If you were in the Cayman Islands last year looking for a place to book for the next year, this is the condo you would choose!

Our location is centrally located on Seven Mile Beach, putting you conveniently close to restaurants, shops, grocery stores, Camana Bay and evening entertainment, but far enough away from the congestion of Georgetown. Many guests don't find the need to even rent a car. Cayman Reef Resort is located on the famous Seven Mile Beach, where calm, warm, turquoise water meets pure white sand. With our crystal clear water, you can snorkel right in front, in water that is bathtub temperature.

Because this is our personal vacation retreat, it is meticulously maintained and we have all the conveniences of home. Enjoy sitting or eating in your personal screened lanai complete with ceiling fan, and barbecue. Being on the ground floor, you can walk right out to the swimming pool and tropical gardens or beyond that, the beach. Our condo is decorated in a colorful Caribbean motif. You will feel comfortable, yet impressed. If you stay at our condo, you will never see a more beautiful sunset. The only drawback is that your stay will not be long enough!

We couldn't haven't enjoyed the stay more. Kathy is very easy to get in touch with. Finding and accessing the condo could not have been easier. Other visitors at the complex were very friendly. The property, inside and out, is very well maintained. Great location, especially for area restaurants and Camana Bay. Weather was perfect every day.

Yes. We appreciated all the beach and pool toys at the condo, the kitchen was fully set up so we didnt require anything at all tocook great meals. The bbq was a bonus!

Friendly bit of paradise

Fabulous location, easy to the beach and very close to Camana Bay shopping and dining. Other guests were friendly and helpful. The unit was tidy and clean. Great vacation on a great island.

Cayman Reef

This place is great. Maybe not fancy but everything you want on vacation. We have stayed here several times and hope to come back again. Everything about the resort is clean and well maintained, and everyone we've met there has been friendly and fun to meet.

A great place to unplug

Nicely decorated 1 BR -- 200 feet to the ocean and 100 feet to a pool. Owner was incredibly easy to deal with -- sending a detailed multi-page guide to the area a few days before we checked in. Lots of places in easy walking distance -- including overpass to Camana Bay. Highly recommended.

The #2 condo at the Coral Reef was fabulous. It was within walking distance to great restraunts. Grocery store only a mile away. Plus plenty of liquer store choices. We rode the public bus a few times. Great option if you don't want to walk too far. Would Definitly stay here again.

The condo, accommodations, and location exceeded our expectations during our stay in Grand Cayman.

The condo was centrally located to shops, restaurants, and other activities, which provided us the options of experiencing the best of the area. If anything, the owners undersold the condo. We were beach front and right next to the swimming pool. We were also within a short walking distance to several restaurants and a large outdoor shopping area (upscale restaurants, grocery store, and retail stores). This was a top 5 vacation for the family!

Seven INCH Beach

The property is clean & in a great location. BUT-there is NO beach other than the public beach. The lock on the front door doesn’t work right, the back door doesn’t lock without putting a piece of wood there, the bathroom outlet didn’t work, the large front burner on the stove didn’t work & the toaster didn’t work.

Fantastic location on 7 mile beach

Great place to stay. Pictures accurate, 300 yards to the most beautiful beach in the world. Walking distance to stores, restaurants, rental car office. Far enough from George Town to avoid cruise ship hordes. Excellent air conditioning. Swimming pool immaculately clean. Tennis and pickeball courts very nice. Host information very comprehensive and extremely helpful. We are already planning a return visit. Very grateful to hosts.

Great place to stay!

Resort was really easy to book. Check in and check out was super easy. Host did a great job with communication and never had to ask a question. The resort was beautiful and clean. Never needed anything, never felt crowded, and always felt safe. Our condo was everything it said it was. Super clean and had everything we needed. Our room was 100 feet from the pool and about twice that from the beach. Water was crystal clear and beautiful. The resorts "beach" was not big by any means, but all you have to do is go to the north and there is plenty of beach for everyone. We were also minutes from shops, stores, and restaurants. Easy walking distance. Great place!

Great place to stay with a miscommunication with what place I was staying at but after contacting the property manager we were able to figure it out. The last thing was the Iron didn’t heat up but we managed and the umbrella was broken but we brought one from home. Other than those few things the place was terrific and we will definitely stay here again. Thank you

Great Location

The hosts were great/very responsive and also offered a PDF in advance of our trip with information and restaurant recommendations. We were allowed to check in early due to the property being vacant the day we arrived. This was much appreciated! The condo was clean and in a great spot on 7MB. Within walking distance were several great restaurants. We rented a car and most places were a short 10-15 min drive (including the airport.) Our sole disappointment was the beach at the condo. The area has lost several feet of beach vs the photos. While this isn’t the fault of the owners, it would have been nice to have seen updated photos that represent reality. We ended up driving to find better beaches, which are plentiful on the island. The sunsets on the beach were spectacular though.

Comfortable and convenient

Owners were communicative and responsive, no issues there. Property was as depicted in photos, so no surprises there :) Bed had super comfy mattress! Pool was very nice. Location is great on 7-mile beach. Cayman is suffering from beach erosion, so there was adequate beach for number of guest when we were there, but might be an issue if more populated. We considered a hotel, if in that boat-would not recommend Marriott as it has no beach, the Seafire is beautiful! Can't beat Cayman for it's beautiful white sand and turquoise water. You can enjoy the beaches. We rented a vehicle to see the whole island. Felt very safe on the island. Natives are very religious, shops are closed on Sundays. Found 'locals' to be from all over the world-Canada, New Zealand, Australia, India, and Philippines. All the restaurants we ate at were very good to excellent. Grocery store, Kirk Market, was like a Whole Foods. Have a wonderful vacation! Would recommend for its' location and cost.

Great island, good building, disappointing unit and owner

We visit Cayman annually ... it’s one of our favorite destinations. We split our time between one of the major hotels and this building where we have rented a unit every year. Unfortunately, this particular unit is worn out, awkwardly located and the owner’s policies are extremely unfriendly. Example: you only get 1 roll of toilet paper. When spending this amount per night for a condo, owner should be a little more realistic .... I’d even pay an extra $3 in the daily rate for the security of knowing I can have maybe two rolls? Lots of other trifling but irritating fails like this. Thanks to the office staff who are awesome and generously gave us an extra roll when we ran out. Kathy, recommend you up your game on the ‘necessities’ or at least reveal your unusually frugal expectations ‘Pre-sale’ in your property description. Finding out after paying for the unit in your guest info adds insult to injury.

Great Family Christmas & New Years

Our family of four (kids ages 15 and 12) spent two weeks over Christmas and New Year's 2025 at Cayman Reef Resort (CRR). We wanted a centrally located two-bedroom condo on SMB within walking distance of restaurants and shops, but holiday prices made us adjust our expectations. Initially hesitant about CRR due to reviews about beach erosion, we chose Kathy’s unit because it was the most affordable option available. We loved the location to Fosters grocery and Camana Bay for NYE fireworks, people watching, dinner & treats, cinema).Kathy was fantastic, providing prompt, helpful communication from booking to check-out. She was upfront about the beach erosion and that the condo might be tight for a family of four. When we had a minor TV issue, Kathy had the manager resolve it the next day.The condo was clean and well-stocked, with a fully equipped kitchen (coffee maker, blender, etc.), linens, and starter supplies. Beach gear included chairs, an umbrella, towels, and toys like a boogie board. The beach in front of CRR exceeded expectations—about 75% of the time, there was at least 15 feet of sand to enjoy.The condo is a bit dated but maintained, and the price reflects this. Downsides included some mold in the shower caulking, a stiff patio door, and a grill that could turn on if bumped (unplug it when not in use). A small vacuum would have been helpful for managing sand.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. CRR is in a great location, and Kathy is an exceptional host!

Wonderful Vacation

We stayed here May 7-14 2023. The unit was very clean and had everything we could possibly need. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. We didn't turn the television on once as we just wanted to soak up the tropical vibe. The condo property was very well taken care of. The pool was beyond clean and very warm. We swam everyday in it. Hardly anyone ever in it. There was always chairs and umbrellas at the pool as well as the ocean. Sadly alot of the beach is going away on 7 Mile. But there was still enough to lounge in front of the condo. Our only complaint was and to no fault of the owner, the unit above us had people smoking nonstop on the balcony which we could smell everytime we were on ours. First thing in the morning trying to have our coffee and having to smell smoke wasn't the greatest. They should not allow smoking on any balconies. But we enjoyed our stay and would definately book this unit again. It's so close to everything you do not need to rent a car. Camana Bay is across the street within walking distance. Restaurants close by as well as the grocery store. And you can hop on a bus right in front of the condo. Just hold your hand up and they will stop. $2.50 US one way. Very safe island. We've been to Cayman many times and will continue to come back. This is not a fancy resort but a home away from home. Perfect for a relaxing vacation.

Great, convenient getaway to just relax

We wanted a no-frills beach vacation for quiet relaxation, and this property was perfect for that! Everything we needed was a short walk away, from the private stretch of beach to the local supermarket to a variety of restaurants and shops. We were able to easily cook/make breakfast and lunch in the kitchen, and the A/C was great to keep the temperature and humidity down.

Why they chose this property

We bought at Cayman Reef Resort after having traveled to many vacation spots in Hawaii and the Caribbean. With our love for the ocean, we were always on the lookout for the the perfect color water, and the perfect diving and snorkeling spot. We have found just that at Cayman Reef Resort. It is just the right size complex, only 2 stories tall, and not like the mega-complexes that seem to be popping up everywhere. It is perfectly located with so many great restaurants all within walking distance. It is safe and has warm, friendly people. Our family has had many memorable vacations here.

What makes this property unique

Nothing beats being able to look out at the gorgeous ocean and watch magnificent sunsets nightly. Floating in the pool or snorkeling in the ocean right at Cayman Reef Resort is such a treat. Oh the wonders you will see! Cayman Reef even has a lit tennis and pickle ball court. All this and still so conveniently located that you don't need to rent a car.
