La GLASS HOUSE è stata progettata da un socio di Frank Lloyd Wright (FLW). È un esempio UNICO della sua architettura classica e dell'uso dello spazio abitativo "core". L'arredamento moderno Mid-Centruy e il design classico con ampie vetrate sulla parte anteriore e posteriore della Glass House lo rendono un luogo meraviglioso per i vacanzieri che possono godere di una vista libera sul Lago Erie e sulla baia di Sandusky. Le pareti in legno di mogano e le finiture interne con soffitti in cedro sono un esempio eccezionale dello stile e della semplicità di FLW. Il ponte anteriore offre una vista panoramica sul lago per rilassarsi.

Una zona soggiorno APERTA, cucina, sala da pranzo e due ponti insieme a due camere da letto "master" con bagno si trovano al piano superiore. Il livello inferiore ha tre camere da letto e una camera familiare per bambini con una seconda TV per una maggiore versatilità nell'intrattenimento. Una di queste camere ha un letto matrimoniale, mentre le altre due hanno due letti singoli. La camera familiare per bambini dispone di una piccola cucina con lavastoviglie e frigorifero per intrattenersi nel patio in mattoni sul retro.

I recenti miglioramenti includono nuovi pavimenti in legno a livello principale, nuovi mobili, biancheria da letto, TV a schermo piatto e DVD. Internet è fornito con WiFi in casa.

Per il tuo divertimento all'aria aperta sono disponibili un set di bocce, un set da croquet, 12 sedie da esterno, 3 tavoli da picnic e 3 ombrelloni. I giocattoli da spiaggia sono custoditi nel capannone. L'arredamento del patio consente il pieno utilizzo del cortile posteriore esterno e vi è un'ampia area per bambini e giochi. Ci sono anche 2 tavoli da picnic sulla spiaggia della baia.

La vista sull'acqua e sulla spiaggia consentirà alla tua famiglia di vivere un'esperienza unica sul Lago Erie. Non dimenticare le isole. Sarai limitato solo dal tuo tempo e dalla tua creatività nel goderti la zona.

The location overlooking the lake and the bay is wonderful. The kitchen has all needed items. The various sitting areas indoors and outdoors are really nice, and in spite of rain a couple of days, all had a wonderful time. Thank you.

Stayed here many years. Beautiful views of lake and bay, with large backyard and beach access. Nice open floor plan for all to gather. House furnished with bedding and towels and kitchen supplies. Owner is very easy to communicate with. We had a small issue that required his attention and it was addressed immediately.

The Glass House was perfect for our family. We traveled with adult children and a six month old infant. The property was well fitted with everything you could need if you prefer to stay in for some meals. The set up of the house was perfect to allow time together without feeling crowded but also provide areas of privacy for everyone. The access to the bay and the beach were perfect with both being only a few steps away and both having private access. Decks on both sides of the house offered beautiful views. A fire pit on the bay side was enjoyable on cool evenings. Our family would certainly return to this property at any opportunity.

This property is so beautiful and perfect for quality family time. The views from the main floor is just beautiful. You can see the lake on the front of the house and the bay in the back. You can hear the waves while sitting on the front porch. It felt like you were on your own private beach. The kids enjoyed playing in the sand and swimming in lake. The back yard was great for playing ball. Check-in/Check-out was a breeze. The host had instructions for everything regarding the home and how to work everything.

We had a wonderful stay! Loved having direct beachfront access to Lake Erie with the Sandusky Bay right in the backyard — the location couldn’t be better. The house was unique, clean, and fit our group of 8 very comfortably. The host was extremely accommodating and communication was excellent throughout. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

12 people for Cedar Point stay

We had a great time at the glass house. 12 of us had plenty of space. The inside was very clean and listing accurate. The front and back yards along with front porch were great for playing and sitting to watch the rain. We loved having the option of the bay and the lake. So close to Cedar Point made coming and going to the park and back throughout the day a breeze. Would definitely book again!! Thanks Doug!!

Highly recommend The Glass House!

It exceeded our expectations and Doug from Sandusky Rentals was great to work with. My recommendation is to book early in the year (January) the summer dates fill up quickly. From the Glass House you have wonderful views of Lake Eire and Sandusky Bay. There are beaches on both the Bay and Lake. The furnishing makes it easy for groups to gather and enjoy each other’s company. Wonderful house, another plus Cedar Point is just minutes away! We rented two houses on the Point from Doug and it worked out well for our extended family.

Would love to stay again

Everyone loved staying here, and the house was plenty warm even in the cold weather. There were also plenty of extra blankets for the chronically cold members of the family. Five stars! Hand soap and dishwasher soap was full +++. We used that a lot. We used the iron. The kitchen, bathrooms, and common space were very clean +++. Wi-Fi and tv were a big + for Christmas movies and football. We used the crockpot. Plenty of silverware and dishes for a party of our size. Two refrigerators came in very handy+++. Hope to stay again!
