Perfect Country Getaway to the Olympic Peninsula

PA Barn in its former life housed horse stalls and a hay loft until it was converted into a home and recently transformed into a wonderful living space with an open floor plan allowing an abundance of natural light. The 3 bedroom home retains some of the character and rustic charm of the original barn including exposed beams and the original staircase to the second floor that was once a hayloft now an open space holding one of the bedrooms and a large TV/sitting area.

Guests may also enjoy watching the deer on the two acre property as well as the mountain and some water views. There is also several apple, pear and cherry trees to be enjoyed when in season!

PA Barn is a natural jumping off point to Olympic National Park, Hurricane Ridge, Ediz Hook, Lake Crescent, Sol Duc Hot Springs, Olympic Discovery Trail, Sequim and Victoria, British Columbia. We’re a half mile from the ONP visitor center and a quick five minutes to downtown Port Angeles.

About Dan and Janet

Dan grew up feeding and caring for the family horses in the PA Barn. The PA Barn was converted into a living space several decades ago and recently updated.

                                            • **Non Smoking **No pets The stairs to the second floor loft bedroom/TV area are a the original staircase that went to the hay loft and are a little steep, may not be suitable for young children or anyone that may have difficulty maneuvering stairs. Celings on the main floor are 7ft, some of the exposed beams hang down to around 6ft.

                                              We loved our stay in the PA Barn. There was plenty of room for our family of four and the house had everything we needed (and more). Lots of cozy blankets, games, and a very well stocked kitchen made for a great stay. We had easy access to shops and restaurants in town and SO many great natural areas to explore nearby.

                                              We spent four days, three nights in PA visiting family. We did not want to stay in a hotel and pay for multiple rooms. This was an ideal solution and such a well thought out home. Amenities were wonderful and such a clean and comfortable environment at the right price point. I would definitely recommend this property.

                                              We absolutely loved our stay in the PA Barn this weekend. The barn was lovely and a comfortable place to rest after our days of adventuring in Olympic National Park and Salt Creek Recreation Area. We would definitely stay here again if we come to Port Angeles.

                                              The location is PERFECT. It's just around the corner from the entrance to Hurricane Ridge and downtown Port Angeles (maybe a 5 minute drive). And every single morning we woke up to see deer right outside the window.

                                              The house itself is amazing. It's obvious the owners put a lot of thought into the design: the bed linens were amazing, the bathroom was beautiful and even had great shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and the kitchen drawers were meticulously organized and had everything we needed during our stay.

                                              We would definitely, definitely stay at PA Barn again, and recommend it to friends and family.

                                              Just returned from a 3 night stay here. A very charming place, exactly as advertised. Nothing fancy, but everything seems new and well-done. Really comfortable furnishings and beds, and nicer decor than many other VRBO properties we've stayed at. Kitchen and bath were well-outfitted (except we could've used a teapot and a toaster). Pay attention to the low ceiling beams if you're tall (like us), though -- easy to forget and bump your head. A great base for exploring the Olympic National Park. Thanks so much!
