Beautiful 1400 sq. ft craftsman style home. 9.5 miles to Denali National Park's Visitor Center. Escape the overcrowded tourist center and stay in a quiet Alaskan community. The Harbor House is perched high on a ridge overlooking the Alaska Range and Denali National Park.

Relax on the most scenic wraparound deck in the Denali borough! Admire mountain views and if you're lucky a glimpse of resident wildlife.

The Harbor house has two upstairs bedrooms. The master has new for 2025 medium firm queen bed and a comfortable twin memory foam roller bed. The smaller, second bedroom has a Medium firm queen memory foam bed. Both bedrooms have blackout curtains, extra pillows and quality, organic cotton linens to help ensure a quality nights rest.

We are world travels and know the importance of a good night's rest. We are dedicated to creating a clean, comfortable space where our guests feel at home to relax.

*New for 2025…The living room is upgraded with an extremely comfortable custom-made Room and Board Italian leather sectional sofa and a 55 inch Samsung Frame Tv with Sonos sound bar.

Families with children are welcome, but our home is not child-proof.

We are passionate about Denali's wilderness and the community we live in. We would like our guests to enjoy visiting as much as we love living here.

You will have the ENTIRE house to yourself, a private gas fire pit, a BBQ grill and the best wrap around deck in Denali. The property is 2.5 acres. We live in a cabin on-site, but work full time. We respect your privacy. PLEASE email or text US if you need anything during your stay.

The Harbor House has a private 320 foot deep well. Our well water is tested, filtered and treated for hardness. There is an R/O system that makes delicious drinking water at a dedicated faucet in the kitchen.
We recommend purchasing trip insurance for your vacation in case of unforeseen cancellations.

Best place we've stayed during several Denali-area visits

This home is exactly as advertised and is a great home base for the area. Staying in Denali Park is not pleasant but Mary's home is close enough that we could enjoy our favorite spots north and south of town She's an excellent, knowledgeable host. I highly recommend this vrbo.

The property was perfect for our family - my husband and I and our two young adult children. The views are absolutely stunning! We spent most mornings on the porch with coffee enjoying the view. We had everything we needed and more - very comfortable and easy to make meals. The proximity to the national park couldn’t be better especially with the quiet privacy of this neighborhood! The house was amazing! Beautiful and cozy, we played music in the living area and the sound in there was just fantastic! Amenities were plentiful, the views to die for, the ability to cook was perfect! Mary was such a wonderful host, she is full of energy, positive, and always willing to help with any questions. I will definitely come back here for a week! This was by far the best vacation to Alaska I ever had. This is my 8th trip to Alaska and hands down this was the best ever! I can't thank Mary and Aaron enough for sharing their beautiful home!

Unbelievable clean cabin with amazing views! 20 minutes from downtown Denali with great food, shops, and site seeing. We had such a blast celebrating our 21st Anniversary with my In Laws celebrating their 45th Anniversary!! Cabin was cozy and quite with everything we needed to feel like we were home.

Harbour House the best place to land!

We stayed 5 nights at this beautiful mountain home while we toured Denali National Park. The park itself was more than could have imagined. Denali Summit was visible for the first three days. We saw many moose and their calves, dall sheep and their lambs, caribou, porcupines, snowshoe hares, all within a few miles of the house. The house was beautiful inside and out, a cabin with colorful pillows, comfortable beds, a shower with great water pressure, a home away from home. Amazing!!

Great location near park

Great location, clean and well stocked but after the family was hiking all day would like to have access to washer and dryer. Not great to put durty hiking clothers back in the suitcase.

Peaceful Denali Retreat

My father, husband, and I stayed here for two nights. It was so peaceful and quiet. About 20min drive from the town and park. The views everywhere were incredible. The beds/sheets were comfortable, black out shades and curtains, easy check-in/out. Host provided helpful directions and information (including where in town can find washer/dryer). Loved our stay and this beautiful house!

Harbour House

Harbour House is very warm and inviting with all the comforts of home plus extra touches. Mary was a great host and provided excellent information for surrounding area.
