While this property photographs beautifully, our experience did not match the premium expectations set by the listing due to several functional and maintenance issues.The furniture lacked stability; the tub chairs had wonky legs and the dining chairs felt precarious. In the kitchen, dry food storage was very limited, cupboard doors were misaligned (one missing a handle), and the tap was partially broken (with a note saying a replacement was on order). We did not use the oven or hob.The bedroom layout is impractical for a family. The master suite features twin single beds and the only smart TV in the property, while the second bedroom has a double bed without a TV. This forced us to choose between a double bed or having T.V and en-suite access. Additionally, a poorly installed shower floor strip caused the en-suite to flood with every use, requiring constant squeegeeing to keep the floor safe.The location should also be addressed. The apartment sits directly across from a council refuse depot. While there were no odours despite the hot weather, a lorry convoy departed every weekday morning between 4:15 am and 5:30 am. As residents who live near a railway line, we are used to noise, but this woke us daily.On a positive note, the location serves as a good base for Boscombe beach. The beach is lovely, sandy, lifeguarded, and pleasantly uncrowded compared to Bournemouth, which was also not very far away.
