I tocchi finali sono completi. Gli aggiornamenti includono nuova cucina personalizzata con contatori di cemento e elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile, nuovo bagno con cabina doccia e tutti gli aggiornamenti generali generali. Accogliente casa di 2 camere da letto si trova direttamente sul fiume Kokosing pensato per tradurre dagli indiani Algonquin e significa "Fiume dei piccoli gufi". La cabina è a breve distanza dal Kenyon College, dal lago Apple Valley, dall'Ohio Amish Country e da tonnellate e tonnellate di grandi parchi, sentieri escursionistici, piste ciclabili e caccia. Grande pesca al largo delle banche nel cortile sul retro. Numerosi animali selvatici diversi tra cui aquile, falchi, visoni e cervi. Kayak e canoa forniti per il vostro uso. Grande ponte per godere di vista sul fiume, doccia esterna e vasca da bagno (pronto per l'uso quando il tempo collabora). WiFi e TV via Internet su schermo piatto da 42 ". This was our second time staying here and we had a great time. This is one of my favorite places to stay! Its perfect for our family! We love the location and amenities. The house was clean and wine and pumpkin bread were waiting for us. Everything you need is already thought of for you! Love the labeled lightswitches! So helpful!

Highly recommended this location and hosts!Very clean and well kept, updated and accommodating peaceful location on the river.Watched the hawks and eagles along with sunrise/sunsets and other wildlife off the huge deck while in the hot tub.We will be returning, thank you!

This is the second time we have visited the cabin for our anniversary. And as before, we really enjoyed our stay.The house was very clean. Beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed the complementary pumpkin bread and bottle of wine.The views were exceptional. The greatest improvement we found from the last time was the steps to the river. It made fishing and getting into the river, so much more easy.The only downfall, of course, is the traffic noise but honestly, after a while, you don’t even pay attention to it.

Wonderful Stay

The cabin was so nice! Everything from the hot tub, the outdoor shower, and the swing beside the river was PERFECT! The bottle of wine and pumpkin bread was an added and nice suprise! Thank you for a wonderful getaway spot!

The only complaint I had was not the owners fault, the road it is on is VERY busy with a lot of fast moving loud vehicles going by.The property was gorgeous and very pet friendly.

We had the most amazing time staying at this charming cottage on the river for our sisters' trip! From the moment we arrived, we could tell the hosts put so much care into making sure their guests have an unforgettable stay. They truly thought of everything — from insect repellent and coffee filters to a sweet welcome gift of a bottle of wine and delicious locally made pumpkin bread.The location was peaceful and beautiful, right on the river. We loved tubing, fishing, and relaxing in the hot tub while soaking in the scenery. The cottage was cozy, clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed. You have everything you could need from a grill, kayaks, tubes, fire pit, hot tub and comfortable beds. This was the perfect place for us to reconnect and unwind. River front gem

Great little cottage lots of things to do river a walk down from cottage. Hosts were great to work with. Had everything you needed and then some!

Beautiful get-away

Check in was very easy however we passed the house getting there. That could have been our maps. Everything you could possibly need was there and then some. The extras were beyond fantastic. The only reason I gave four stars to cleanliness was because there was something in the hot tub. They messaged me back immediately and sent the cleaner out. Turns out it was just a little piece of deck paint. Not a big deal. The only reason for four stars on location was because the main road was very loud during the day. There was almost no traffic there in the evening and it was extremely peaceful. Of course we used the hot tub and took the kayaks out. The wine and the pumpkin bread were just fantastic! Very attentive hosts. Definitely would recommend.

Nice stay along the river

Was clean and had everything you would need. Nice fire pit and hot tub, with a short walk to the water in the back yard. Was easy to get to, and a short drive to restaurants and stores. Everything is exactly as advertised.We were especially surprised at the complementary pumpkin bread and wine left for us to start the weekend. That was definitely a first for us of all places we've stayed throughout Ohio.

Short, serene getaway

Had a pretty amazing week here with the wife, kid, and dogs. Sunsets on the back porch from the hot tub were incredible. Fully enclosed back porch was very helpful with the dogs. Overall the place was very baby and dog friendly.

Very relaxing

The property was as advertised. It was on a lazy river which was a wonderful backdrop for our hot tub sessions. The cabin was clean and well appointed. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return in warmer weather in order to take advantage of the kayaks.

Great weekend retreat

A fun, simply laid out, fairly private, well kept, up to date place that would be easy to spend alot of time at. The closed in porch and backyard made it easy to keep tabs on our dog. The hot tub was wonderful, the big firepit on the porch got plenty of use and the nice section of river behind the property I can see being tons of fun when its warmer. Excited to come back sometime

Relaxation by the River

The cabin is very cozy and inviting. It's in a beautiful location along the river and felt secluded, even though access to stores and restaurants was not far away. It felt like a nature retreat. I wish I could have enjoyed the deck, hot tub, and view more. Unfortunately, it rained the entire weekend. My arrival was very warm and welcoming. Low lights were on, instrumental music was playing, and the owners were kind enough to have some lovely complimentary items waiting for me. Communication was responsive and thorough. Everything is well stocked and easy to locate thanks to very thoughtful labeling and instructions throughout the cabin. It is very apparent that the hosts wanted their visitors to feel at home. I certainly did. I really loved my stay and found it very relaxing. I would be happy to return in the future and hopefully be able to enjoy everything it has to offer.

We were married in 1995 and are from the local area. We currently reside in Apple Valley so this cabin is just a short drive enabling us to make sure that your stay goes without a hitch. While we own several rentals in the area this is our first vacation rental. We often use VRBO when we travel, which we do often. I have been a full time REALTOR with RE/MAX and have been licensed since 1987. Sue manages the books and any other areas that need attention with our many ventures.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

This property came up at the local foreclosure sale and I fell in love with it!, My wife not so much. This was a very big project and there is not 1 square inch of this place that we didn't touch. It was a lot of fun seeing my wife warm up to it. My wife is known to have very particular requirements in any place we stay. Our friends have all told us that once I can get my wife to stay here it is ready for the public; my wife now loves to stay here. Its just a short trip from our home but feels like vacation.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

River, river and river. This cabin is great: really comfortable inside and nice enough for a girls escape, family fun, romanic coupe time, or mens fishing/hunting trip. A super clean river like the Kokosing running through the back yard just makes it! Super large deck, outdoor shower, great access to so much, all adds to the value. The river and newly added hot tub just have a way to ease all of the tensions of the "daily grind".
