Beautiful Country Beach House in Laie, Hawaii. Our Spacious property has all you need for your extended family retreat. Located on a gated oceanfront property our guests enjoy privacy and seclusion. The highlight of our property is its oceanfront location. We have provided all the toys to enjoy the ocean to its fullest too. With Standup Paddleboards, Surfboards, Kayaks, Boogie Boards, and snorkeling sets you'll never run out of ocean activities. Lots of beach toys for the little kids, and chairs and umbrellas too.
The house was designed to be spacious for large groups and multi-family gatherings. We are also well equipped to host small events including, weddings, graduation, and birthday parties, etc. The kitchen is large, spacious and open. The large great room is the perfect indoor gathering place for everyone to wind down and "talk-story". Our spacious beachfront lanai (patio) is the perfect outdoor gathering place to take in the fresh air and ocean breezes.
The Yard is huge and open - perfect for all to enjoy many types of yard games. We have soccer goals and balls available, a volleyball net available to set up, bocce ball, frisbees, footballs, and even some kites to fly on windy days. Just give us a heads up before arrival and we will arrange any of these activities for your group.
Our spacious beach deck sits atop the beach and ocean. With provided loungers, sunbathers have the perfect spot to take in all the sunshine. Beachfront sand can be seasonal and affected by tide levels and ocean swells.
Our bedrooms are also very spacious, well designed and equipped for families to room together.
World-class popular beaches are all within a minutes drive:
Pounders Beach less than 1 minute drive (5 minute walk) - perfect for bodysurfing and boogie boarding.
Hukilau Beach is a 2 minute drive and is a great spot for the whole family to play in the water.
Castles Beach is a 4 minute drive and is the perfect "learn to surf" spot and we've got all the gear you need to start surfing - beginner or experienced. Property manager will even take you out for a surf or paddle lesson if requested in advance.
Within a 10-20 minute drive is the iconic North Shore where you will find popular beaches Waimea Bay, Sunset Beach, and Pipeline to name a few. Watch world class professional surf contests in the winter months, or hot sandy beach days during the summer.
A 20-30 minute drive south you will find the amazing attractions of the windward side. Chinaman's hat, Kualoa Ranch, Kailua Town (Lanikai Beach) and more.
Your Private Beach house in Laie is ideally located and central to all that North Oahu has to offer.

Family legacy

Spacious house and green space that easily handled our family of 15, including 7 children under 13 yrs. Fantastic private and protected beach. The owner Noah was most accommodating and provided a large variety of watercraft and recreation toys. Located in a quiet part of Oahu. Very good value for the cost.

Beautiful oceanfront but the house is in need of upgrades

The pictures of this property in the Home-away posting are false advertising. The house has lesser-grade furniture, no window treatments and very few wall hangings. The appliances are worn and rusted. The house was not cleaned adequately. The only positive things are it accommodates large groups and the beach is gorgeous.

Amazing ocean front and View

Noah was very responsive and helpful with early checkins, suggestions, etc. Property location has amazing view, but very windy and cloudy on our visit in Feb.. Laie is a dry town. No sand beach when we were there, despite photos. Nice sandy beaches close drive away though. Very nice large living room dinning room and Kitchen, all open with amazing view. One of the stairs to water is hazardous for kids or unsteady adults. A railing would be very helpful. Very nice deck for sunbathing and ocean watching. Lots of water toys for adults and kids. Some windows non functional from corrosion. A/C units were very helpful when humidity high and for sleeping.

We loved Hawaii! We loved the location, it is a great sleepy area. It's a small town environment, which for us was perfect. There was no beach at this time, which we had planned on. We did make the most of the cove, and saw some fantastic fish while snorkeling. If you are looking for "city" this is not the area for you. We do not mind driving, and uber does pick up in this area. I was a tad disappointed with the cleanliness of the home, but not enough to panic 😄. Overall very enjoyable ❤❤

Our family had a wonderful time at this vacation rental. It’s an open concept. The view was spectacular. The only downside was not having screens on the windows to enjoy the trade winds at night. Thank God they had Air-conditioning in each room. Noah was awesome, he even came by on Sunday to fix the sliding glass door. I highly recommend this vacation rental.

Perfect for groups

We have a group of 10-15 people and this place is perfect. This is our second year coming and everyone loves it. Everyone can get a bed and there’s a good amount of parking too. There’s 4 bathrooms in the house which helps so much with the large group. Noah is super helpful and answers immediately if we had any questions. I highly recommend staying here.

Amazing home on the beach. Very family friendly. Reef in front and there is calm water for the kids and safe! Lots of beach toys. Paddle boards , boggie boards, snorkel gear , etc and a trampoline and a Hugh grass play area. . Kids loved it house is well equipped for all. Hope to come again!!!!

Dale's Review of Laie House

Our family of 15 had an exceptional and most lifetime memorable stay at Noah Garfield's property on the "private" beach at Laie. Noah was on the ball with answering questions and his willingness to assist. In his absence his neighbor Kylie was available. Even though we did not require her services, she was a very special person to meet, as well as her niece. Noah also had all the "toys" available...kayaks, boogey boards, paddle board, snorkels, soccer nets, volleyball net, and even a corn-hole setup. He had snacks available as a welcoming in the foyer upon our arrival. The kitchen was well supplied with plenty of plates, pots, pan, eating and cooking utensils. We had everything we needed. As a 5 year old, I used to go with my mother to her hula lessons in Wahiawa. I learned to dance the Hukilau, which I just learned is based in the history of Laie. With my dad playing the ukelele, she would hula dance at parties, etc. until her death in 1999. On the beach one evening I saw 3 professional hula dancers practicing with their ukelele player. They were staying next door for a family reunion. I told them my story and they invited me to dance the Hukilau with them. Awesome memory! A previous post mentioned "holes in the walls." The holes were an empty space in the master bathroom for a missing medicine cabinet.. The cabinet wasn't required for us, as there are 2 sinks and plenty of counter space. This is true even with the good size magnifying mirror he provided on the counter. The other "hole" was in the walk-in closet. Even so, we had plenty of space to hang our clothes without any concern. It is apparent the area is being remodeled.Other minor issues are visible, but one must assimilate and immerse one's self when in Hawaii. "Hang loose" and relish the blessing God has bestowed upon you for a visit to paradise. None of these issues were even a slight concern to the six adults or nine grand kids.. Our family visit to Oahu was magnanimously magnificent! With true Aloha, Dale P.S. I was born on the other side of the Ko'olau Mountain Range in Wahaiwa in the late 40's but have lived in Ohio for the last 45 plus years..

Perfect family beach house!

Our family of 13 had a fabulous time staying at this beach house on “bathtub beach”! There is tons of room inside and out, kitchen very well equipped, lots of water toys like boogie boards, sand castle building supplies and even soccer goals. The beach is quiet and safe for kids and right at the foot of the house. We hope to return!

What a Place!

Just an amazing time here! This spot really felt like our private piece of paradise for the week. The Beach is just amazing - pretty much our private beach! The view from the master bedroom every morning was priceless. Huge grassy yard to run and play. Comfortable, Clean and spacious home. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back. My extended family of 15 enjoyed everything about this home. The best part, and most important part, was the location. The beach is private and has a great place for snorkeling and kids to swim. We enjoyed the various "toys" available (including kayak, paddle boards, etc.). We even tried surfing just down the beach from the house. The house if perfect for several families. The grounds are just amazing

When we first found the property on Home Away, we fell in love with the proximity to the beach, privacy of the beach and the open grass area. When we arrived we were not disappointed. We were met by Noah at the gate, who is very friendly and kind. He opened the home for us and as soon as we stepped into the home, he opened the back doors and we felt the cool breeze flow through the house. We all just stood there, in awe, at just how beautiful the view and grounds were. The kids were so excited and started running all over the vast grassy area and wanted to jump in the water right away! The home is spacious and fit our whole family of 16 comfortably. What's also awesome is that the house was equipped with beach toys (kayak, paddle boards, etc) for us to use and we definitely took advantage of it! This home is also a short distance to PCC and the Hukilau Marketplace, which we also visited. We loved staying here and will definitely return!

I can't say enough great things about the views! The views were so lovely to wake up to and watch all day. The house was clean. The kitchen was stocked well. I was disappointed to find the hammock in the photo was gone. I've never lived on or near the ocean, so I was rather surprised at how harsh the elements are on the interior of a home, from wall plate screws rusting out and light fixtures corroding from the salt in the air. The house can definitely accommodate a large group.

We were all so happy we found this property. The beach... what more could you ask for! This property is the only house with access to this beach from what we could tell. It was paradise to wake up to each morning and go swim, snorkel, play in the sand without having to pack up a car and drive somewhere. The house has a large and spacious yard, well cared for green grass. Noah provided our family with some fun toys and games, soccer goals, kites, spikeball to name a few. We spent hours with our kids and grandkids just playing outside. The house is open, clean, and spacious too. Everything was just fresh about it. I was really impressed at how clean and organized the kitchen was. Made it easy and comfortable to prepare many meals seeing as we didn’t go out to eat much. Everyone else was happy with the bed and bath setup, and found the house comfortable and clean for adults and kids alike. Just so lucky we found this place, and we are all talking about plans to come back. Thanks Noah.

Wish we had more time here!!!

Our friends told us about this place and that we had to stay here if it was available. It was only open for 3 days of our 8 day trip to Hawaii. They were the best 3 days though and we all were kicking ourselves we didn’t find it sooner so we could have stayed here the whole time. Everything was perfect for our family. House is open and spacious for our large family to gather together. The green grass yard is amazing. Thanks for the soccer goals - our soccer playing kids never found themselves bored when we need to pry them away from the beach. And the beach... what more could you ask for. Where else can you snorkel, fish (well attempt to fish), swim, boogie board, kayak, all that beach stuff in a private setting, within steps of your backdoor? Right here!!! Thanks Noah. You made the stay perfect for us and we will be back - next time for longer.

Nearly perfect

This property is exceptional. Exceeded my expectations on many levels. Very well-stocked. I would have given it 5 Stars except that not all of the light fixtures work. Some of them were critical. Like in the utility / laundry room. We had to keep turning on the bathroom light to do the laundry at night. Also, there is one dangerous feature. The stove. Only one out of three burners work properly. And that one is tilted. The rest give you a shock if you use it. A suggestion to the owners , since the property is listed for 16 people a second refrigerator would be great. Otherwisr it reallyi is an exceptional property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
