This will be a popular gathering at the beginning and end of each day filled with Deep Creek adventures.

The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to make delicious meals at home when you are not trying out local restaurants. With plenty of seating at the breakfast bar and dining table, this is a great opportunity to share tasty food and lively conversation as you reconnect with family and friends.

Unwind in the main level primary suite with a four-poster king bed and TV that will keep you completely comfortable. The main level bedroom with a queen bed and a TV promises a restful night's sleep.

Upstairs, the roomy loft expands your living space. You can hang out and watch your favorite team on TV or deal a hand of rummy at the card table. There is lots of seating, so everyone can find a place to kick-back.

When you are ready to retire for the night, the two upper level bedrooms are well-furnished for a good night's sleep. One offers a king bed and the other a duobunk and twin, and both are outfitted with a TV.

Lazy days summer days are best spent lounging in the sun on the deck with a cold drink in your hand. You can host an afternoon barbecue or take a soothing soak in the outdoor hot tub under starry mountain skies.

DCL Fun

Excellent rental in great location and quiet neighborhood. Very clean upon arrival and nicely organized with everything we needed. Super place to enjoy with family and friends. We hope to go back for another stay.

Fun Family Vacation

The house was comfortable and well-equipped. We appreciated the proximity to DCL State Park, hiking trails and shopping. We did find the patio door a bit hard to slide open, but enjoyed spending time outside/in the hot tub. Neighbors were friendly. The daily visits of deer in the surrounding lawns were entertaining. Would certainly recommend.

Perfection!

Some kind of wonderful was incredible! This was our first time to Deep Creek! The house was as amazing as advertised. The location was great and close to everything! We will definitely be back and would recommend this property to anyone! Thank you!

Exceeded expectations; great stay

We were very impressed with our stay. The layout of this house was perfect for 5 teens and two adults - the teens got the upstairs and the adults the main floor. The fireplace added a lot of ambiance, the hot tub was enjoyed by the teens, all the rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and 3 full bathrooms was great. The kitchen is beyond fully stocked with cookware, bakeware, dishes, and appliances. The teens loved the assortment of games upstairs. The house is in a lovely little community, not far from the main road and a grocery store, restaurants, movie theater, and shopping. Wisp and the state parks area a short drive. We had a snowfall and the snow removal crew was very quick to clear the roads in the development, even taking great care to ensure no parked vehicle ended up with a pile of snow behind them. We would stay again.

Not worth the money

Had to call and be put on hold for 10 mins because I never received my welcome email, I contacted the owner as well and didn’t hear back for several hours.Once we got in I had to run a dirty dishwasher, sweep the kitchen floor, clean the master bathroom floor because the floor around the toilet was extremely sticky. I had to put garbage bags in all the cans and the sliding glass door was broke. We had 1 towel per guest for a 3 night stay and I brought beach towels for the hot tub. So I got to do laundry the entire stay. Cable is awful, you get barely any stations. Kitchen has no cabinet space for food so everything has to sit on the counters and the knives were so dull, made it extremely hard to cut steak. Positives, bed were comfortable and house was spacious, close to a lot of things, had a nice deck and had a grill we could use..

Great style

This home was a nice craftsman style and felt like mountains/lake. Sadly, there was no paper towels, toilet paper or dishwasher pods. We could have AT LEAST been told to bring some. Who wants to go to the grocery store while on vacay? Also, there was one bath towel per each of the 6 adults provided, nothing for the children. So for a 4 day stay at the home, we each had one towel and half of us had to share with a toddler. 😳 Again, we could have been told to bring extra if there were shortages in the home or the rental agency. We feel like we paid extra thinking we had a nice place with at least the basics. Not so much. The table was super sticky wood that badly needs resurfaced. The house itself was a nice layout and nice decor. Very busy neighborhood with lots of traffic coming and going but that is part of being close to town. 😊

In spite of a few problems . . .

We had a great time enjoying our small 4 night family reunion in spite of a few problems with the house. Most importantly, the internet didn’t work (even after a technician came) and a few of us were on working vacations. And Verizon had bad reception here but AT&T worked fine. The rooms were very comfortable and the doors pretty much soundproof which was great since we had 5 kids, 6 and under, with varying bedtimes and nap times. The kitchen was well appointed with nearly everything needed to cook. And the back porch with railing was great for easily containing small ones. All in all, a great place to stay if you don’t require internet access.

Really nice with one exception

The property is nicely laid out and decorated, really well-stocked for food preparation and serving, and the location is quiet and close to the lake and the state park. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow, and check-in was a breeze. Overall everything was great except the DVD players did not work and I was sort of horrified to find that none of the mattresses were fitted with protectors or covers. DVD players weren't a big deal because we have WiFi and streaming, but the lack of mattress covers freaked me out. Maybe it's an irrational fear, but where I live bed bugs are a huge issue and I don't think I have yet stayed in a hotel or VRBO without whole-mattress zipped bed covers to protect you from dust mites, bed bugs, stains, etc. Also, when I stripped the beds at the end of the stay, I could see faint stains where previous people have sweat or whatever, and that sort of grossed me out. For what it's worth, we did not get bed bugs so there was no infestation. Just feel like it was an oversight.

Very nice and very clean

We had an amazing experience! We went for just a few days over Thanksgiving and enjoyed the relaxation of it all. The house was very clean and cozy. The kitchen was stocked with PLENTY of dishes and cooking supplies. The wifi worked well, although it did occasionally drop and then come right back in. The hot tub was a hit with the kids and the lights in there were fun for them! The neighborhood is very cute. The houses are close together but we never heard anything. Would definitely recommend!

Perfection

We had a great stay here! The house is beautifully decorated and equipped. The floor plan of the upstairs was great. It gave the boys a space that was all their own while we had the downstairs to relax. The neighborhood is beautiful and friendly. It is within walking distance of ice cream, restaurants and the lake. Highly recommend and we will be back. Thank you for letting us stay.

Great spot for winter weekend

We took our family to Deep Creek to ski and snowboard at Wisp and this house was quite nice. We had six people and there was plenty of room. The fireplace was a hit with everyone after cold days on the mountain, and it was a well-appointed, very clean space with a well-stocked kitchen (we ate in sometimes and out others). The houses are fairly close together but we were never outside (except for the hot tub - A+) and it seems like a very nice little neighborhood. We also like the options in Oakland that we otherwise would not have known about - the pizza restaurant and grocery store just down the road were really perfect for our family. We would definitely return and recommend it for others!

Amazing girls weekend

The home was exactly as described in the rental details. It was very clean and accommodating. I had been to deep creek several times and never stayed in this area so I was concerned about the location, but I was actually perfect. Tucked away in its own little community not far from restaurants and shops. I would definitely rent this home again.

The Ultimate Space for Relaxation!

Reviewer Comments: The home was immaculate, the jacuzzi offered a very relaxing experience, the beds were very comfortable, the home was equipped with all the kitchen utensils needed for food prep, and the home lived up to its title, “Some kind of Wonderful!” My only concern is there are three parking spaces, we had two trucks and a sports car that DID NOT fit comfortably in the three spaces causing one truck to be slightly on the grass and the Propery Manager wasn’t at all friendly when he came to the unit to ask us to move our cars off the grass when it was only one vehicle barely on the grass. Despite this hiccup my guest and I had a WONDERFUL TIME and would definitely reserve this unit in the future!

Great house, great location

Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked so that we could do some cooking. The board games were an added bonus to keep our kids entertained after skiing. This home worked out well for our two families. The only issue was that the WiFi kept kicking us off several times during our stay. We talked to the property manager who advised us to unplug the router to reset the WiFi when that happened. That solution worked but was a bit inconvenient. Overall, this was a great house and we'd recommend it to others.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was here Christmas week with family. This is a great property with nice living space. The only concern was finding parking spots that were covered with snow luckily our area was not full and we were able to park freely. Also I recommend a 4W drive as this is on a bit of a hill.
