The Lake Cottage is a detached single-storey cottage in a wonderful position by woodland and a lake, in the grounds of Middleton Hall near Belford. This superb property has a king-size double room with en-suite, a double and a twin. There is a family bathroom, and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner. Outside is off road parking, along with a patio with furniture, and use of the estate grounds with lawns, woodland and lakes. The Lake Cottage makes a superb base for enjoying this lovely part of Northumberland.

TV with Freeview, Blu-ray, DVD, CD, DAB radio, iPod dock, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburning stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available. Off-road parking for 2 cars. Lockable bike storage. Enclosed lawned garden with Wendy House, swing, slide and sand pit. Shared surrounding lawned areas with patio, furniture, barbecue. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1.5 miles. Note: There is an unfenced lake near the property. Town: The picturesque Northumberland village of Belford lies in the heart of Heritage countryside, midway between the popular walled towns of Alnwick and Berwick-upon-Tweed. The pretty coastal village of Bamburgh, with its sweeping beaches and dramatic castle, is only a short drive away. Belford itself is an old coaching village with a pleasant square and offers a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. It is ideally placed for exploring the Northumbrian Coastal Route, Cheviots, the renowned Northumberland Coastline and the Scottish Borders. The opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from nearby Seahouses, is not to be missed. Alternatively check the tide times and cross to Holy Island to visit the historic Lindisfarne Priory.
