Why Eric Rubin When i am not availible my two co-hosts Paul or Kim will be! chose McAlpin
The log cabin chalet has 18 ft high ceilings in the living room and spa room, and gives you a sense of openness not often found in many places. The bedroom looks out on woods and fields, and one does not have to look hard to see bunnies, coyotes, and deer, wandering by. The spa room was designed to create a space of relaxation and peace. An early morning meditation in the spa room, (meditation cushions and mats are available), a walk on the treadmill, upprt body multi-machine and pull up machine30-50 "laps" in the endless pool, sit in the sauna and purge your body of toxins as you read a book from my library, and then a jump in the cool water of the outside pool, is a wonderful way to start any day! End the day back in the Spa room, repeat the morning ritual before bed, (and don't forget to brush your teeth), and get a good night’s sleep, because the big decision in the morning is "do we go exploring" or hang out at the pool and spa room again today?"' Decisions, decisions, decisions! Walk the five fenced in acres of the property. Set up you easel under one of the many 100 year old trees and paint your day away, or set up your table and set up your typewriter or laptop(wireless available through much of the property), and work on your novel, memoirs, or write that love letter that is so long overdue. Need quiet and solitude to write that business plan, get to work alone, or book all three rooms for your collaboration with your compatriots. And at night, light a fire in the outdoor fire pit, and make smores!

A perfect stay for a Florida game!
Glad you all had a great time at my place. It was a pleasure meeting you and your friends.I know it would have been even better for you if the Gators hadn’t won! Hope to see you back soon!
Great Place !
Property manager was awesome and was very responsive . House is beautiful. The swim spa was one of our favorite parts of the place as well as of the peacefulness of the place.
Great Father's Day weekend. My family enjoyed the country rustic atmosphere. Eric was quick to respond to all of our needs and he was an important part of making our weekend so great. Planning on returning for a winter stay to enjoy the fireplace & huge hot tub better.
A place to recharge and pamper yourself!
This is a lovely area. Me, hubby, and our teen son enjoyed the nice springs for swimming and tubing and a visit to a local farm. We also spent a lot of time just relaxing in the beautiful cabin away from it all. The soothing jacuzzi is humongous. The refreshing pool is private, surrounded by peaceful woods. And the sauna is so relaxing. I also used the treadmill and made smoothies in the high-powered blender. If you really need to relax and give yourself the break you deserve, this is the perfect spot. Paul was nearby and available for whatever we needed, and Eric responded promptly to messages to answer any questions.
One of th best weekends I’ve had in years.
Eric is amazing with communication and his presentation of the property. Paul, his neighbor who you will meet if Eric isn’t on property, is awesome and makes you feel welcome and taken care of from the initial point of contact. The cabin is amazing, the hot tub is th real deal, the pool was refreshing, and you couldn’t ask for more peaceful nights in the woods.
We had a great stay, very secluded and private place, close to a lot of state parks. Loved it!
First of all, we booked this place for our honeymoon. My wife and I were looking for something cute, in the woods, private, with access to lots of nature, and with a hot tub! This place met all of our needs!
The communication with Eric was great from the very start, he helped accommodate a few requests and answered all of my questions prior to booking.
When we arrived, we met with Paul who let us in, gave us a key and showed us around the place and answered all of our questions. Paul was very friendly and very helpful. He even went back to his house (next door) and brought us over some DVDs, his personal expreso machine and then coffee that goes with it and he let us borrow all of that for the duration of our stay.
The hot tub was AMAZING! The location was great and we got to see 4 different starte parks and natural springs while we were there.
We ended up having the entire cabin to ourselves, even though we only booked one room; thanks to Eric choosing to block off the remaining rooms so that we can have the entire cabin for us as a wedding gift! How nice of him!
We were able to cook meals at home since my wife has a very strict diet. Eric’s kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed.
The only reason why this review doesn’t get 5 stars is due to the overall cleanliness of the place not fully meeting our expectations. But other than that, We ABSOLUTELY loved the place and had a phenomenal few days of honeymoon that we will forever remember and cherish.
Thank you Eric for making it possible!
Hope your time in Africa with your fiancé is going fantastic!
