A well-deserved getaway awaits you at “Kayak Kabin”, a newly renovated 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation rental house located on the shores of the White Oak River. Offering accommodations for 8 with 1,300 square feet of living space with brand new appliances, a full size hot tub, and breath taking views of the lower White Oak River, this house will not disappoint. This comfortable house is situated in the coastal town of Cedar Point.

The house features an open-style combined living room, dining room, and kitchen area, creating the perfect place to enjoy the company of your travel companions while you relax and take in the beautiful scenery of the White Oak River.
The chef of the group with relish in the fully-equipped kitchen, where they can use the stainless steel appliances to cook up their favorite recipes on beautiful granite countertops. Enjoy delicious homemade meals gathered around the living room table, at the kitchen bar, or outside on the spacious deck’s comfortable patio furniture.
During days spent inside, lounge around in the living room, complete with a comfortable sofa, a matching, armchair, and a flat-screen cable TV. Every Bedroom is equipped with a flat-screen cable TV as well.
Below the main living area you’ll find an 8 foot picnic table and a Hot Tub capable of holding up to six people at one time. This is the perfect place to spend a relaxing evening!
The deck offers incredible views of the surrounding saltwater river and distant islands. Kayak Kabin also has a small backyard perfect for playing games or cooking on our in-ground park grill.
In addition to the deck and yard Kayak Kabin also has a brand new, 250 ft, concert dock. The dock runs over the beautiful marsh and ends with a two level platform overlooking the White Oak River. The dock is perfect for launching kayaks, fishing, crabbing, birdwatching, or just relaxing and catching some rays! We also have 2 kayaks on the property, perfect for exploring the surrounding waterways.
THE LOCATION
Kayak Kabin is located directly off Highway 24 in the small coastal town of Cedar Point. From the house it’s a short five minute drive to the beaches of Emerald Isle and an enjoyable 10 minute walk to historic Swansboro. The house is a kayakers dream! It’s location on the flats of the White Oak River make it an ideal place to jump on a kayak and go exploring.
In addition to the beautiful beaches the Crystal Coast also provides world class fishing. If you’re looking for an inshore fishing guide the folks at Dudley’s and Pogies will be able to help you out. If you’re looking for a deep sea experience the Head boats the “Capt. Stacy”, located in Atlantic Beach, and the “Carolina Princess”, located in Morehead City, are sure bets.
If you’re looking for a place to launch your own boat there’s no need to worry! There is a deep water, public North Carolina Wildlife boat ramp located directly across the street. This ramp also includes a free public fishing pier.
When it comes to the kids there are more than enough activities to keep them busy! You can spend the day playing in the water at the Salty Pirate Water Park, race go carts and play putt putt at the Golfin’ Dolphin, or bowl and play in the arcade at Mac Daddy’s.
And don’t forget about Swansboro! Historic Downtown Swansboro is full of shops, restaurants, and beautiful scenery. Enjoy the day walking around and exploring the Friendly City By the Sea.
