great property but villa could be cleaner

Amazing site, lush vegetation, multiple places to relax and enjoy the scenery. Great pool, kayaks, etc. Two houses is also a plus. Beach relatively small but clean. Unfortunately the two villas show their age: old furniture but generally clean. Our main problem with this rental was that the kitchen was dirty. Dishes and utensils had food residus, many of the small appliances (toaster, coffee machine, etc were dirty and stained) and the kitchen was infested by ants. There is no garbage can in the kitchen likely because it woudl attract even more ants. The kitchen needs a thorough cleaning and getting rids of ants.

Apart from occasional internet outages and slow internet speeds, everything was ok.If you need to spend some time without a chef or helper, my advice is to bring enough food and snacks with you, as there are no supermarkets nearby. You'll need to drive out to find one.
