Perfectly positioned just a few minutes’ walk from the heart of Morzine, Blue Bird Lodge offers easy access to both the Pleney and Super Morzine telecabins, as well as the village’s vibrant shops, bars, and restaurants.
This beautiful six bedroom chalet combines modern comfort with Alpine charm. Guests can enjoy an outdoor hot tub with panoramic valley views, a private games room, and a relaxing sauna - ideal after a day on the mountain.
Spread across three floors, the lodge is thoughtfully designed for style and comfort. Expansive glass doors flood the interiors with natural light, while spacious bedrooms and contemporary finishes make it the perfect base for families and groups.
The main floor is the social heart of the lodge: an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area opening onto a sun-drenched terrace. In winter, it’s the perfect spot to relax in the hot tub under the stars, while in summer you can unwind with loungers, outdoor dining, a BBQ, and parasols.
Upstairs, you’ll find four ensuite bedrooms, each with a private balcony and mountain views. Three are flexible king or twin rooms, while the fourth is a generous family suite with a king bed and bunk beds. The remaining two ensuite bedrooms are located on the ground floor and offer the same versatile king/twin setup.
The ground floor is also home to the lodge’s leisure and utility spaces:
A spacious games room with table football, console, board games, and TV
A well-equipped boot room with heated boot warmers and plenty of space for skis or bikes
A separate bathroom with a bathtub
Laundry facilities with washer and dryer

We’ve lived here for over 16 years and run Mountain Spaces, a small independent chalet company offering three self-catered chalets, each right in the heart of Morzine.
Morzine is a place we never tire of. In summer, the mountains come alive with hiking trails, mountain biking, white-water rafting, swimming in alpine lakes, and endless family adventures in the sunshine. In winter, it transforms into a snowy paradise with access to the vast Portes du Soleil ski area - one of the largest in the world.
