Frank is a very good host. He is very responsive and even brought us some crab. The only downfall is the neighbors who are continuously watching us and even came over to complain about us backing up towards their yard when we were not even close to their property. We worked it out with them, but other than that, we had a great time. We liked the game room and the cooking area outside, which has propane and cooking ware to cook crab. Would recommend if you have a family.

ATV trip to Oregon dunes June 2025

This was the second time my brother and I have stayed in this house on a trip to the dunes. The house is well located, clean, lots of room, has everything needed, and has lots of parking space. Access was easy, the host Frank called and gave us the code the day before. Will stay here again if it’s available when we book our next dunes trip.

Stayed here from Jun 09 - Mon, Jun 16, left on the 17th.What can I say--- very nice home to stay in and plenty of parking even if you bring a trailer as I did. Very clean and fun experience to include very spacious. We only used one bedroom , the dining area , living room and the kitchen. Everything you need. Must see and stay to appreciate. Frank Stone the owner; very friendly and great on communication . Very impressed.Next year we will stay again!I should of took pictures of the inside.. a great place to relax after our show each day during the Reedsport Divisional Chainsaw Carving Event,, Only 4.9 miles away!Oh -- and lots of little hummingbirds!!My thanks to Frank! Quilt Retreat

We would definitely stay here again. There were some issues, oven was dirty, towels left in the dryer (we thought we were short of linens), clean dishes left in dish washer, can opener is rusted and didn’t work. The twin beds are meant for children not adults. Overall, this rental was a good value for the price.

Pictures don't do it justice!

This place was amazing and the pictures don't do it justice. There is actually a bedroom off of the game room that has a bunk bed with a queen on the bottom and twin on the top and another twin bed with a trundle bed under it. The game room also has a brand new couch that has a fold out queen size bed in it. This isn't including three bedrooms with three queen beds. In the living room there is also three recliners and a couch. On just the beds you could sleep 12 people! This house was centrally located, near restaurants, stores and the crabbing doc. Not to mention only a couple miles a way was the Oregon dunes. The older couple that owns it were super sweet. 10/10 highly recommend. The kitchen was loaded with all things needed to care for our kids and make dinners. Its not a brand new house but it is a quality home that has been taken care of it. The big table could sit 8 people. There was also an outside covered area to BBQ.

Ideal stay by the Bay

I picked this place because it could accommodate a largish group of people coming a long way for my daughter’s birthday. I was nervous that it might not be big enough, but it was perfect. The house is a block from the bay, which was perfect for those who wanted to fish. There’s convenience and bait stores right around the corner. The kitchen was big and well-stocked, the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable, the den was big, and best of all, the game room was great entertainment for everyone. There’s a covered patio with a grill for cooking the day’s catch (which we didn’t get a chance to use). All-in-all, it was a perfect stay.

Annual Crabbing Trip

This is our 4th or 5th year staying at this house. We absolutely love the house and location to everything. Frank is wonderful to deal with. Highly recommend this house to anyone looking.

34th Girl's Getaway

We have stayed at a lot of different homes during the course of our 34 years of vacationing together. This is the house that has best fit our needs. The house is spacious and sleeping arrangements are great for all eight of us. The host, Frank, is an absolute pleasure to work with and it has been lovely dealing with him these past five years.
