6 Bedroom 9+ Acres Spacious Waterfront Lodge ,1500' Lake Frontage/Boat Launch

The Lodge at Pelot's Bay, North Hero, VT is a quiet and secluded year-round family lodge nestled on a dead-end road with 9.5 acres and 1500 ft of lake frontage offering breathtaking sunsets and lazy afternoons catching fish and frogs. This lodge has 6 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, sleeps 14-16 people, suitable for large family groups, small conferences and business gatherings. Layout is open with the kitchen, dining, living and entry areas defined in one "great"room. Floors are birch hardwood and ceramic tile. Bedrooms are carpeted. Great views of the water from almost every room! Lakeside bedrooms (4) have individual balconies overlooking the bay. The house faces West with a gentle sloping lawn to a fine shale beach and is very gradual and safe for kids. Lakeside features open decks and a large rustic outdoor stone fireplace by the water, and also another open firepit area next to the gazebo for enjoying those s'mores! They taste great using Reese's Peanut Butter Cups!
The fully equipped renovated kitchen is the real deal, tailored for culinary adventures, a haven for guests looking to whip up delicious meals during their stay. The living/dining/kitchen area offers stunning views of the lake.
Pelot's Bay is very sheltered and perfect for year-round recreational activities like ice fishing, summer fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, boating or simply lounging on the shore with a good book.
There is ample dock space for several boats and pleasure craft, and they can be launched right there at the beach! There is another dock located at the end of the point with beautiful sunset views!

Please note: 4 lakeside bedrooms with queen beds, 2 roadside bedrooms each with a full size and twin-size bed. Sheets & towels are available for a small fee. You MUST have a bedsheet covering the mattresses for sanitary reasons. Pillows, blankets and bedspreads are provided.

Please note: Weekend bookings low season are considered for 6 people, 3 night min. Extra charge of $35/per person/per night applies over 6. If total rental exceeds weekly rate then weekly rate applies. Contact us for this discount.

Everything was fantastic love the spacious kitchen and dining room and living room. I think there should be curtains or something to cover the sliding glass doors to block out the hot sun because there’s no ac and it was extremely hot inside house. We couldn’t swim in the lake due to the munk and stuff in water , but our grandson loved the fishing. We went to a beach close by and kids enjoyed themselves there. House was very accommodating for our group and we all enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Will be back.

The property was as advertised. It had excellent views of the lake and was very convenient to and from the lake. The kitchen was newly renovated and had all the amenities you could ask for and then some. The living room/ family room was spacious and comfortable and connected to a large deck with 2 grills and plenty of seating. The house was very clean and had many extras. I highly recommend it and we will be back there next year!

We are a multigenerational family of 12 that vacations together once a year. This was our first year in Vermont. This house was perfect for us. Plenty of sleeping space with comfortable beds, the main kitchen/living area is large enough for all of us to be together, and the outside area was beautiful. We fished, swam, kayaked, and just enjoyed being together. This house was perfect and the host, Roger, was wonderful. Highly recommend

Holiday Gathering

We all had a great time Gathering as a family. House was big enough for all of us. Well stocked kitchen with two refrigerators and very new 5 burner gas stove that was very nice. We did however miss the ability to use that huge beautiful stone fireplace during our 4 day stay.

Girls trip 10 year reunion

This property is very nice and the location is beautiful. And within driving distance of the bigger cities. You can go out during the day and come back to a relaxing evening around the fire. Plenty of firewood provided. We had 9 ladies this year and there was plenty of room for all. I had one of the bedrooms facing the bay and it was lovely to wake up to such a lovely view. Plenty of hot water for showers. Kitchen is roomy and up to date. well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans, dishes. We had a great stay and the host, Roger, was easy to reach and always responded to my questions. Wouldn't mind returning some day. wake up to the biew.

Summer vacation on lake champlain

A ton of good things to say about this property. House is amazing. Tons of space. Yard is great. Area is great. The only negative is that the beach area on the property was very weedy. The owner tried his best to help us by manually removing some weeds along with bringing in a machine to help remove some of them. While this did help, it didn't change the fact that the entire bay was choked full of weeds that really hindered a lot of things. The owner did say it was in part due to the heavy rains this season but I can only comment on what I encountered. Absolutely great place to stay as long as you know the beach area may be a negative if you have people who are worried about swimming in weeds.

Wonderful Stay

Another Great Stay!

Another great stay at Pelot Bay Lodge. Our group of friends have been coming for years and enjoyed the new kitchen as well as the new beds. Nice upgrades to the property contributed to another great week on Lake Champlain!

Lovely spot for family and friends reunion

We booked a long weekend for the Eclipse with 6 couples — family and friends. The house was perfectly designed for this with six bedrooms and a huge common area and deck overlooking the bay. Due to some unanticipated kitchen improvements that were needed at the last minute, Roger moved heaven and earth to make sure the property was ready for us. Roger and Janet are owners who really care about their property and making sure their guests have a great time.
