Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.

Town: Gorran Haven, on Cornwall's south coast, was formerly a crab fishing community and is now a great base for exploring the area's various beaches and bays. Gorran Haven features a small sandy beach behind a classic sea wall that connects to the wider Great Perhaver beach at low tide, making it a popular family beach. The National Trust owns much of the shoreline in this region, which is easily accessible from the South West Coast Path.
