This is a large open-floor plan home with vaulted ceilings on 6.5 acres in the beautiful Teton Valley outside of Victor, Idaho. Bursting with natural light from large windows all around, the home is ringed by a 300 degree view of the surrounding mountain ranges. Wonderful view from the large deck, great for grilling and star gazing. The 3,600 square foot home has luxury furnishings and accessories, including an open kitchen with many accessories for entertaining. The dining room table seats 10-12, and the island seats 4.

Located 2 miles from downtown Victor, and 8 miles from Driggs; the town of Jackson Hole is 27 miles south. Jackson Hole Ski Resort in Teton Village is a 29 mile drive, and Grand Targhee Ski Resort and National Forest is 21 miles north. The adventures are all around you in this perfectly located home: Yellowstone National Park; Grand Teton National Park; Big Hole Mountain Range, Leigh Lake and Jenny Lake; the Snake and Teton Rivers; world class fishing, skiing, snowmobiling, hunting, hiking, golf, mountain biking, horseback riding, kayaking, boating, swimming, rafting, rock climbing, shopping, music concerts and varied innovative dining and micro-breweries are all a short distance from this large and cozy home.

Whether your looking for family togetherness or privacy, this home will fit your needs! Three bedrooms have king beds; two bedrooms have queen beds, and the sixth bedroom has two sets of bunk beds. New large Weber gas grill on the back deck; the great room has gas fireplace, leather furnishings, and 60" flat screen TV, with surround sound built into the vaulted ceiling. In the lower level recreation area is a huge movie room with sectional for 10 and 65" flat screen TV, DVD player; 8' Plank and Hide pool table with a ping pong table conversion top.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Windows closed. Dirty linens and towels go in laundry baskets and then placed on the black shelves in the garage. TV remotes on trays near TVs.
Gas grill, cleaned up and cover put on, make sure to cinch it up due to winds. If any items in the garage were used, please put back for the next guest.
Safe travels. Leave us a review and Come Again!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Turn off Exterior and garage lights when all guests are in for the night. Quiet hours 10pm to 8am. Thanks for being courteous to the neighbors
Tuesday after 5pm, trash cans to the end of driveway for Wed 6:00 AM pick-up. Return empty cans to garage. No fireworks of any kind on property.
Checkout: Place Sheets(fitted, flat, pillowcases) and soiled towels in laundry baskets then put in garage. NO blankets/comforters in laundry baskets.

Comfortable rooms, warm and inviting living spaces. Included entertainment with the game tables made it a great spot for the whole family. Wonderful House!!

We had 8 people, ages from 15 to 70. This house was perfect. Plenty of room to spread out and the media room was great. Everyone enjoyed playing pool also. Our contact was very pleasant and responsive. If we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely book this house again.

Great house to spend time with family and explore the area

This was a beautiful home in a beautiful location. Quiet neighboorhood and yet close to town to check out the coffeeshops, breweries, or the huckleberry shakes. There was plenty of room for our family of 8 and lots of activities to do. We enjoyed pool and ping pong and bean bags and watching the fireworks from around the fire pit.we also explored the area and went on hikes and went to Grand Teton NP.It was a wonderful home and we would recommend it as a great home base to explore the atea, but also to relax and connect with our family.Thanks for letting us rent your beautiful home.

Fantastic People and Property. Cathi responded to all texts/emails within minutes.Home was clean, plenty of space, everything worked, and well stocked from kitchen needs to bathrooms. Indoor game room was perfect. Outdoor fire pit area provided great star gazing and multiple sightings of the ISS and satellites. Backyard was nice to utilize yard games. Bikes provided let you see the neighborhood rather than driving around. The beautiful location far surpassed the little bit of a drive to Jackson Hole or Yellowstone.We have been doing this since 1998 and would rate this home at the top because they took the extra time to see to the little things were addressed (Notes like fireplace and tv operation, check out list, bikes, coolers, games, fire pit etc.). If visiting the area, I would highly recommend a stay at this location.

What a gem

Really amazing stay. The pictures don't do it justice. We had 10 people between our two families - and everyone had plenty of space with all of the bedrooms. The highlight was the downstairs den/playroom for the kids. They spent hours and hours playing ping pong and all the games down there. The house was so well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. It's about a 45 minute drive into the park through the Teton pass, but we really enjoyed just staying on the property and going into town. Highly recommend

Perfect Size & Layout for a gathering of friends: Six acres provides privacy, large open kitchen living room is great for shared meals as is the beautiful back porch. Location is close enough to town to quickly get supplies/groceries/meet fishing guides, yet just far out enough to feel fully in the beauty of the Teton Valley. This was our second stay there--and we are planning for a third next year.

Absolutely beautiful home in a gorgeous setting

Near Yellowstone and Grand Tetons, Jackson WY is about 40 minutes, cute little town in Victor ID. Home was impressive with ALL of the amenities that our family needed and then some! Home was clean and the game room was phenomenal! Perfect place for a family vacation- we will definitely return! Communication with hosts was quick and very easy! We really enjoyed our stay!

Why they chose this property

Our journey West started with our friendship with another family in our community of Wyoming, Ohio! This family attended the Teton Valley Ranch Camp near Jackson Hole as children in the '60's-70's and their children have also attended and worked at the camp. We have returned to this area with our family and different friend groups for the last 25 years, experiencing the beauty and adventures that make up the memories of a lifetime! Our kids were just big enough to take in the well known sites of Yellowstone and the Teton National Park, the weekly rodeo and shoot out in the Town Square in Jackson. We've taken float trips down the Teton and Snake Rivers and enjoyed leisurely horse back riding adventures in the Targhee National Forest. Now our kids are white water rafting, skiing the black diamond trails of Jackson and Grand Targhee Resorts, mountain biking and hiking in areas we used to read about. Wanting to come back year after year made us realize that we needed to make home ownership a reality, so we started looking for homes in the Teton Valley and found this home in the fall of 2017.

What makes this property unique

The benefit of owning a home in Victor, is that we are delighted to be on the "Quiet side of the Tetons", with access to the hustle and bustle of the town of Jackson only 27 miles away! After a long day of out door adventure you might want to stay in the Valley and enjoy the massive starlight skies. There are amazing dining establishments, nightlife and unique shops in Victor and Driggs to make everyone in your group happy. We hope you feel right at home and come back when the mountains are calling!
