River House is a historical villa located in the heart of historic Seville between the Cathedral and the Guadalquivir River, a few meters from the popular Torre del Oro is without doubt the best location in Seville.
Built originally in S. XVII as an official residence of the Royal Treasury , has been completely renovated and is equipped with modern amenities but retains the flavor of historic buildings .
The house consists of ground floor, first and second and is distributed in : foyer with interior elevator , living room, three bedrooms with attached bath, office , attic, deprivation and terrace and a large, bright kitchen .
The house is hot / cold heated and has free internet and rent linens , towels and kitchen equipment . Its crockery and glassware are of the highest quality . It has a plasma TV and stereo.
The house is decorated in classic and comfortable with quality furnishings and works of contemporary painters and sculptors Andalusian style. A curious collection of photos adorn one of his walls.
Being situated in the historical center, public transport or car is not necessary. All things to visit in Sevilla , you can walk to visit a pleasant walk : the Cathedral, the Alcázar , the Palace of San Telmo, the Torre del Oro and Guadalquivir ....
The shopping area and restaurants is two minutes from the house . It really is a public parking for your vehicle, a supermarket and a car rental office .
A house can be accessed on the bus from the airport ( save Torre del Oro ) and taxi. The airport is fifteen minutes and the train station ten minutes .
In short, it is a great choice for your vacation rental in Seville.

Fantastic stay in the perfect location

Very nice multi-level property in an ideal location near the city center and many local attractions, all within walking distance. The home was well stocked with essentials and had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again during future visits to Sevilla!

Sevilla historical home

Fabulous location to be able to walk to famous sites (Alcazar, Cathedral) or grab public transportation. Our group of 6 loved the rooftop terrace for gathering. Thank you for a wonderful trip to a beautiful city!

Wonderful home right in the center of activity!

We traveled here as a party of 6 which included my parents (80), my wife and I (early 50's) and our 2 children (22 & 19). This home was perfect for us and the elevator was such a blessing for my mom as she has a hard time walking upstairs. The home itself is absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. Plenty of space for everyone and, once the owner helped us figure out the a/c, we were in heaven! Speaking of the owner, she was absolutely wonderful and was so attentive to all of our needs. Muchas Gracias, Maria! Location here is excellent. You have a grocery store literally steps away, plenty of restaurant options, and right next to plenty of sightseeing as well.

Comfortable Stay in Fabulous Location

For our first visit to Seville, this 4-story home was in the perfect location. We easily walked to all the tourist sites and beyond. 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms gave us plenty of room, and we enjoyed the outside terrace. The kitchen was well equipped. Our host responded to all our inquiries, but it would have been helpful to have printed instructions at the house that explained WiFi , heating system, appliances and trash removal. This is a wonderful, historic home in the heart of the city.

Lovely well-located apartment

This apartment has an incredible location and is very comfortable and quiet. You are literally steps away from restaurants, the cathedral, and the alcazar. Even a grocery store is really close. Our check-in information came a bit last minute, but did work and we got in easily. We agree with previous reviews that having the AC started before your arrival would be nice, especially in the summer, but once it cooled it did stay cool. Some hints on how to use the washing machine would also be helpful. But the kitchen was well stocked and the linens were plentiful. We would definitely use this apartment again and happily recommend it.

Spacious home in perfect location

Large lovely and well appointed house in a perfect location. Our family of 6 was able to spread out comfortably. Large kitchen, which can be hard to find. A few suggestions: (1) as the host asks for exact time of arrival, it would be nice if the host turned on the A/C prior to arrival in the height of summer - house was stifling when we got there and took over 24 hrs to get it to anywhere near comfortable - the day bedroom up top and the master never fully cooled off - AC was a prerequisite for my rental decision as we were visiting in mid-July. (2) The house could use an instruction booklet explaining AC control, WiFi, trash collection and a few other things - we had a hard time figuring these out. We love Seville - 2d trip and we will certainly be back!

Excellent location, right in the heart of Santa Cruz district. Walkable everywhere. Spacious 4 floor apartment with a roof deck and an elevator! Well equipped and well appointed, ideal to sight see Saville.

Elegance, location and comfort

Great location, central to all attractions and restaurants. Lots of room, great for a family of 6 or 7. Good communication from host. Quiet street with no car traffic and minimal noise. We highly enjoyed for 4 nights.

This is a first class property in a lovely setting in the heart of everything in Seville. Three good size bedrooms all ensuite, good size kitchen with all you need if you wish to cook in. The location is hard to beat being only a few minutes walk to the cathedral and the river and many more attractions and main shopping area within 10,15 minutes.Tram,metro,taxi rank all close. You are surrounded by restaurants and bars so spoiled for choice. Maria was great to deal with,always reverted promptly and was there to greet us on arrival. The property is in a pedestrianised street but remember you are in the midst of a bustling city where people tend to go out late so you are going to have city noise,if you are happy to live with that you will not find a better property.

Fabulous place to stay in Sevilla

We rented the River House Villa for seven weeks and the location was absolutely perfect. It was in the heart of the historic district and we were able to walk everywhere. The house is four stories tall, spacious, and really beautiful with three ensuite bedrooms, a fourth sleeping area, and a lovely terrace. The photos on the VRBO site are very accurate and there are no surprises. The manager, Maria was wonderful. She was very responsive and helpful and made our stay most comfortable. Anyone looking to stay in Sevilla would do well to look at the River House. We highly recommend it.

Great Location and Lovely Apartment

We had a great stay. The location was so convenient to walk to all of the sights, and the apartment was very quiet despite being steps away from the main paseo. The apartment was well appointed, and we made multiple meals there. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again! One word of advice -- we arrived the evening of the Saturday before Christmas, and we got stuck in traffic and could not find parking in the nearby garages. This is not a negative for the apartment -- just know that if you are arriving on what should be a busy day, try to arrive earlier in the day.

A lovely place close to most sights in Sevilla

We were 3 people who stayed for 3 nights at this lovely flat/townhouse. Each of us had our own sleeping room, each of them with their own bathroom. The flat/townhouse is of a very high standard. Every thing was clean and very nice. It has a nice terrace on the top floor. It is situated just off the pedestrian street, and very close to the Palace and Cathedral. And the Toro del Oro and the bullfight arena is just a few hundred meters away. We all enjoyed the flat and Sevilla very much.

Perfecto!!

Our family of 6 stayed at River House in June for 7 nights. The home is beautifully decorated with attention to detail and filled with Spanish and Asian antiques and historical photographs. Comfy beds, crisp white linen sheets and fluffy towels in all the bedrooms and baths. The 3 in-suite bedrooms are on separate levels and the home does have several flights of wide marble stairs, but it does have a working elevator. There's a roof top terrace with pretty teak folding chairs and potted plants, although no big city view, the large open deck is perfect for sharing tapas and Sangria. The new kitchen comes with all the nice little extras normally found in a full kitchen back home in the United States. Having a home with a large refrigerator and dishwasher allowed our family to fix a quick breakfast before heading out to explore Seville. There's a washer, iron and ironing board, plus hair dryers in each bathroom. The house is in the best location being only a 5 minute walk to the famous cathedral, the Alcazar and gardens, a huge strolling tree-lined park, short 2 block walk to the river and across the bridge there's a large supermarket, plus a convenient 24 hour public car park lot is literally 3 minutes from the home's door. The home is in a 17th century building and stone courtyard with a mix of quiet homes on each side and a few small architecture offices nestled in. No traffic noise as it's located on a pedestrian only street, which makes it all the more charming and relaxed. The home has central air-conditioning and the water pressure in the newly remodeled, large, marble bathrooms was delightful. It is one of the larger homes available to rent on VRBO and we were not disappointed. Our family felt extremely safe walking back late at night. The home is a 5 minute walk to one of the best restaurants, Petite Comite, call for reservations if possible, but make sure you eat there at least once- we went twice- it was that good. Maria, the owner of the home is very professional and prompt with returning emails and provided easy instructions on renting her gorgeous home. Check-in was a breeze, no complications, although finding it on GPS and Google Maps while driving a rental car can be challenging as you can't park within a block of the home due to the pedestrian only sections, but taxis' found it in no time. We hope to return again- loved Sevilla, the people, the Spanish architecture, the food, and highly recommend this beautiful home over hotels.
