The Oropendola
Birders delight -beautiful rainforest home -2 bedrooms /1 bath -TV/wifi/. Kitchen has fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, gas Hot water, inside washer/dryer and fans. This unique sits at the bottom of the Gaital mountain, has incredible views, gardens, mineral tub straight out of the mountain and a nature trail by the Anton river. Follow the trail for great birding morning or evening or just sit on the your porch and watch the magic. Wild pheasants, toucans, falcons, motmots and many more roost on the property. Only 2 cars on property /extra people or dogs will be charged extra $50 each extra unless other wise stated. 2 houses far apart on property if you have a big group. Ask for details.

El Valle has its own banks and ATM’s for your convenience. Plenty of grocery stores including El Rey. Visit the Sleeping Indian, Cloud forest, Canopy ride, Serpentarium, thermal springs, butterfly house, Painted rock, zoo, go horseback riding and a great place to go is slot canyon (crystal clear waterfalls), ride the bus system( a good cheap way to see El Valle), indulge at the local spas. For food, Doña Nella, La divina, Angus burger or (Casa de Lourdes RESERVATIONS REQUIRED). Small local restaurants are everywhere.
Get fresh fruits and vegetables at the fresh market and take a peek at the local arts and crafts area at the center of town. It is open daily and extra venders come on the weekend.

Birders paradise plus awesome place to relax and be as loud or quiet as you like since there is quite a bit of property. Great place to hike, see so many birds, plants and enjoy nature. Dry season brings on so many fruits, plants and flowers to fascinate those who appreciate the rainforest.
