About Vacay Nola Team
Local New Orleans citizens, we love all things historic and architectural. This area is filled with art and history. The Arts District is a little known gem mixed in with the French Quarter and Garden District. I LOVE this part of town. Why Vacay Nola Team chose Warehouse District
It has a great mixture of culture. There are art galleries right outside my door. Food from some of the best celebrity chefs to newly founded pop ups. The River is only a few blocks away and so are the Super Dome and the Convention Center. This is the place to be. Oh, did I forget to mention the Saint Charles Streetcar line is right outside the building too?
What makes this Condo unique
Quiet historic part of the city. Transportation is a cinch! Museums, Art Galleries, and restaurants are nearby and the French Quarter is just a short walk away.
Beautifully renovated historic home!
We were very impressed with the quality of this unit! Top notch quality fixtures, lovely decor.
The booking --> arrival --> checkout process couldn't have been easier. Everything was ready for our arrival, even though we arrived late in the evening on a Saturday.
The location was ideal... close enough to French Quarter to walk, but not so close that there was a lot of commotion or people hanging out. Street car is right outside, making access to the Garden District easy as well.
My only complaint is the amount of noise in the master bedroom. It's a big issue if you're like us and plan to spend late nights on the live music scene... street car noise aside (which is not insignificant) , St. Patrick's Cathedral is three blocks away and starting it's bells tolling at 8:00 am, and tolls every hour. On Sundays, it starts at 7:50 am and it tolls for TEN MINUTES straight! I'm a heavy sleeper, but there was NO sleeping through those bells.
If you're ok with early wake up calls, this condo is great! Or maybe just bring some earplugs! ;)
I attended a nursing convention with 2 of my colleagues and this condo was perfect for us. It is within walking distance of the convention center and the restaurants in the area were amazing. Emeril's restaurant is only 3 blocks away and the sushi restaurant Rock and Roll is a must when staying there. The Condo is close to everything that you would want to do and it is comfortable and beautifully decorated. If I return I would definitely choose to stay there again.
Thank you for the great review! We would love to have you stay with us again.
Great place and location
We had a great time in New Orleans and this place was great. Very well decorated and in a great location right on the trolley line. The only negative is there was a lot of noise in the master bedroom. You could hear everything that was going on outside. Maybe a big box fan for a little white noise would help.
This condo is absolutely gorgeous and well laid out for privacy for two couples. It is well decorated with nice kitchen ware and essentials for cooking which we did one night.Nice linens towels and adequate paper essentials; Gatorade, water coffee, creamers were a nice touch. The king bed was too soft but that’s just preference Check in was just a phone call and using your own phone digits for the doors was great!
We loved the outdoor deck space immensely; great place to relax after a day of touring.
One of the things we liked the most was the Location. It is on St Charles so you can catch the trolley right outside the door or just walk down to the tourist zone , which we did. Nice to not b clos to the craziness of Bourbon Street. The King bedroom is noisy at night if you have any sleep issues; 2nd bedroom was super quiet.0verall , this is a great property and highly recommend it to anyone visiting NOLA
Great location and ambience!
We really enjoyed our stay at the unit in New Orleans. Great location and fantastic accommodations (clean, modern). Right on St Charles St with streetcar stops + easy walking to French Quarter and river front / convention center. Service was great - will definitely use again when in NO!
One issue - the mattress on the sleeper couch is not really suited for sleeping on more than one night - either needs to be replaced or a separate topper / air mattress needs to be made available.
Clean - Well Appointed and great location!
Have stayed here before, and always enjoy the arrival to our nice clean condo in the Arts District! Located for a nice walk to the French Quarter, or catch the St. Charles trolly UpTown, Garden Disctrict, Zoo, etc.!! Great restaurants, and a super grocery store right around the corner. Will always look to stay here given the opportunity. Go Saints!!!
We are conveniently located near shops, restaurants and transit lines. We are near the parade route for Mardi Gras!
