Lovely, spacious, well-equipped farm cottage. Easy walking access to some stunning beaches at Carbis Bay and Porth Kidney. Friendly hosts, friendly farm dogs, farm eggs… We loved it!
Lovely, spacious cottage.Extremely well-equipped. The hosts had decorated with 2 xmas trees, one real...fantastic touch, plus wine and fresh eggs ! Good location too.We had a fabulous Xmas here. Would highly recommend.
Lovely stay in Carbis Bay. Property was ideal for us with plenty of room and all the facilities needed. Phil and Jacquie were very helpful and friendly. Would certainly book again.
The property is spacious and well-equipped. It is a unique property with hens, guinea fowl and horses is close proximity (fresh eggs a bonus). The location is excellent as you can walk into Carbis Bay and on to St Ives along the coast.

Excellent
We had a very pleasant stay. The property was clean and comfortable, and we were welcomed by the owners. I would recommend it to friends, and would definitely come again. Thank you.
We had a lovely stay in the property. We were warmly welcomed by the property owners and the house was a great size for our holiday base with all the necessary amenities.
The kids liked seeing the chickens and horses each day and we liked the peace and quiet at night.
It’s only a short walk to carbis bay but certainly better walking down than back up the hill.
Overall we had a lovely stay and would recommend.

Warm cosy with a modern twist. Very clean and comfortable.
Well placed for exploring the southern tip of Cornwall. Carbis bay is a beautiful small beach and has a train service into St Ives. Phil and Jacquie were very welcoming even leaving a bottle of wine, milk and biscuits. Children would love the resident horses and chicken's and our dog was made welcome.
Would highly recommend.

Thank you for staying with us we are happy you had a good time and enjoyed our local beaches and restaurants
Cottage was lovely, owners were brilliant and helped when needed, nothing were too much trouble, allowed us to check in early, the cottage is spacious, kitchen well equipped with everything we needed, great location just short walk to the beautiful Carbis Bay Beach and train station to easily get into St Ives, kids loved all the animals on the farm, the only thing I would say is it is need of a deep clean but overall a wonderful place. Thank you to Phil and Jacquie

Full of character and charm.
The location of the property was brilliant, close to lovely Carbis Bay and bus and train services to St Ives and beyond. The owners left a very welcome gift of wine and biscuits and there was milk and tea. Other essentials were also supplied by the owner. The owner met us on arrival and told us to tell him if there was any problems. He was very friendly and approachable.
The property was very clean, light and airy.

Falsely advertised
Overall the house was generally clean but it really needed a spring clean. The location was good but it is advertised as having a hot tub but it didn’t and although it is a two minute walk from a Spa it is in no way connected to the Spa as the Vrbo suggests.

Dear Louise - thank you for your review, your comments are taken on board, we note you believe there was a hot tub at our site, to clarify, this has never been the case and has never been advertised as having one, we did make reference to Una Spa which allow day guests, however never intermitted we are connected with them.
We will ensure that our cleaner is made of your comments.
Property needed a deeper clean Alot of cobwebs in corners and around ceilings. The coffee machine hadn't been cleaned from a previous use had old mouldy coffee grounds in the basket.
Nice farm area with chickens and horses. St Ives itself was a bit lacklustre.
Myself & Family just stayed for a week in this beautiful cottage.
It was very spacious for a large family, immaculately clean, and everything we needed.
We thought it to be great value for money.
The manager of the property Phil is a very helpful chap and very sociable.
He very kindly brought us over freshly layed eggs from the farm.
It was lovely waking up every morning to the sounds of the Roosters and sitting on the balcony watching the 2 beautiful horses in the paddock.
Thank you phil & Jackie for a truly wonderful experience.
There wasnt anything not to like, we had a great time and are looking forward to going again next year.
Quirky cottage with upsidedown arrangement - bedrooms on ground floor and living area, kitchen above. First impression was a little dark but actually a lovely place to stay. Large living room, spent lots of time on the balcony with fab views out towards Hayle, and could see everything happening on the farm. Garden is small but big enough to play with the dog, and lots of fab walks right from the door. Phil was so helpful, always checking to see we were ok, even helped mend our car! We regularly walked to the beach (25 min), hill back is steep but all proper road and pavement so not really a problem. Carbis beach is beautiful, not as crowded as St Ives. We walked to St Ives around the headland one day, less than an hour from the cottage, and took the train back. Such a relaxing holiday, a week was not long enough!
A well furnished and very well equipped cottage in a lovely setting. Everything was comfortable with a friendly host who even gave us eggs. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
This property is in a tranquil farm setting with gorgeous views over the cornish countryside from the upstairs balcony. A great place to chill and sip your morning coffee. Owners are really helpful and can't do enough for you.All in all a fantastic place to stay
We had a great week in the cottage , it’s in a good location just 10 mins from the lovely Carbis Bay beach (although all uphill on the way back)
The family loved the Farm vibe and particularly the very friendly horses just outside our fromt door.
The cottage is what we expected from the pictures and very comfortable, the only thing I had a tiny complaint about was the bed size , just standard double beds so not great if you’re used to bigger, although we knew this before we went so doesn’t reflect in the rating I’ve given.
If you want lots of space great location at a reasonable price then this is for you, if you want everything sparkling and new then choose somewhere else. This is a traditional cosy Cornish farmhouse, Phil is fab and his chickens lay the best eggs. I have no hesitation to recommend this cottage to any of my friends and family and look forward to future visits
Btw can’t beat a BBQ and a sing along after England beat Germany 2-0 fab night
Beautiful accommodation with everything you need. Location is great
This property has everything you need. The owners are very friendly and always around if you need anything. Had a great week and would definitely come back
