Spectacular Sea Views near Tropea and Pizzo

This one bedroom unit is fully equipped with all you need for your Calabrian beach getaway. The breathtaking view from the balcony allows you to see all the splendor to explore plus the peaceful pool area. Two air conditioning units ensure comfort, a washing machine affords convenience and light suit cases. All you require is the right motivation to get you to all of what Calabria and southern Italy has to offer.

Space

Our cozy apartment is fully furnished with a balcony overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, where you can enjoy a glass of wine while taking in spectacular sunset views. The setting is a gated community of 24 apartments and 11 villas in the Southern Italian hills of Calabria.

Guest access

Guests can access all aspects of the apartment, which include a full kitchen, washing machine, balcony with sea views, sofa bed, beach equipment (chairs, umbrella, etc,.) and the magnificent pool which is about 4 feet deep (great for a swim and perfect for children, with supervision).

Guest interaction

We are happy to interact with guests online or by phone. However, this is our holiday home, so a management company is responsible for the keys, directions and any local inquiries you may have.

Neighbourhood overview

Tropea (10min by car) is our favorite beach spot with a sandy area and clear blue water. A short walk up to the iconic church (Santuario di Santa Maria dell'Isola) is a must, and the city of Tropea is a short climb for a gelato and a stroll through the maze of lively streets.
Pizzo (20min by car) has its own splendid beach coastline and is a charming city where tartufo was created!
Reggio Calabria (1.5hours by car) is the most populated city in Calabria and boasts castles, museums and archeological sites to visit. Sicily (2hours by car and ferry) also accessible for a day trip from the apartment is a whole other world to explore.

Getting around

A car is recommended.
The Zambrone train station is less than 1 kilometer away.
It is a 15 minute walk to the nearest grocery store, however the incline back to the apartment may be strenuous for some.

Other things to note

We recommend a car as our location is safely tucked away from main cities.
Tropea is a 10 minute drive away, while Pizzo is about 20 minutes by car.
The Zambrone train station is a 16 minute walk and connects you to local coastal towns as well as the Italian train network where you can further explore the country. The unit is on the second floor and there is no elevator in the complex.
