Amazing!

This home far exceeded our expectations! It was very clean & beautifully decorated. Originally we planned to stay at a park resort but decided to try a home at Champions Gate instead & we are so glad we did. This will definitely be our go to for any future stays in Orlando, I cannot recommend this home & management enough!

A solid recommendation

The house is clean and well maintained, great location and neighborhood...convenient to everything, plenty of space to spread out with 5 bedrooms, 5 baths, an ample kitchen, and 2 family rooms. 7 flat screen TV's, so everyone can watch whatever they want. The property is in a gated community with security and they are on top of things.The management company is easy to communicate with by text and very quick to respond. You will not be disappointed with your stay here.

Not a Perfect 10 but close to it

Home was as stated. The pool was a lot smaller than pictured. Not enough bath towels for the full stay and fridge sis not get as cold as we like but overall it was a good rental.

Amazing

My family was beyond excited for our trip to Florida this summer and couldn't wait to enjoy the beautiful home we found on VRBO. The house was exactly as pictured/described. Our family of 7 had plenty of room to spread out and the house was absolutely gorgeous. It was clean and the beds/pillows were so comfortable. The private pool & hot tub were wonderful and the community pools were great as well. The community even provides a shuttle to the different amenities it provides and drops you off at your rental property; this was a pleasant surprise and a real welcome! Communication with property manager was easy and quick responses were always given.

The house was not clean at all when we got there. Floors wasn’t washed. We were very busy with 7 kids during our stay and slowly everyday we notice something else is not working like kitchen bar stools were not for use (kinda of broken), the bath tub had no hot water (with baby it’s not easy at all!) the other shower was with head shower heavy leaking, the last day even thwacking was leaking bad. They didn’t provide toilet paper except of 1 ok each bathroom. They want you to take out all your garbage but didn’t provide trash bags or even a hand soap in the kitchen. This house has no supplies at all . Even showers were with 1 small tiny hand soap that is enough for 1 day for 1 person. Long story short, choose a different house.

Horrible Experience

How do i get a refund for the remainder of the nights. we stayed there less then 24 hours. i need to get this taken care of immediately. - heat did not work in house - pool and hot tub were freezing - there were no baking sheets - there were no potholders - the couch cushions were filthy - one of the beds was broken - all the attractions were closed I can send pictures or anything else you need. This is very upsetting. I had my children and grandchildren with me for our yearly Christmas vacation. I am sending this to VRBO directly as well.

I was originally going to give this house a great review, it's spacious and very pretty, rooms are larger than they appear in the pictures. Management was initially very responsive to all of our questions and needs. We even requested to stay another day. However the houses are extremely close together. On our last day we went out to universal theme parks, when we got back we discovered we had been robbed. The back sliding glass door lock did not work and was in a locked position but was opened, and the outside patio doors do not lock and you can't close curtains on the sliding glass doors, so it's like being in a fish bowl. Also unknown to us was that the downstairs windows were not locked. We called management to let them know an me they immediately let me know that was an external problem and not their problem and I should just call the police, which I did. Getting late into the night, the house was not secure and our safety was compromised. Management texted we could start at another property for the night. When we drove there we couldn't get through the gate. We turned around and couldn't get back in the gate we came from, our reservation was not in the system since it was after midnight. It took multiple calls to management to get problem resolved. Stayed at original property and barricaded the door with furniture so no one could get in. No follow up from management at all. Will never stay there again. Not safe and no cameras no alarm.

Disappointing

We planned a spring break trip with our entire family, which was met with frustration for checkin, getting information from the rental company (took 2 days to get a response after repeated messages and voicemails), no pool heat, and dirty bathrooms. We've rented houses for over 20 years and had yet to have a bad experience. This was a very disappointing experience. We were unable to use the pool because the water temperature was so cold. The community amenities are very nice and we were able to take the kids to swim there. Unfortunately you can't bring food or drinks to the pool, so we had to walk back and forth rather than enjoy the pool at the house. Two of the showers hadn't been cleaned and there was still trash in the game room.

Nice home, but...

The home was very nice and comfortable. Some things that were missing were having extra towels in the bathrooms, dish towels in the kitchen and pot holders to use when removing pans from the oven. The microwave was not plugged in when we arrived. We plugged it in but as soon as we started using it the breaker would trip. So we had no microwave. We also had a large group (10 adults) and did not have a place to put multiple bags of trash. There was a bag of trash in the yard when we arrived and then when we left today the home next door had a large pile of trash in the yard. Overall the home was very comfortable just had some elements that were disappointing.

Amazing Home

We had a great time on vacation and this home was great . It's just as pictured. The owner was pretty quick with responding to any questions I had. I absolutely love the location. I've stayed in this community about 3 times and will continue to do so while on vacation.

Champions Gate is definitely a 5 star resort. The lazy river, tiki bar pool, fitness room, movie theater and club house activities, all are Awesome! The house, my family and I agreed, we would give 4 stars. It was clean but we had a few hiccups. Our host had not registered our name with the security gate so we had a slight issue getting into the resort. There was no welcome book at the house and that was really disappointing because that explains how things in the house work, and what must be done prior to vacating, along with a few helpful hints about the area. We had a pool table but the que sticks had no tips and one of the TV's in the one of bedrooms did not work. We contacted the host concerning both issues but neither was resolved. However, these minor issues did not deter us. We had a blast in the pool and are coming back next year. Hopefully, this house will be available!

The house is very nice and clean with a lot of space. We were a party of 8 adults and 7 kids under 12. However I suggest you bring your own towels.

Mediocre at best

The house itself is nice but very worn down and broken things are not replaced. Toaster was broken when we arrived, I notified management and it was not replaced. There are only two frying pans in the home. Several lightbulbs are out. Batteries are corroded in tv remotes that don’t work. You get a long borderline threatening email at check in about how everything is electronically inventoried but they clearly just count towels and bed sheets because so much else is missing. Pool gets warm, hot tub never does. This is our fourth vacation home rental and this was by far the least taken care of property we’ve stayed at. The beds were very comfortable, the community center is beautiful. There are plenty of options nearby for groceries, beer, gas, restaurants. Traffic is horrible at times, but that certainly isn’t the fault of the home. Check in is a beast. It’s a gated community that I believe is mostly rental homes like this, so you have to go through a guard stand to check in. One night the line was 100 deep, but it was Friday in Spring Break. Once you’re checked in you get a QR code that you scan and go by.

Nice home.

Nice home, excellent communication. I had a few questions that were replied to quickly. Only complaint was some loud neighbors, but that had nothing to do with the property. We would definitely return.

overall it was nice although the neighbors kept us all up from 2AM to about 4:30 AM. ugh!

location was great, house layout was perfect for two families with kids. Cleaners really need to vacuum the carpeted areas upstairs, major dust! also, the neighbours were partying from 2 AM until about 4:30 Am both Saturday and Sunday night. This has happened before at other properties on different stays... people are on vacation.
