Family fun

We were welcomed with a snack basket and even treats for the pup! Amazing house for family vaca! Lots of room to gather together or separate for a break. Very clean house with literally everything you could need, bring only a change of clothes! If you like the beach this is your place, it’s a quick walk away.

Wonderful vacation spot

This property was perfect for our visit. It's in a great location, with restaurants, a convenience store, ice cream and the beach all within two blocks. The house itself is lovely, well appointed with all the convenience and spacious enough that 8 adults and two older kids never felt cramped. I highly recommend this home for anyone with a larger group looking to stay near the beach

Great house!

We had a great long weekend. The house is beautiful with a great location close to beach and some restaurants. It was the best equipped vacation home we have ever stayed in - from the kitchen, to the bathrooms, to the beach chairs. We would definitely rent here again!

Super organized

Our stay was great! The house was perfect, was literally 5 mins from the beach/boardwalk and the hosts thought of EVERYTHING. Plenty of beach chairs, grilling space, beach badges, etc. It was so perfect for an easy beach weekend

Very nice property

Clean, updated, spacious, good location. We especially appreciated the refrigerator being stocked with bottled water. Parking would probably be tight during the high season but we rented in October and had no problems.

Fantastic beach house

We really enjoyed our stay at your house. Beautiful house, great space, livingroom, dining area, kitchen, back deck and all the bedrooms. Even the beach chairs and wagon to bring to the beach. It was a great family reunion!!😄

Wonderful weekend with friends

Debbie and Jared's home was spotless and had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend with friends. We appreciated how well stocked the home was with kitchen supplies, beach chairs and tags, and parking permits. The outdoor patio was lovely for brunch. The kitchen and living room were spacious for our 7-adult group. Close to the beach, too!

Girl's weekend for Celine Dion concert

Debbie and Jared were wonderful hosts. Their home is even more beautiful than the pictures, with great attention to every detail. It is spotlessly clean and every amenity you need is provided. The beds are super comfortable and the location of the house is perfect. We will definitely be back!

Cheer Competition Stay

We stayed 3 nights in Debbie & Jared's home for a Globals cheer competition at the Tropicana resort. In total there were 5 kids & 3 adults. The house was just as described with plenty of space for us. Communication from Debbie & Jared was prompt & very organized. I cant say enough great things about our stay. Coming & going was a breeze. Location was amazing. Could easily walk to the broadwalk & beach. There is a Wawa right around the block for little things & an ACME grocery store right down the street. Short drive to shopping & casinos. Will definitely rent again if we are back in the area. Thanks Debbie & Jared for allowing us to come from North Carolina & enjoy your home.

We are a family of 2 grandparents, 5 adult children and partner, and a 19 month-old grandson. We spent the week of July 3-July 10 at Our Humble Homes Ventnor Beach Getaway. The houses spacious and spotless, thoroughly appointed, with meticulous attention to detail and everything we could possibly need. The ground level suite was a bonus for my daughter and grandson, as it allowed them separate sleeping spaces while preventing his occasional nighttime crying from disturbing the rest of us. Most impressive was the homeowners’ thoughtfulness, as they left treats for our dog, outlet covers and other protective equipment for our grandson, wine, water and snacks for us. They even went to the trouble to send an email on Tuesday morning to remind us of weekly parking restrictions so that we could avoid a ticket. This thoughtfulness, as well as their prompt and thorough communication and overall warmth and welcoming attitude made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

They thought of everything! Labels everywhere!

This might be the best prepared vacation home I have ever experienced. Deb and Jared home was beautiful, clean, spacious and perfectly located for our group of 9- 4 adults and 5 children. Every detail was taken care of for us with perfect instructions- Parking, beach tags, chairs, cooking utensils, linens, etc. The whole house was well equipped and labeled very effectively. All this resulted in a fun and memorable weekend with the family. We look forward to coming back!

Fantastic Getaway!

After not traveling to Atlantic City since the beginning of Covid, we decided to go there again. From the minute we turned on this property's street, we knew we have made the right choice! This home is in a beautiful, quiet, SAFE neighborhood. (A big difference from staying in a casino.) We felt so welcomed by the hosts as there was snacks, bottled water, ice, and even a bottle of wine! The home has been beautifully decorated, and it has everything a guest could want. Easy to work TV's, nice dishware, comfortable beds, and both heat and air conditioning! Everything is within walking distance.....restaurants, essential groceries, and the beach and boardwalk! We found all of the restaurants had delicious food, too! Communication with the hosts was excellent, and we can't wait to return!!!

AC Futsal Tournament

A group of four families stayed in Debbie and Jared‘s home and this was hands-down, the best hotel/VRBO experience we have all ever had. Debbie left a basket of snacks with “Good luck” confetti on the counter. She truly went above and beyond! The house is absolutely immaculate (this is coming from an absolute OCD germaphobe). The home is in a well situated location to get around Atlantic City easily. It is also extremely organized and extremely spacious. Debbie was very communicative and easily accessible to get in touch with for any questions or concerns. During our stay, it unexpectedly snowed and before we even were awake, everything was shoveled for us , I would rate them 1 million more stars if it was available I could not recommend this host more!!!!

A must stay

Everyone should try to stay at this property if they have the opportunity to do so! Debbie and Jared have this home set up so you feel like royalty. You barely have to lift a finger; you just get to enjoy your vacation as soon as you arrive. This house came with plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, kid beach toys, beach wagon; not to mention bath towels, wash cloths, linens and super comfy beds. They have high quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash throughout all the bathrooms. Almost all of the light switches were labeled in EVERY room. Not kidding they even have an emergency fire ladder in one of the upstairs bedroom closets. They have thought of everything. Only about a 5 minute walk (if that) to the beach and restaurants. Plenty of room for our family of 10. My brother and sister in law brought their dog and Debbie and Jared had left special treats for him in a basket of goodies they provided. Will definitely be looking to stay at an Our Humble Homes again in the future!

Relaxing atmosphere!

We came to Atlantic City for a car show completion. Although this is a beach house, and didn’t go to the beach (winter)Our team stayed at this property, which had plenty of room for us all. The bedrooms and bathrooms were plenty, and the bunk beds are fill size and very comfortable. The kitchen was absolutely perfect. There was a welcome basket from Debbie and Jared on the counter. The back porch will be great for anyone who comes in the summer time, as well as the stocked beach items they have for guest usage! The basement is like another house and provides more space and privacy. The house is beautifully decorated and looks exactly as the photos shown. The owners were very attentive to answer any questions we had and kept in contact with us. The only CON I would have is on a more personal level and not of the fault of the owners. I slept on the couch while my husband slept in the bed. The queen bed was simply not big enough for the both of us, but he did say the bed was comfortable :) Maybe next year when we come to town there will be a king size bed in the master to accommodate a larger individual. Thank you for providing a great place to relax and cook a home cooked meal for our team after a long day at the car show. We took home a total of 11 awards!

The hosts thought of everything. They supplied all of the necessary products you could possibly need to begin your stay. Our stay was perfect. The home, amenities, proximity to the beach and local shops— and communication with our hosts were top notch. We had adults, a baby and dogs and the homes layout was perfect for what we needed. Baby proofing accessories and dog treats were the cherry on top! Very appreciative and highly recommended home. Just Wonderful

Jersey Shore Getaway

This was a great house for 2 families. Plenty of room for all and home fully stocked. Access to the boardwalk and beach was an easy 1.5 blocks with several dining options in the area. Not having to bring beach chairs or towels with us was a huge assist. Debbie & Jared did a great job updating the house and adding many amenities.

BEST Rental Property with EVERYTHING you need!

We can’t say enough about this awesome, clean, & welcoming home!! Debbie and Jared were amazing hosts. The house was in a GREAT location (one block from the beach, walking distance to restaurants, movie theater and there’s even a 24 hour WaWa a few doors down!) This was our favorite VRBO home we have ever stayed in and we can’t wait to go back again soon!

We are your hosts, Jared and Debbie, and we are so excited to invite you into our beach and mountain homes. We’ve been vacationing in the Pocono Mountains and at the Jersey Shore for over 20 years. Our children have grown up there. It’s our place to relax, spend time with family and make memories that will last a life time. After many years of renting we finally took the plunge and in the spring of 2017 purchased our first vacation home. If you are looking for a fun family getaway, we would love to share our homes with you!
