Comfortable and well equipped

Our girlfriend getaway found this to be the perfect spot. Comfy and cozy and with special touches like a bottle of wine and a Kringle for breakfast. The owner was a phone call away if we needed anything - which we didn’t. Easy in and out and an enjoyable stay.

Great alternative choice

Faced with a shortage of hotel rooms in Kenosha, we found this great and convenient home rental. It is easy to get to and located near the lake and Sheridan Road. The owner had some nice personal touches like snacks, wine, and kringle. His restaurant recommendation is spot on, the Blue Bear is awesome! The mattress was as good as any hotel, and the extra space of a small house is a bonus.

Disappointing stay

We were changed from the house we rented in January 2 days before our arrival. Chris considered the property we were changed to would be an “upgrade” but we did not feel this was an upgrade in any way. We stayed at the house we were suppose to rent 2 years ago and absolutely loved this house! It was very clean with no detail missed! The house we actually stayed in was old, worn down, and not clean. Taking a risk during Covid was scary but I was reassured that all areas would be sanitized. The house wasn’t clean let alone sanitized. It was a huge disappointment to say the least. I feel that Chris is an excellent host and probably didn’t realize the house was not up to his high standard. The good news is that he is very responsive to problems and I believe he tries to provide a positive experience. The proper house should be shown on my review as the house we should have been in is attached to our reservation. I think he should have refunded some of my payment as he was not able to give us the house I actually reserved and the new house was not a house I would ever choose. It certainly was not an upgrade..only larger which we did not need. This house needs more updating done and a deep clean of floors, area rugs, throw pillows, and new new towels ( some towels were not even white anymore) Sinks did not drain well, the bathtub was stained and old. No ice maker or ice left for us. 4 bottles of water for a 5 day stay. No to go coffee cups. My prior experience with Chris’s property was so excellent and this was a huge disappointment. I’m so sorry to leave this review but it’s the truth and hopefully will lead to improving this property.

Hi Tammy Thanks for staying with us again. All of our homes are cleaned with Clorox and Lysol as your upgraded home was. All of our guests are welcome with FREE waters, snacks, bottle of wine, O&H Bakery Kringle, coffee with condiments, complete spice rack, all paper goods and more. The ice maker of the new stainless refrigerator was turned off somehow. All good now! This beautiful spacious 3 bedroom 1.5 bath ranch was just upgraded with brand new oak hard wood floors and six panel doors. Guests have loved this home sitting on a double wooded lot in a quite neighborhood close to restaurants and shopping. Be Safe! Thanks Chris

Summer rental

The house was comfortable and met our needs. Kitchen was well stocked. Upon arrival, there were snacks, water and Kringle, very thoughtful. Chris was always prompt when we requested something. We would stay again.

Just what we needed

Very cute and welcoming home. While the home is small it was perfect for us. The breakfast kringle and the bottle of wine which were left for us were greatly enjoyed.

Cozy home

Home was nice, and stayed warm during the crazy polar vortex! Driveway was plowed, extras like Kringle and wine were thoughtful. It was nice that laundry detergent was available to do a quick small load without having to buy detergent. I didn’t think the kitchen was super well equipped, there was only one knife. I didn’t do any major cooking so it fit my needs. Thanks, will stay again when I’m out that way!

Wonderful adorable house!

Darling extremely clean house! We really enjoyed our stay! The only comment would be the air conditioning was not strong enough to cool the house our first couple of days. In fairness, Racine was experiencing a heat wave the beginning of our week! I would recommend having a couple of fans available to circulate the air better. Chris was extremely responsive and tried to get somebody to the house right away but it was a holiday week. The weather cooled off by mid week and we bought a fan so it was much more comfortable. The hosts surprised us with wine, goodies on our arrival and that was very special. I hope we get to stay again in the future!! Thankyou Chris for everything!

Comfortable accommodations and wonderful host

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It had everything we could need and was very comfortable. We have a family of 5 with 3 teenagers and this was perfect for us. Chris was a wonderful host who made sure we had everything we needed.

I have been married to my wife Alane for over 35 years. We have 3 boys. My two oldest sons married Brazilian girls, Gilly and Juliana.

Arthur and Juliana live in the Baltimore area with our new little granddaughter Victoria. She's so cute. Arthur is a computer programmer and Juliana is an employment specialist.

Alex and Giselle are in San Jose, California. Giselle is the first doctor of the family and teaches at the University of San Jose. Alex is our sales manager at our company in Phoenix.

Our youngest son, Christopher (The Foof) is disabled and is the coolest kid. He's 29 years old. Our family travels to a great many places. Foof goes with us to the Grand Cayman's several times a year and other places like Aruba, Indy car races, concerts, and more. He loves to visit with his brothers and hang out.

I travel to China several times a year for business and pleasure. I feel with all the travelling we do, we know what travelers want and like. So, we have gone the extra mile to make our properties fun and unique. We print the custom artwork you see throughout the homes at my company in Phoenix. We have top notch bed, pillows, and bedding for "The ultimate sleep experience." Gym equipment, fun activities like Foosball tables, putting greens, and more.

We would like your experience to be memorable because in the end you only have the great memories of your adventures! We want to be part of that. So if you have any special requests or questions, please let us know.
