NIET BOEKEN!Zeer slecht onderhouden appartement. Alle kledingkasten kapot. Bedden kapot en doorgezakt. Zelf een dikke stapel boeken eronder gelegd om een beetje normaal te kunnen slapen. Zwembad is lek, moesten we 2xper dag vullen. Hierdoor is het dakterras de hele tijd nat en spekglad. Meubilair op dakterras ook kapot. Wc brillen zijn helemaal verrot. Douchen moet je erg voorzichtig doen want de douchgordijnen voldoen niet om het water tegen houden. Bij de douche beneden loopt al het water de woonkamer in. Vandaar dat het kozijn van de deur in deze badkamer ook verrot is.Wij zijn het gesprek met de eigenaar aangegaan. Deze gaf aan dat het einde seizoen is. En pas aan het einde van het seizoen altijd alles repareert. Wij legden hem uit dat dit onacceptabel is om niet de boel te onderhouden. We betalen een hoop geld. Een normaal bed om op te slapen en een hele kast om je kleding in op te bergen was immers toch niet te veel gevraagd?Hij was bereid om alle reparaties te verrichten tijdens ons verblijf. Hier zaten wij niet op te wachten want dit is een klus van meerdere dagen. Let op, zwembad vervangen, kasten vervangen bedden vervangen. Oh ja, beddengoed kussen dekens ook allemaal ontzettend vies. Allemaal vieze vlekken (bloedvlekken). Zelf maar gewassen.Advertentie ziet er leuk uit maar je treft het niet zo aan. Er wordt makkelijk en veel geld verdiend met de verhuur van dit appartement

Sejour Albufeira

Nous avons eu un accueil très chaleureux, malgré l'horaire d'arrivé vers 1h30 du matin et la fatigue.Présentation du lieu d'habitation , faire les formalités (taxe).L'appartement au rez de chaussée sentait l'humidité, le rideau de douche de la salle de bain du bas n'est pas assez long (fuite de la douche au sol), il manque des supports de serviettes. En haut les supports sont cassés, le signalement à été fait le lendemain. Un livret sur les visites (en anglais hélas!!!) il devrait y en avoir un en français..... Merci à monsieur Santos pour sa disponibilité. La visite des lieux et des environs étaient formidable, falaises ,plages châteaux etc...très belle région.MERCI.

Owner cancelled on us 1.5 hours before arrival

We didn’t actually stay at the home, as the owner cancelled on us an hour and a half before arrival. Don’t rent from him if you want a place to stay when you get there!

Amazing old town house

Absolutely delightful holiday home! The pictures truly don't capture the essence of this place. Nestled in the heart of the charming old town, it's conveniently located within walking distance of everything. Paulo, the owner, is incredibly kind, helpful, and always prompt with responses to any queries. He efficiently organized transfers to and from Faro Airport, which were flawless. Situation idéale de la maison dans le centre ville, à 2mn à pied de la jolie plage - Roof top très agréable - Manque un peu de confort (literies moyennes, armoires cassées, vaisselle manquante, linge de lit et serviettes tachées, transat cassé) - Proprio néanmoins très sympatique et arrangeant - Littoral magnifique - Noter que la vie à Albufeira est relativement chère

Amazing place to stay and location is perfect on the doorstep!

The townhouse was amazing and perfect for our stay, location is exactly as it said. You walk out of the door and you are literally in old town. Some beautiful little eateries, shops and massage places on the street itself and walk down a little and there is a multitude of shops, bars etc. the beach is right there too and easy to just sit back and relax with a drink. I would highly recommend to all!

Gedateerd. Het geheel voelde gedateerd. Veel was van slechte kwaliteit of stuk. De belofte van de advertentie is helaas niet waar gemaakt. Dated. The whole thing felt dated. Much was of poor quality or broken. Unfortunately, the promise of the ad was not fulfilled.

Great location but…

Was a super location. Property manager/owner was wonderful with communication. Overall there needs to be some changes. The patio was the most disappointing. The umbrella didn’t work at all so we had no afternoon sun coverage. The pool was unusable due to to much chemicals. Space needs to be cleaned up as there are to Many unusable patio loungers. Inside, new towels must be purchased. Very grey and old Overall we did enjoy

Location Location Location

It was all about location for us in Albufeira. The flat is right in the heart of the Old Town and only a 3 minute walk to the beach. The flat is over 3 levels so if you are not used to stairs this would need to be considered. I could not fault the communication we had with Paulo and Cristina, from first booking to checkin and check out. We even got into the apartment earlier which was a real bonus.

Perfect location

You could not have asked for a better location to visit Albuferia. Easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants.sometimes a night it could be noisy with people talking as they walked home from a evening out. The roof top was a great place to sit for drinks and snacks or take a quick dip in the pool. (Still a little cool for early April). The kitchen was empty of any spices or supplies, so it was expensive to stock up on spices, foils, garbage bags, or any basic kitchen supplies. Each bathroom was supplied with one roll of toilet paper after that you must supply your own. The shower curtain need replacing.These small things make a difference from a good rental to a mediocre rental.

The best location

The location couldn't have been better. The unit had some issues, but the owner was very responsive to all our concerns. There are lots of stairs to climb so be prepared. It is a large property and can accommodate 10 people comfortably. Would recommend for a great stay in the Old Town Albufeira.

Idéalement située

Idéalement située mais des rénovations s’imposent. Manque de matériel utilisable pour la cuisine (poêle inutilisable par exemple). Pour 10 personnes il manque une table extérieure et des chaises. On a dû demandé un parasol car tous cassés… Le gérant a fait le nécessaire dans la journée, il est très disponible et agréable. Le kit nécessaire pour l’arrivée est inexistant c’est dommage. Changement du linge de maison au bout d’une semaine très appréciable même si ils sont tachés. La piscine est un vrai plus avec les transats même si l’un était aussi cassé. Très bon séjour malgré tout car l’emplacement est au top !!

Great for a large group

The location is fantastic and is the perfect base to explore both the beautiful old town and experience the amazing nightlife. The apartment was far larger than it seemed in photos, meaning it was perfect for our group of 10. The beds were comfortable and air conditioning in each room was a big plus. The pool is suited to 4 or 5 people, rather than 10 and not designed for messing around in. In what was our own fault, we had damaged the pool but Paulo’s demeanour was respectful and patient in sorting the matter. As for the location, being in the old town meant that most nights taxi’s were not needed, as the old town was surprisingly lively, with the strip just a 5 minute taxi away, or a 20 minute walk if you’re brave. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house, with the only dampener being our own fault with the damage to the pool. A fantastic area, great host and perfect for a first holiday with your mates.

ESPECTACULAR

La casa nos encantó, muy céntrica y perfecta para un grupo. La terraza con la piscina una pasada. El trato con Paulo excelente, estuvo muy pendiente de nuestra llegada que al final por retraso vuelo fue casi a las 3 am, todo eran facilidades por su parte. Nos reservó tambien el transfer del aeropuerto con una compañía súper profesional. Recomendable 150%. Gracias por todo Paulo, con gente como tu da gusto.

This property belongs to my family for many hears. My parents bought this property because of its fantastic location, for having appreciated its charming traditional architecture and for being very spacious whith capacity to accommodate 10 people, providing at the same time the necessary privacy.
After the rebuilding works my family home has become a fantastic holiday accommodation and all the guests are loving it.
If you decide to rent this amazing house, your expectations will be exceed.

At your arrival we will be at the villa for a welcome visit to introduce you to the villa and surrounding area and to give all the instructions about: the Villa / Emergency Numbers / Transports / Area / Lesure Activities / Sports / Heath & Wellness / Where to Shop / Nightlife / Local Restaurant Guide / Tours / etc . A information book with detailed information and local maps will be at your disposal.
