We had an excellent trip to the river! The house is conveniently located next door to the convenient store, so ice refills and last minute needs or beer runs were a breeze. Quick walk to the Kenneth Arthur/Second Crossing, but it's not super accessible with only one small rocky entrance. Bring limited items or strong people if you want to hang for a few hours there. The river was running low and slow, our group entered at 7 Bluffs for the float. I would have liked more information about the parking passes and the private property area access near 7 Bluffs - but I could have easily reached out to the host, she was very responsive and helpful. The house is beautiful and was the perfect size and space for our group. However, if you have elderly family members or those with limited mobility, it can be a little challenging due to the stairs and slope. TVs are not a focus, so if you have kiddos that need them, bring their tablets. I appreciate bringing our own sheets, especially since the home is pet friendly. But providing our own beach and bath and hand towels took up a lot of additional space in our vehicles and seemed a little unusual compared to other homes I have booked previously. If you are picky about your cookware, utensils, or drinkware, bring your own - the items provided are used and abused by lots of folks throughout the seasons. Lots of fans were WONDERFUL! Keep the bedroom doors closed throughout the day and the oscillating fans on - you're welcome. :)
