Welcome to Paradise on the Beach, Unit 1005, @ Surfside Resort 2bdrm/2ba in Destin Florida, we have a private beach, with complimentary beach service. Also, where you will enjoy a relaxing and stress-free vacation. Sit on the spacious private balcony for your morning coffee, watch the amazing Sunrise's or watch the many Dolphins swim by in the emerald, green waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

You want to see a beautiful sunset/sunrise? You're challenged to find another as beautiful as the ones you will experience in Florida! All the while sitting on your own balcony without a single care of the daily "grind"

This is not your usual shotgun floor plan. (Each room allows for entry onto the balcony without disturbing any other occupants in the unit.) Open concept floorplan.
This unit sleeps 8 people

The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, a ceiling fan, with a large lighted closet & a makeup area, and a connecting bathroom with a walk-in shower. Flatscreen TV, DVD player. All linen is supplied.

The guest room has two full sized beds, a ceiling fan, with a large closet and its own connecting bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo. flatscreen TV, DVD player.
All linens are supplied.

The kitchen is fully equipped. A breakfast area with a table and 2 chairs with a view of the gulf and a Snack Bar with 3 stools in the kitchen.

The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa. and 2 chairs. Flatscreen TV, DVD player and iPod player.

The dining room table seats six. With mirrored walls from ceiling to floor.

Need to wash that beach wear? Sure! This unit is equipped with its own washer and dryer. In case you can't completely get away, this unit boasts wireless internet at no additional charge.

Surfside Resort has inside air conditioned and heated hall corridors and outside covered parking

Located on the first floor of the resort are several amenities. A fitness room provides any individual the opportunity continue with their workout schedule

Hungry, how about the onsite restaurant, Royal Palms Grille is a family friendly with several menu items, ranging from seafood to hamburgers.

How about an afternoon cocktail outside pool side? The Tiki Bar outside serves food and drinks,& we also have a Beach Bar on the on the 1st floor of the beach tower weather permitting.

Sports enthusiast will love the outside tennis and basketball courts, volley bar and shuffleboard courts also beach volleyball. With a sauna to aid those aching pains. There is plenty of room to sunbathe with a large sun deck out by the pools.

Watch gorgeous sunrises or sunsets from Surfside's legendary Beach Tower with picnic tables while you sip your morning coffee or enjoy your afternoon beverage.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was really nice, minutes to the beach(walking), scenic views. Condo had everything you could need. Owner was very responsive and eager to ensure we had a great experience.

Check in was smooth and easy, the place was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped and all supplies were abundant (a rare treat in a beach rental around here). The view is amazing and we enjoyed watching the waves every morning over breakfast. We are already looking to plan our next trip!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Millie was very quick to respond with any questions I had. The condo was very clean and smelled so good when we walked in. The location is very convenient to the beach and restaurants. Brett was also very kind when setting up the umbrella and chairs. I would highly recommend staying here.

There aren’t enough words to express our love for the property. The view is spectacular. The property is clean and has activities for all ages. Perfect location and easy access to the beach. Millie is an amazing host with a beautiful condo.

Great location, responsive host

The condo was in the perfect location, great views, and in a very safe building and area. The host was so responsive and extremely communicative - probably the best I've ever had in my many stays with these types of booking sites. The layout of the unit was perfect for families or 2 couples, the pictures are as described. There were some minor things I thought could have been a deeper clean (dusty lamps and a dead fly in the shower) but overall a really nice place and I would return!

Great location

We loved the location, great views. It was nice having the on site restaurant and beach bar as an option and just across the road from the beach. The property in general could use some maintenance work but was all functional and nice enough. The pool was shaded from about 2:00 pm on…made it a little chilly for afternoon swimming. If you plan to cook in, you may want to bring a skillet. We made do but cooking for 5 in a 6 inch skillet is challenging! We did have one issue with the a/c and maintenance was there to fix it immediately. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Fantastic property, beautiful view, convenient location, outstanding owner!

Surfside is amazing and has all the amenities anyone could be looking for, in a location that is right across from the beach and very close to shopping and restaurants. Millie was great to work with and very friendly (even though she and were dealing with a hurricane (Ida) during our stay! The unit is well decorated and has a tremendous view of the pool down below and the Gulf right across the street. Highly recommend Surfside in general and this condo and owner in particular!

This property was great! Very spacious. You have a wonderful view of the ocean. The restaurant is very good and the bar on the beach has great drinks. The only issue I had is check out was 9:30 am.

The perfect beach getaway!

First off, I would consider myself someone who has traveled quite a bit and it was one of the easiest check-ins I’ve ever done. Front desk knew exactly who I was and I had my parking pass and wristbands within a couple minutes. The room was very clean and exactly like the pictures. Room is on the side of the resort but you still get a great shoreline view with the sun rising right outside your bedroom window. You are within a mile of anything you may need with a great restaurant attached at the bottom of the resort. The beach is perfect and Millie has two complimentary beach chairs and umbrella ready on the beach instead of paying for them! Millie was great throughout the entire process, we didn’t have any problems at all but I know if we did that she would be quick to resolve any issues we had! I highly recommend!

Millie and Tommy we live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Destin is our second home. Our family has been coming to Destin for years to vacation. Destin is so beautiful, we just love the area! So, we decided to purchase our own personal unit in 1994. We looked at several condo's, but I absolutely fell in love with Surfside. The design of Surfside is different than any other high rise resort in Destin. It's a very unique building. Every room has sliding glass doors that open onto a spacious balcony/patio with unobstructed views of the GULF OF MEXICO.

Why they chose this property

We've owned our unit since 1994 and every year, fall more in love with our second home! Surfside is a family oriented resort with many amenities for an entire family to enjoy. We decided to purchase 3 rental units at Surfside because we truly take pleasure in providing such a fun, relaxing atmosphere for other families. We enjoy the area so much, that we spend every one of our summer's in Destin. One look at the beach and the beautiful waters of the Gulf, and you will understand why Surfside is such a staple in our lives

What makes this property unique

Inside Hallways, Restaurant on-Site, Hair Salon, Massage Therapist , and Fitness Room,
Outside eating as well. Sports Deck, and a Wedding and Party Venue all on the 1st floor.

Each room had a sliding glass door that opens up to the balcony. Washer & Dryers inside the unit.
Surfside has a private beach and is the only condo that a Sky bridge that takes you to one of the worlds most beautiful beaches.
