Excellent rental in perfect part of town

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay in the garden apartment! It had everything you could want and more! The bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom was equipped with all you could need. There was even cable and Netflix to relax with in the evenings after a long day of sightseeing.. It was a perfect spot to visit Portland! It seems like wherever we wanted to sight see, it was only about 15 minutes away by car. Would highly recommend this place!

Clean, well-organized, thoughtful, and comfortable!

  • 5 of 5

Diane and Charley maintain a guest space that is immaculate, accessible, comfortable, and well-thought-out. We really enjoyed the garden, the heated bathroom floors, the cozy bed, and the well-stocked kitchen. We had a very peaceful stay, and wish we could have stayed longer!

Wonderful garden apartment in Mt Tabor neighborhood of Portland OR

  • 5 of 5

We were taking my 88 year old mother on a visit to Portland, where she grew up, for a last visit to remaining friends, family, and the neighborhood she grew up in. We were looking for a place to stay in the Mt. Tabor area, one that did not require walking up stairs to get to. We were delighted to find this rental, which was so much more than just an accessible place to sleep. It is exquisitely well decorated and maintained, in a peaceful garden setting. There is even a hot tub available in the garden. There are sky lights for extra light, and it was a wonderful surprise for us Californians to wake up and see rain falling on the sky lights. The neighborhood is conveniently located for access to Mt Tabor Park and Laurelhurst Park, and is walking distance to a good grocery store and a bus stop on Burnside for convenient transit to downtown. It is a very walkable area, with wonderful well maintained homes and gardens. I would definitely recommend this rental.

Very nice apartment

  • 4 of 5

Diane had the place very well stocked with just about anything you needed. Her granola was delicious too. The apartment is in a great location for sightseeing and great restaurants. Unfortunately we couldn't see everything on our itinerary because of the fires, so we will have to come back.

Lovely, well equipped apartment with gracious hosts

  • 5 of 5

We were delighted to find that this spacious apartment was even nicer than the photos show. The rooms are large and airy. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer tucked into a closet. The bed was comfortable with an ample closet. The bath is good-sized and fully accessible. The garden is lovely, and the location convenient to buses and MAX. The hosts were friendly and helpful, even offering to help us with accommodations when it was time for us to leave and it seemed we might not be able to make it to our next destination because of wildfires. We'd be delighted to stay here again should we come back to Portland.
