A tastefully renovated traditional Corfiot apartment in Campiello, the oldest neighbourhood of the town of Corfu (Kerkyra).
La Cantada, is part of “The Red Bougainvillea” residences.
It is perfect for groups and families up to 4, it is situated on the 1st floor of a venetian style building in the heart of the UNESCO world heritage town.
It has a pleasant balcony with views to a small quiet square.
The apartment features a fully functional kitchen, a private bathroom, air conditioning, WiFi, hair dryer, iron and laundry/drying machine.
It is located 2 minutes walk from Liston, the most popular "stroll" street of Corfu, St Spyridon Church, Old & New Venetian fortresses, St Michael and St George palace, various museums and Philarmonic bands. Have a walk around numerous turistic shops, restaurants, coffee shops and nightlife lounge bars found all around the town. You can also enjoy a quick dip at Faliraki also known as "Aleko's beach", a relatively small landscape with a platform, ideal for sunbathing.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Please be aware that during the summer months, the municipality of Corfu Town may temporarily interrupt the water supply usually overnight due to water shortages.

We do provide large capacity water bottles under the sink and smaller ones in the top drawer of the bathroom to help during these times.

La Cantada was absolutely perfect and the Red Bougainvillea team were the most welcoming hosts. The location is so convenient to all Corfu town has to offer. Charming apartment in heart of old Corfu town

THis apartment was everything we had hoped for. Filled with charm, but cleverly renovated for comfort, we loved our stay. Our hosts were wonderful to answer questions promptly and they went out of their way to make sure we could find our way around. Perfect place!

We had a memorable stay over Easter week. The place had everything we needed. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony and loved the easy walking to everything, cafes, shopping, parks, swimming etc. I would highly recommend this apartment. There are many stairs so not accessible to all but great exercise! We will be back!

Wonderful stay!

This is a wonderful apartment in the old town of Corfu. The apartment was well equipped and centrally located.The only thing that was lacking was a full length mirror! We had a wonderful time exploring the streets and eating in the many brilliant restaurants and cafes. I would suggest however that people with mobility issues need to be aware that there are lots of steps. We hope to be back!

The stay was wonderful

The apartment was really spacious and had everything we needed and more: balcony with lovely view, fast WiFi, two bedrooms, and a large fridge :). Check in and out were very easy. All in all, a great experience, we absolutely loved it and will be coming back.

Wonderful apartment in perfect location

My daughter and I stayed in the apartment for three days. It is beautifully designed and comfortable. And the location cannot be beat. It is steps away from all of the shops and restaurants in Kerkira. Yet somehow it’s perfectly quiet. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Spot

This is a very nice property! Very clean. Has everything you need...and more! Thanks for the wine and goodies...very much appreciated. Very close to everything. Little mini market just around the corner. We even walked to the ferry to go to Paxoi. It is a little walk but not bad if you have a roller bag. Very nice restaurants within walking distance. We really liked Salto, Arthaus, and A Mano. There are stairs but just one flight. Ευχαριστώ πολύ!

Fantastic apartment in the Old Town

Lovely, refurbished, modern, tastefully decorated apartment in the old town. Grocery shop just round the corner and restaurants within a couple of minutes of walking. Quite despite being so close to everything. Air conditioning was a god send in 36° heat. Faliraki beach about 7 minute walk but it’s very small. Swam at the beach in Mon Repo and took several day trips to other beaches. Plenty to do in Corfu old town and so many wonderful restaurants and cocktail bars. Truly great week. Would stay again

Beautiful stylish apartment in a great location

This is a lovely apartment in the old town, very close to the general hustle and bustle of restaurants and shops and supermarkets. The apartment is clean and stylish and the owners were helpful and easy to contact; I'd told them it was my daughter's birthday during our stay and they provided a birthday cake and candles for her - very thoughtful! Access to the property is fine if you're generally steady on your feet but be aware that taxis can't stop outside so there's a short walk (some of it up steps) to the apartment from where you'll be dropped off. Overall a lovely place and I would definitely recommend it.

If you are looking for a genuine Corfiota experience in a manicured and just restored apartment in Corfú’s Old Town you are up for a treat and can’t miss the chance. Every single detail in the apartment has been designed and built with taste and purpose. The location smack in the middle of the residential Old Town, is close to everything and everyone, whether you need groceries and vegetables, a bakery, restaurants or want to jump in the crystal blue sea (small beaches are 5 mins away). At night all becomes quiet and you can rest and get ready for the next adventure as you head to beaches and coves all around the Island. Beautiful apartment in Old Town

The Red Bougainvillea was a charming and beautifully redone apartment in the center of Old Town Corfu. Our family of three stayed there for 5 days in June 2023 and would highly recommend it. The apartment is very well equipped, with upscale appliances and washer/dryer unit. There is excellent AC for the warm parts of the day and evening, including a unit in the master bedroom and main living space. We found it to be a perfect location to stroll to the different parts of old town, and there is a market literally around the corner from the apartment to pick up food/drinks if desired. The communication with Lina was clear and prompt. She addressed all my questions quickly. Would highly recommend and have already told friends about it.

Highly recommend choosing La Cantada for your stay in Corfu. We were there for 8 nights and it was one of the best VRBO stays we’ve ever had. Here’s why (in no particular order):- Stellar location, minutes from everything and very quiet at night- Excellent communication by our contact, Lina, who was always available. Lots of recommendations for food, beach, activities, etc.- Apartment is gorgeous. Small rooms but very efficiently laid out. Decorations really nice. The photos are accurate, but it’s even nicer in person. Great space for a small family. - AirCon in living space and larger bedroom worked great. Bed is comfy. Shower hot and good pressure. - Nice touches everywhere. Two bottles local wine, fruit, shampoo and body wash, plenty of toilet paper. - Taxi cannot drop you in front of building. It’s a very short walk up a few steps, and Lina’s Google map link was perfect. - If you rent a car, parking is challenging. Get the car park app from your rental agency. The closest ones are P1 (almost always full) and P3 (on the water). Otherwise, it’s a 15-20 minute walk to other lots. - Apartment is up one flight of stairs. Only an issue if you have mobility problems. All-in, a fabulous stay on Corfu! Many thanks to our hosts.

A wonderful abode awaits you!!

La Cantada was the perfect place to stay. Located in a perfect spot in Old Corfu Town, you are literally close to everything you could imagine, including the port, bars and restaurants, the old fort, the new one and a myriad of shops among the laneways. Our arrival and communication with Lina was superb! It was fast, efficient and she was most welcoming. Upon entering our apartment, we were amazed at its beauty and we were welcomed with Corfiot sweets, biscuits, milk, jams, butter, fresh fruit, wine and large bottles of water in the fridge. There were plenty of bags for our rubbish, and washing tablets provided for clothes washing. They even had the aircon on for our arrival which was really thoughtful. The apartment was immaculately clean. The bed linen was clean, ironed and there were many beautifully plump and comfortable pillows on the bed. Various sized towels and slippers folded neatly at the bottom of our beds was a delight to see. Such attention to the comforts of home was very much appreciated. If you are looking for a home away from home, and that is how this place is described, then really, you can’t go wrong staying here.

Beautiful flat with the view of lovely streets of Corfu Town

Beautiful flat in the middle of Corfu historic old town, surrounded by cute local restaurants and shops, 5 min from the sea and small beach. Very clean and beautifully furnished, brand new kitchen appliances. We truly enjoyed our stay here, especially since it was very easy to contact the host.
