This small cabin at Lake Martin in Alabama is a newly built prototype of small living at its finest.

Oak floors accent the entire cabin. Pebble shower floor with rainfall shower. Private king-size bedroom on the first floor. A loft bedroom on the upper level with a queen bed and two built-in bunks.
The large glass windows give you the feel of being in a treehouse. The are spectacular views of the outside from upstairs and down. Washer/dryer included and completely furnished.
We are a small family owned business on Lake Martin and are now booking small cabin rentals for the 2018 seasons. Also, email us to ask about pontoon rental discounts for cabin renters. Email- Smithmarinaonlakemartin@
For the best experience ever!! Lake Martin awaits you. The lake is beautiful in any season. Book a busy weekend package or a low traffic get away Monday thru Thursday. Cabin within short walking distance from boat rental and marina. Pontoon rentals include all necessary equipment. We even have towables ( tubes ) water skis and other water toys available. Email and book now. We are here to help you plan your perfect Lake Martin vacation.

There is a 3 day minimum and a 75.00 cleaning fee. A pet deposit of 100.00 is required.

The sweetest host and the cutest cabin

We loved the cabin in the woods. We spent one day at the Auburn game and we rented the host boat one day! The host are very sweet and responsive. We will definitely visit again!

Great family getaway

Definitely would recommend this property. We had 6 people and had plenty of room for all. Can’t speak for the kids but the Master bed was great. Owners went over and beyond to make our stay great. It was a short walk to the marina where we rented a boat from owners which was so convenient.

Comfortable cabin near Lake Martin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well-appointed, idyllic cabin near Lake Martin. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating; we really enjoyed meeting their Great Pyrenees, Mya. We'll definitely stay here when visiting relatives in the area and would highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a comfortably, quiet vacation. Thank you!

The cabin is nice & spacious. Has all the kitchen essentials. Enjoyed Outdoor wrap around porch. Boat ramp is within walking distance. Enjoyed our first trip to lake martin. We will be back!

Amazing cabin

This place exceeded expectations. It is absolutely beautiful and nestled in a little wooded area with water right by. The marina that is owned by the cabin owners made the stay even mor perfect. The owners were the sweetest people. It was my daughter and her friend and myself. We rented a boat at the marina and explored all of lake martin. I highly recommend this property.

Incredible experience. The only thing was we weren’t sure what to do on checkout. We had keys to get in but weren’t sure where to put them. Also weren’t sure what to do with the sheets and towels. Loved loved the home!!! It could have been an error on our part! Thank you again!!!

Quiet peaceful location with access to Lake Martin and Auburn. The cabin was 45 min from AU.

Check in and communication with the hosts was a breeze. The cabin was as described. It was the first chilly Fall weekend and the cabin was warm and cozy when we arrived which was a pleasant surprise. Thank you Deborah for allowing us to use your cabin. I look forward to the next visit.

Just right!

I booked this property for a relaxing weekend with my boyfriend. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The property managers were very nice and attentive. On the way in, I asked the property manager (wife) whether there was a stockpot in the kitchen. She told me if there was not, she'd send one to me (they live down the street). Shortly after we arrived, and before I could ask, the property manager (husband) pulled up with a stockpot. Great trip!

My wife and I have raised 4 daughters. Over the last 30 years. We as a family retired after 30 years in a small town to Lake Martin in Alabama. Took our 401k’s and built a yogurt shop on the site of an old marina. Amazing 30 years to save it. Feels like in 30 days to spent it. Oh well, the American dream. Retire in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Oh, and I get free yogurt. It’s good to be married to the boss. Come enjoy our lake from our point of view. You will make it a regular vacation spot.
We started our adventure by building a small cabin. To live in personally while working on our new marina home. Now it’s time to for us to share this Lake by renting this small cabin. Offering a connoisseur experience. Person by person.

Why they chose this property

Location, location, location. This cabin is only 5 miles from a dollar general and only 9.5 miles from Alexander City. There are cabins on lake Martin. That would take 30 to 45 minutes to just get to a store. We are located next to Willow Point. Very close to everything.

What makes this property unique

Rent a cabin and a pontoon boat from the same people. We offer pontoon rentals for our cabin occupants. ( Although we only rent boats to persons over 25 years of age.)
If your not a boater. Set back and let one of our trained captains guide your time on the lake with one of our 2 hour sunset cruises. There has been numerous bald eagle sitings on some of these cruises. Please text us for details or with your special request. We Would love the opportunity to be part of your vacation to Lake Martin.
