Maranacook Lake spans Readfield and Winthrop: Newly renovated home with 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 2400 square feet of living space. The entire downstairs 48' x 14' is a large kitchen, dining room and great room with large windows and sliding glass door to take full advantage of the awesome lake view. 125' of waterfront with new 4' x 40' dock. Large deck within 40' of the lake. Patio with fire pit and Adirondack chairs. Kayaks, Paddle Boards, Canoe, and two picnic tables available for use. Furnished with 1 king size bed, 1 queen, 1 single with trundle, and a bunk bed, our home sleeps 4 adults and 4 children comfortably.

A beautiful place we plan to return to. We enjoyed all of the amenities of the property and community. Our son and his family live in Readfield so we have been coming every August since 2010. This is by far our favorite place. Beautiful location, lovely home with everything you need and more, comfortable and warm. The weather was beautiful, we all enjoyed hanging out on the dock, swimming, fishing, lobster and more. A grand time was had by all.

Idyllic Lake Getaway

Gorgeous lakefront property - immaculate and updated home with all the amentities and essentials for a relaxing and effortless vacation. Great Lake house

Really beautiful well maintained home on a gorgeous lake! We had a ton of fun all week - the nature is unparalleled (frogs, turtles, a snake, bald eagle, etc etc), the water was so inviting even despite some cloudy days, really quiet part of the lake away from most boats. Grateful to have found this spot!

Lovely end of summer family lake week

Amazing week at the lake with our 8 and 6 year old kids. We kayaked and swam ALL day and truly enjoyed the fully equipped house! Full kitchen and bbq for all your cooking needs plus a fire pit for as many s'mores one can eat. Thank you Todd for all the hospitality.

Absolutely amazing stay!

This home is absolutely beautiful with amazing water views and access! Todd was a pleasure to deal with and was on top of things when we had questions. The lake is stunning and very peaceful and it was nice having the dock to put our boat. The paddle boards and kayaks were nice to havea well. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need and the counter tops are beautiful and there are plenty of coasters provided to preserve them so I hope that guests will use them to help maintain the counter tops. It was so nice to be able to stay in this beautiful home! Thank you Todd and family!

Trip for 8 guys to do bass fishing in Maine

Enjoyed the house and outside amenities. Very spacious and kitchen was great. Did find the upstairs toilet needs to be updated. Just doesn’t flush properly. Some electrical outlets needs to be checked out. Was an issue for our needs. Overall a great place and owner. Would definitely like to rent this property again. Thanks for everything

Just amazing

We've been coming to Maine for over twenty years and everyone said that this was easily the best place we've stayed for a number of reasons. The house was clean, tidy and very well equipped, far beyond our expectations. The dock, kayaks and paddle boards were in really good condition and were used every day except the one day it rained. The lake itself was fantastic. The part near the house had all sorts of areas that were easy to explore with the more intrepid family members heading down to the lower half of the lake, a good hours paddle away. The local amenities are also really good, with the local market pizza being a firm favourite and a Hannaford supermarket only 4 miles away, making stocking up on more ice cream nice and simple. Thank you for letting us stay here.

Not what I expected.

The picture by the dock showed crystal clear water. That quickly changes to mucky, reedy water. Three of us were not comfortable swimming in the water. The refrigerator and pantry were full of partially used items and open bags of snacks. The owner seemed perturbed that I complained, but there was little space for me to empty our cooler. After discussion with the owner, I threw out every thing that was opened except the condiments. He arranged for someone to pick up the trash the next day. The home is well equipped with everything one might need. The watercraft were a big hit. My grandson enjoyed the paddle board. Fish are plentiful right off the dock. Most of our time was spent fishing and making memories.

Extremely clean/accommodating owners

Spacious and very well lit room to accommodate 8 friends to stay inside and scrapbook. Heat was turned up remotely the day before so was warm and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here!

Weekend stay for family wedding

Wish we had more time to enjoy this wonderful house. Everything we needed was there! So much fun playing shuffleboard and sitting around the fire pit. Lovely view of the changing leaves from the dock. Love listening to the Loons and the Geese flying over. Would have used the canoe if we had time. There were no mosquitoes at the time we went but the screen house was nice too!

Great Lake house!

Loved hanging around on the dock and kayaking and using the stand up boards. Beautiful location. Lovely house. Kitchen is amazing. Not far from a lot of great Maine towns that we wanted to visit. Highly recommend.

We absolutely love this place, it’s makes for a perfect family vacation. Water is so clear and perfect swimming area. The house is so comfortable to stay in. Todd is great to work with and we hope we can keep coming up here!

Amazing!

We had a great time in Readfield. Can't say enough about this property. Kid's caught pike, bass and sunfish, played on the dock and float, roasted smores, played badminton and volleyball, kayaked, paddle boarded all day log and then had an awesome house to go back to. Thank you Todd!

Vacation Heaven

This was the second time we rented this amazing lakefront property! The pictures of this beautiful house truly don’t do it justice!! You will find everything that you need in the very well stocked kitchen. Comfort throughout the house for all who are lucky enough to stay here. The view is outstanding! Todd is fantastic and is always available if you need to reach out to him. Without question, this is my families favorite vacation home. We had an amazing week!!

Amazing

We had the best time and would recommend in a heartbeat. Great communication with the owner, the property itself is beautiful, and it's in a great location (only 20 minutes to Belgrade and Augusta; a little over an hour to Reid State park, Freeport and Old Orchard Beach). We spent hours down by the lake on the dock, roasted marshmallows by the fire, and took day trips on cloudy days. The kayaks and paddleboards were also so fun. We had a wonderful time. Thanks Todd!!

Has all the amenities for a group of friends to have a great getaway!

My group of 8 friends rent VRBOs 2x a year to get together and scrapbook and this has been by far the best place we've stayed at and will be coming back! It's spacious and clean and the lighting is great to work on our projects. We were here early spring so didn't get to take advantage of the beautiful lake, but anyone coming in the summer will certainly enjoy all the outdoor amenities for sure!
