Brunate, known as the “balcony over the Alps”, offers a tranquil atmosphere and spectacular views. The funicular connects the village to Como in a few minutes, making it easy to explore the historic center and the lakefront.

Great stay high above Como

It indeed ist a sun terrace with a great view over Como and the alps. The funiculare brings you without complications to Como and back up the hill. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

The pictures on the website showing the amazing views across Como with the big terrace and the cool rustic apartment made us choose this place. Apart from dragging our suitcases up all of the steps (which we knew when we booked it), we had a fab time here. It was a super relaxing place to hang out but also easy to jump on the funicular to get down to Como for dinner, a boat trip etc. there is a small shop and various restaurants in Brunate to get food from. We cooked at the apartment when we didn’t feel like going out. The communications were really friendly and the response times good. We had a fab stay here and would recommend it. A*
