Ground Floor. If you looking for a peacefull vacations at the beach this is the place for you. Great atmosphere with a lot of tranquility and to much to discover at Yucatan península. Perfect for retirees looking for the heat and tranquility of the Yucatan coast. It is mandatory to send the identification of all guests at least 72 hours before their arrival for registration in the security area of the condominium. Playa Chaca

Playa Chaca is such a unique complex. The condo was lovely and Oscar and Claudia are the perfect hosts. We met so many great people there and Its location makes it is so easy to get around the town from there . Mother Nature was not kind to the beach there this year and accessibility was difficult at times.

Stay at La Playa Chaca

Very nice condo. Had everything I needed. Property manager Oscar was very helpful & responded to questions quickly. I needed a new toaster and he got it right away. Staff at gate/entry very nice & helpful. Location perfect for beach walks, Crocodiles, SIX for beer & snacks. Pool area clean & charming.

What at great stay... our thanks to our hosts... Oscar and Claudia, we were greeted with open arms and when it was time to return home they were there with hugs and best wishes! The condo was one of if not the best decorated, bright and cheery and appropriately furnished, including laundry facilities, for a stay of 30 days as was ours or longer! Transportation into Progreso Centro was at the “doorstep” or an easy walk... both of which were safe and enjoyable. The ocean beach was a 3 minute walk and although we are not “beach people” many at this condo complex were “regular visitors” for both walking and sunbathing... Our thank again to Oscar and Claudia for making our stay most satisfying!!!

Authentic place to stay!

The staff on grounds were very friendly and helpful. The host was very responsive when contacted. Beautiful pool and property. The access to the beach is not a place to hang out, but the nice beach is a 5 minute drive away. There is an awesome fruit/vegetable stand about a minute away that was wonderful. Went there every morning for fresh fruit and vegetables. The tortilla chips and homemade corn tortillas were excellent! The day we checked out, while getting ready to leave(5am to 630am) the water did not work. So there was no taking a shower or anything else requiring water available. Besides that fun was had by all!

A great experience

Oscar was the perfect host. He drove us from Merida to his Progreso property and then, two weeks later, to the airport. His condo was well equipped and tastefully decorated. His fridge was nicely stocked with wine, beer and treats. The location was great, about a thirty minute walk to both Progreso and Chicxulub.

Playa Chacá is a charming condominium perfect for the whole year, but in winter it becomes a great community of Canadian retirees who seek the heat of the Yucatecan coast and the tranquility of the safest state in Mexico. In summer it is similar with national guests.

One of the most charming things about this property is the hammock on the terrace, enjoying a nap in it is something unforgettable, relaxing and energizing.
