during the day). Four people would be the perfect amount to stay here; but more is totally doable with small luggage. I also loved that the locks are digital so all five of us could come/go without worrying who had the key. The hosts did a great job communicating with us about check-in/check-out and gave wonderful recommendations. We would definitely stay here again! I have already recommended it to many friends.
