The house was located in a nice location a little outside of the main part of Dingle, which made walking into town for meals and drinks very convenient! The host, Douglas, was very communicative and helpful — he was prompt in answering my messages and sent a lovely list of restaurant, pub, and excursion recommendations. The house fit our travel party of 6 nicely, with each couple getting their own bedroom and bathroom. The main living areas were spacious and welcoming. However, there were several people in our travel party with allergy sensitivities and asthma/other respiratory concerns, and the home was overall very dusty and had several areas that had mildew and moisture which caused mild discomfort for them. After leaving the windows open for a day or so, the home’s mustiness improved and the allergies/asthma did, too. Overall, the home was a lovely place for a large travel party to stay; however, the cleanliness and moisture in the home is something to consider for more sensitive travelers.

We're sorry to hear that some members of your group experienced allergy-related discomfort during their stay. We take cleanliness and property maintenance very seriously and, following your review, we carried out an additional inspection of the house. We did not identify any mildew or mould issues, but we appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention. We continuously review and improve our housekeeping and maintenance procedures to ensure all guests have a comfortable stay, and we thank you for taking the time to share your experience.
