We loved the area. So quiet and serene. There is a wonderful park just outside the front door. The home is very clean, inviting and comfortable. The owner was welcoming and kind.
Beautiful home, quiet neighborhood
Home was beautiful and nicely decorated. Barbara was super nice and helpful as she greeted us and showed us around. Neighborhood is quiet and very nice.
Home away from home
Our family loved this house. Great location in a quiet neighborhood. It had all the amenities you could possibly need on vacation. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Boise!
We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The home was beautiful and exceptionally clean. The neighborhood is gorgeous and so close to downtown. The only thing we would have loved was some patio furniture to sit outside.
Lovely walking neighborhood
Our stay was very comfortable. The furnishings were first rate, the bathrooms modern, beds comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The owners are next door to answer any questions. I recommend this place for your visit to Boise.

About Jim and Barbara Lane
Hi, My husband and I are retired. Actually, he's semi-retired. He was an advertising copywriter and creative director and still does some freelance work. I owned my own women's clothing store in Boise. I love to remodel homes, and I just finished this one. We love to read. I like mysteries, especially cozy mysteries. My husband likes thrillers and histories. We hope you enjoy your stay.

What makes this House unique
We bought this home because we saw the potential in it. It was built in 1972 by a prominent local auto dealer for his mother and her caretaker. Mom lived in one townhouse, the caretaker in the other one. It was very well built, but had not been updated in 45 years. So, we updated both sides. We also love the neighborhood. It's upscale without being snooty about it with a stunning view of Boise's foothills on the way in. There's also no through traffic. So it's quiet, with few cars. There's a nice neighborhood park just a few steps from the east boundary of our property with a playground, tennis courts, and apparently a Pokymon hotspot. We're also closer to everything than we were when we lived in the North End, including a WalMart grocery store, which is only two minutes away.
