This is the place you are looking for. We stayed for a long weekend for a concert in Ridgefield, WA with our 2 young kids and enjoyed every moment.
Tim is a fabulous host and has great tips about what to do, how to harass the locals for a good laugh, and accommodated our every need (including insuring/ensuring the return of my partner's wedding ring... and a sock we left behind).
The kitchen is so well equipped -- even the knives are sharp!
Waking to enjoy coffee on the deck, read a book by the pond, sweat in the sauna, watch Labyrinth for the 4th time with a 4year old - you can't go wrong with this spot.
Don't miss the Grist Mill on a Saturday and call for a free private tour of the Lelooska Lodge.
I rarely plan to stay in the same place twice - but definently plan to return again soon. Thanks so much!
The property was very clean and comfortable. It was very well stocked. We stayed here for the summit hike to Mount St. Helens and the location was great. Morning coffee on the porch was so pleasant, and the rental was such a comfortable space to eat, sleep, paint and catch up with my sisters.
This property had everything we needed and more! Fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable and clean space, and the view is absolutely stunning! The host made sure we had everything we needed! We highly recommend this property!
The hosts were very gracious. They contacted us before our stay and offered to help us obtain groceries prior to our stay if we wanted. They allowed us to plug in our electric car during our stay and I was allowed to fly my personal drone around their beautiful property. The cabin was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the amenities. The hosts allowed us to check out late on the day of departure to make it more convenient for us. Overall they bent over backwards to accomodate us and make our stay as pleasant as possible. In conclusion, our stay was a great experience. Highly recommended!
We loved our stay MapleRidge! Tim
and Lee are perfect hosts, so warm and friendly. The house is beautiful inside, and the deck offers an amazing view of beautiful wooded hills. The grounds in front have lovely rose and wildflower landscaping. We loved it!
This lovely hidden gem is so comfortable! This place is immaculate and has a rustic feel with modern appliances. The view is spectacular! As are the hosts, Tim and Lee. The time there was very relaxing and I am looking forward to a visit in the Spring! Thanks Tim & Lee!
This stay was absolutely amazing! The unit is set in the most scenic forested hilltop. On clear days, the sunrise and sunset captivate. On overcast days, the mist provides a majestic robing to the trees.
The unit itself has phenomenal amenities - a deck right out over the forest, wood burning fireplace, well equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, smart TV for you to log into your streaming services, high speed wifi and on and on and on....
The sauna on the property is on a beautiful deck extension over the forest facing the river. Everything is idyllic and pristine!
The hosts were beyond top notch! There wasn't a single need that I felt wouldn't have been addressed if I raised concern. Fabulous instructions are left all over the unit to help with operation of every appliance and amenity. And Sambo (dog) was super friendly!
I absolutely cannot wait to book again!
Pros:
-Quiet and Remote
- Very Friendly and accommodating Host
- Super Clean
- Great, and I mean really great, kitchen
- great views
-Sauna
Cons:
- The quiet hours are not communicated in the description
- Hosts live upstairs of the apartment, this is communicated as "nearby" in the description. They are very friendly and Tom and Lee being upstairs meant they were able to provide lots of support for our Thanksgiving dinner, but we did hear footsteps upstairs and felt it wasn't communicated well ahead of time.
-The hosts popped into visit unannounced once or twice.
Bottom line:
This place is great. We really really enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay at Maple Ridge BNB. The views, the kitchen, the sauna all of it was great. The hosts are very friendly, but will probably be a little more involved than typical rental host.
My (38) father (65) and I recently stayed at the MapleRidge House during a father-daughter trip to the PNW. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience there. The space was immaculately clean, well furnished and stocked. The views from the house were amazing! It feels secluded despite being very conveniently located. Tim and Team are the consummate hosts; we could not have asked for better hospitality. When I booked the property, Tim told me I would wish we could stay longer than 2 nights, and he was 100% correct. Don’t miss an opportunity to stay at MapleRidge House!
Gorgeous View, Fully Stocked and Clean...Relaxing Stay at Maple Ridge
We wished we had planned a longer stay at Maple Ridge and will be back when in the area. My hobby is photography and there were beautiful views, flowers, artwork, wildlife, to snap. The property had everything we needed: stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, hot shower, comfy beds, technology, porch and huge windows to view nature, delivery of our groceries, farm stands nearby for fresh fruits and vegetables, points of interest nearby: Ape Caves, Cedar Creek Mill, Mt St Helens and more. The property owners were so friendly, hardworking, easy to talk with and helpful. I highly recommend Maple Ridge Property in Woodland, WA
Immaculately clean, peaceful and large basement apartment overlooking hills and sky near Woodland. Hosts were exceptionally helpful but not intrusive. Very comfortable furniture and beds. Lots of character and details inside and out. Everything you need and more. If we’re back in that neighborhood, we’ll definitely stay again.
Tim and Lee were very welcoming and helpful. Their property is beautiful. We could have sat on the deck and took in the view the whole time and would have been happy. Very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Also enjoyed Sambo, who dropped in a couple times to say Hi. Would stay here again.
Tim was the perfect host who made the weekend covid-compliant outdoor birthday party go off without a hitch. The backdeck was just the space we needed for a small group of friends to meet in a safely distanced, but warm and friendly location. It was excactly what I hoped it would be.
Wish I could say we stayed longer, we came out to go salmon fishing so we were fishing most of the day but it was so nice to come back and have such a nice, clean, friendly place to come back to. Didnt have to worry about our boat and equipment in such a nice neighborhood.
This was our first time to stay at a shared residence and the experience far exceeded our expectations! The hosts were warm, welcoming and provided for everything one could desire. It was truly like staying in a luxurious five-star resort but with plenty of room for everyone. From robes to comfy house shoes to the plushiest towels, they’ve truly thought of everything. The oversized private porch was our favorite and perfect for starting and ending each day taking in the incredible beauty of the PNW. Stay here and you will not want to leave!
Beautiful property inside and out, highly recommended!
Tim the host was extremely helpful in explaining the overview of the property prior to our arrival as we were traveling with my elderly mother and an uncle. This property was one of the most unique, beautiful places we have ever rented. We were extremely impressed with the detail of providing anything a traveler could need or want. The kitchen was well furnished with everything from spices to extras in the fridge, there were fresh roses on the balcony table there was handmade soap in the bathrooms, the beds were extremely comfortable and the view was magnificent! The overall property itself was an exquisitely manicured park! We would highly recommend this property and intend to come back when we’re in the area!
This was an absolutely beautiful location. Although it was a short stay, it was fantastic. Super nice people run it. It was comfortable and not like other rentals where all the stuff seems like the junky stuff that wasn't good enough for their house they put in the rental. This was the opposite. Really nice stay!

Great view, clean and well stocked. Owners were very attentive to your needs.
This property was Amazing! The view was outstanding, it was hard to look away from the windows. The place was well stocked and sparkling clean. We loved sitting on the covered patio to visit with Sambo the family dog.The owners were attentive to our needs. I highly recommend The MapleRidge House.
