Thanks Kellie. Glad you appreciated our proximity to so much on Seven Mile Beach! I just wanted to clarify that the complex is called Cayman Reef Resort, not Coral Reef.

I'm sorry that there was a problem with the touch pad lock on the front door. The battery was recently changed but apparently, the lock malfunctioned. For an occasion like that, we have always had a backup key on the door in a mechanical box. We have never had to use it but we were glad it was available for your use and the manager promptly got you the key. Because this happened on a weekend, we couldn't get the locksmith there until after you left. We have already replaced it with a new lock. The sliding glass door is secured in three ways- the door lock itself, two Burglabar flip up inside door locks, and then there is a wooden bar. The bathroom outlet is controlled by a switch on the wall entering the bathroom and there is a note on the wall that tells you that there are two switches- one for the light and one for the outlet. We do have an electric stove and sometimes when they clean it, they loosen the heating element. When that happens, It just needs to be pushed in a bit to make contact. Our manager would have been able to take care of these things if you would have let her know. As far as the beach immediately in front of us goes, it does come and go with storms. Typically, we have access immediately in front but unfortunately, you were there at a time where that didn't exist. Most of the time, there is a beach just next to us.

Thanks for the great review. The beach is one thing we have no control over. The majority of time, we have had a great beach but with storms, we sometimes lose sand and then it returns.

Grand Cayman was lucky once again to be spared by any hurricanes, even with it being such a busy hurricane season. A little known storm called Tropical Storm Phillipe however did affect our beaches even though it was hundreds of miles away. Through the years, we have seen storms take some sand away from our beaches and then gradually return it to us. It's already starting to return and we expect it will be back to its' glory.

Matthew, I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed. I have only gotten 4 and 5 star reviews so your experience is not the norm. When you first booked the condo, I sent you a list of what was supplied and some helpful information. Three days before your arrival, you wrote me to ask where you would get more towels and supplies if you needed them. I told you that we do not have a central supply service but we have plenty of towels. I explained again that we only supply a roll of toilet paper and a roll of paper towels and you would have to buy more on your own. We are not a hotel and are not set up with unlimited storage where we can store items like toilet paper. Anyone looking to rent my condo can see the many positive reviews I have and know that the listing photos and description are accurate.

Thanks Katie. Glad you enjoyed your stay and our condo. We agree that the bathroom caulking did need some attention. We have since switched cleaning services. The patio door did need some attention as well. Thanks for bringing that to our attention.
